Terrible customer service and no reply to emails

Terrible customer service. Their chat on the app gets answered but you cannot do anything on the chat. No emails can be sent or received.

I paid for my French holiday in full but when I cancelled, Novasol took took too much money for my cancellation fees. It should have been £79 and they took £167.71. I have been chasing this for weeks through 4 different email addresses and all with no reply.

I phoned their Danish hot line as recommended on their chat yesterday and sent all my details by email and again, there is still no reply. I am going around in circles and want to complain about my treatment. They will no reply to my complaint so ABTA is the next step.

Refused a refund, with 6 months notice

We booked a villa through AirBNB with the host as Novasol. We had to cancel with 6 months notice, they were very rude a d refused to refund anything but 1pence. We tried to mediate and come to an agreement as we had paid a £738 deposit and it is not as if we had cancelled the day before, so they are refusing to refund anything else. I would avoid at all costs. They could have easily booked the villa again due to its location. I think 6 months is fair warning foe cancelling.

Very good website

The website was very easy to use. Finding the right accommodation was very good. Everything worked perfectly.

avoid avoid avoid…

Booked an apartment for my summer holiday 2026 in 2025.
In February this year I went onto my booking to update my payment details and the booking was not there.
After trying to speak to someone at Novasol I was reassured the booking was still confirmed and no issues, it’s likely the owner just isn’t renewing for the 2027 season. They sent me a new link that showed my booking confirmed. Roll on to April and I get a phone call to say my booking is being cancelled no explanation why but there is nothing they can do. 3 months until my travel, flights booked and the only options to swap are for apartments no where near my original area booked and dirt cheap and quite frankly places I wouldn’t even let my cat sleep let alone my family.
I’m now left with no where to stay for 10 days in July but flights booked. Only options to book somewhere with a different company and this is going to cost me £600 more. £600 I hadn’t factored into needing to save and with only 3 months to do so. If I cancelled that close to the holiday I would have been charged so why can they just get away with cancelling and offering no form of compensation for me now being out of pocket!?
Oh and to top it off the refund can take up to 4 weeks…. AVOID this company at all costs

STAY AWAY FROM NOVASOL

STAY AWAY FROM NOVASOL. BOOK AT YOUR PERIL.

3 bedroom Beautiful Home in Arzal
Address 23 Rue de Bellevue, Arzal
recently stayed in a Gite in Arzal, Brittany. The whole experience was a complete fiasco. After check in we had to find the electrical master switch in the completely dark cellar, no torch provided , then find the water stop tap and have a guess at how to switch on the central heating boiler, no instructions were provided by the property owner or management company.
Of our 5 night stay we only had central heating and hot water for 2 night and bottled gas for the gas hob for 3 nights.
On the second night the central heating boiler exhaust pipe detached itself from the flu in the cellar and flooded the whole house with deisel fumes, this could have had serious consequences had not the deisel fuel run out leaving us with headache but no hot water or heating. The bottled gas for the hob ran out on the third day leaving us with limited cooking option.
All in all a very unpleasant experience made worse by the total lack of customer care from Novasol.
This booking was made through Booking.com and while they made an effort to assist it was simply not enough and far from effective it failed completely to solve any of the issues.
It seems that ,reading other reviews from dissatisfied customers, we were lucky in that Novasol offered compensation, although we leave with you to decide if Euro25 should be considered enough, for our part we thought it derisory and insulting. After further contact with Novasol they basically told us to go and whistle the offer would not be improved.
If this is the sort of customer care you would be happy to receive in the event of any problems go ahead and book with Novasol otherwise take our advice and STAY AWAY.

we are cosidering legal action against this company for marketing a property which in our opinion is dangerous and badly maintained, and for not providing in full the property as advertised. In short we did not get what we paid for.

A note for Booking.com should they ever see this review. You ought to take more care who you allow to advertise through your booking platform their reputation might rub off on you, or are you like Novasol only interested in the money. We will certainly be more aware of who manages future properities and will certainly not book any property managed by Novasol.

Very dissatisfied yet again with customer service

Very dissatisfied again with customer service.
Asked about possibility ofchanging changing dates of holiday and before say yes it will cost so much extra or not he went and changed booking without informing me.
Usual novasol customer care not good.
It let's down the satisfaction you know you will get same very poor treatment from customer service every time

Warning! Novasol is very bad company, bad service and no respect for the guests. Best advice stay away!

The owner of the property we were renting have repeatedly disturbed us with unannounced visits, which we regard as an invasion of our privacy. Additionally, we were falsely accused of causing a burn mark on the kitchen table with a cigarette, despite no one in our household being smoking inside the house as we have small kids. Later same day Novasol asked us to leave the property. We were visiting from UK and was asked to leave in extreme cold weather with kids at night hours. Still no refund and no compensation after destroying our holidays. STAY AWAY FROM NOVASOL this is our advise.

Booked thru VRBO and after initial…

Booked thru VRBO and after initial deposit received one message confirming booking.Afterwards, not one message was replied from the host Novasol. It has been two weeks with several emails not replied!

Next day I found nothing had left my bank & my account with you showed I still hadn't payed the deposit which I then did. How was it confirmed by your representative originally
