On the whole a very easy service to use.. Unfortunately I didn't receive same day payment due to banking issues from their side.. However customer support we're prompt to respond to queries & payment was made the next day.

I was quoted £85 for my iphone 6 which was not working, communication was terrible and when I did eventually get paid over a month later I was only paid £35 no reason or warning was given for this and I clearly would not of accepted it. I complained to the company who stated they had informed by e mail this was clearly not the case. Reading the reviews (which I know wish I had done prior to dealing with them) I see a lot of other people have suffered the same fate. STAY CLEAR this company will rip you off.

I am not usually one for leaving bad reviews, HOWEVER, this company left such a bad taste in my mouth I have decided to share my experience to help stop this happening.
I chose this company as they were local to my area and am a supporter of local businesses where possible. I paid £20 to post my three items bubble wrapped and boxed safely as the order amount came to around £236 as quoted initially, one broken item and two immaculate items. I had no reply or acknowledgement of receipt of the items for weeks. I then took it upon myself to go to the premises. They did there was an issue with my email address as I was not receiving their emails. A little suspicious as they also had a telephone contact and an account for their personal website. I accepted a possible glitch in communication and proceeded to wait for them to finish the checks. Nothing said about any damage to the items at that point. I thenwaitied a further month for any correspondence. I emailed another email address they supplied when I visited to chase this up being told I'd receive an update that evening... no update was given. I then contacted them again to follow the matter up and all I was told was that I would receive my evening into my bank account, no futher details or explanation. I them checked my account to see that only £166 had been paid instead of £236. They Claimed my items were dented and damaged when they arrived. Knowing the safety in which I packaged my items I found this entirely difficult to believe. They claimed they had sent me an email with the new price which I had not received and certainly would not agree to accepting. Awful company

Was quoted £180 and was offered £160 for my Iphone 6 which I thought was fair. Received cheque in the post, but payment bounced and am still awaiting payment.

To be fair they got back to me very quickly via email (same day) and helped me through this, said there was not enough money in that account and appologised deeply.

It would have been a 5 star if the payment had not bounced.

Hopefully will have payment soon.

DO NOT USE.... Offered me £190 for my iPhone then hit me with the standard line of "it does not match their expectations", and reduced this to £150. Despite getting the same price elsewhere... Also when i recieved my iPhone back the box looked like it had been ran over.. A friend had a simillar experince but he let them get away with it. DO NOT USE

Having use Evirophone (and a couple of other services) many times before, I thought I would try this company, only to find that I really should have stuck with what I already knew. Firstly, their bag never arrived - so I had to email them a second time. They then took a number of days to assess the phone, finally telling me there was a screen blemish (news to me which, considering it was my phone, is somewhat concerning) and offered 50% of their original agreement - nonsense! And now, 7 days later, I am still awaiting receipt of the "tracked" phone - which they now inform me will be "posted" within 7 days of my rejection. Tried to express a little feedback in their direction - however they are completely oblivious!

All I can say is, from my experience, this appears to be a company worth avoiding...

Most interesting was iPhoneRecycling.co.uk tried to get this review removed claiming that it wasn't a verified purchase - only they had forgotten that I had an order no. letter to and from the CEO about my concerns which was swiftly forward to trustPilot!

Soon after I had sent in the iPhone, I received an email from iPhoneRecycling.co.uk saying that I had not removed the iCloud link. I followed the instructions given but did not hear back for a month. When I emailed them about this, they confirmed that I had indeed removed the iCloud link and said they would look into the matter. When nothing had happened after another month, I asked again, and this time they claimed I had not removed the iCloud link … I pointed out that they were contradicting themselves and asked for step-by-step instructions, but received no reply. A total of 4 months have passed now.

All great, fast payment

I sent my phone in and was sent an updated offer which was over £100 less than originally quoted. I rejected the offer on the same day (22nd September) it is now 12th October and I have STILL not received my phone back. There has been no communication to me whatsoever as to where my phone is. There has been no response on the online chat and waiting for a response to my email. All the time, the iPhone is depreciating in value since the iPhone 7 was released. Awful.

Fast and efficient, price was guaranteed as promised. Will use again.

I was quoted the best price by IPhoneRecycling compared to other websites but living on the Isle of Man I was nervous to send my phone away and I anticipated it would be a slow process where I would probably end up with less money than the quoted amount. However, I posted my phone off before lunchtime and the following day my phone had been received and the quoted amount of money was in my bank account that same day! Absolutely amazing service and I would recommend using this service to anyone!

Easy online form, best price and cost me nothing. Quick process and kept me updated.

Sent my iPad back in the supplied padded envelop with additional internal protection. Excellent automated communication :

I got an alert that they had received it
I got an alert that they were checking it
I got an alert that they had paid what they had quoted becuase my device was as promised

At not point was I worried. Importantly they sent an alert as soon as they received it so no worries with it being lost in our once sadly famous Royal Mail. Several other services don't send you an alert on receipt which I think is a error.
