False advertising of villa, pool and features. Complaint not dealt with reasonably.
Pool advertised as 10 metres long- was just under 8 metres. No poolside shower as advertised. No pool heating as advertised. No bath in ensuite (or entire villa) as advertised. 'Breakfast bar' was actually just a high worktop in the kitchen with no seating provided so fine as long as you eat standing up. Patio doors' to terrace was not a patio door just a normal width, solid front door happening to open onto that side of the house. Tables dirty, pool table and table tennis broken and not fit for purpose. House not all one level- several internal steps. Kitchen sink drainer cracked and unhygienic.
Complaint team said we should have notified them whilst at the villa so they could rectify the issues- what come and elongate the pool by 2 metres and pop a bath and pool shower in??? Offered £45 for £760 holiday compensation
As you can see from the James villa reply- they still think offering a service in villa is going to sort a pool being 2 metres shorter than advertised and missing facilities such as a bath / poolside shower???? Beyond belief.

James villas always has the best places to stay. I have used them many times for our 'big' holiday abroad. I have never been disappointed. Once, when we did have a problem, James villas for got it sorted out very quickly.

From the easy booking experience, first on the website and then on the James Villa app, to the regular contact and details ahead of arrival and being in situ, everything was as stated and meant we had a hassle-free vacation. Excellent villa, well equipped perfect for 2 families. Perfect location quiet up in the hills but a 10-15 Minute walk to the sea front and restaurants. Best pool ever had. Villa backs onto a lemon orchard with a horse who visits. Loved it will be coming back here. (not for you if you want to go clubbing)
