To keep it short 🤬

To keep it short - mold on several walls, moldy and sewage smell, dirty shower, ants, unsafe kitchen supplies, basket full of dirty laundry, mold in the bedrooms as well. - Extra payments in cash outside of airbnb.
We tried complaining and were just happy to leave with our money back. We asked for a full refund on the cash for towels etc because we didnt even shower because of the dirty shower. We did not get a full refund, only 1/3 back.
They offered to come clean and REPAINT over the mold as they didnt have enough time before?? As thats going to fix our issues.

They offered to clean again and replace the pans after our 4th day of takeout because of the cooking hazard. We stayed 4/14 days and took what little money we got back and left asap.

Matthew took several hours to answer and didnt want to comply because after all they did offer to clean, and have a handyman come for several days to do a paint job and cover up black mold..

Horrible, stay away from NOVASOL.

Scammers - Stay away

I made a booking on booking.com - They sent a message to me saying they had cancelled my reservation, however on booking.com it had not been cancelled, and there is a charge to me for cancellation.

This company is a serious red flag for anyone booking accommodation in Spain.

Our experience with Novasol Spain was extremely stressful and unacceptable due to serious failures in communication, check-in handling, and respect for guests.

Although the booking was fully prepaid in advance for a significant amount of money, the check-in process was unclear and poorly organized. We were instructed to coordinate directly with a local representative, without receiving any clear written instructions or a structured check-in procedure beforehand.

On the day of arrival, our messages were ignored. We arrived at the agreed time after confirming it in advance, yet the representative arrived late, did not answer phone calls while we were waiting at the door, and showed no professionalism.

During the meeting, the representative demanded that we open our suitcases and show their contents, including personal underwear. I explicitly asked whether he seriously expected us to open our luggage and display personal underwear, and he confirmed that this was exactly what was required.

The representative then contacted a Novasol manager by phone, who confirmed the same demand instead of resolving the situation. This requirement was never disclosed before arrival, is intrusive in nature, and is deeply inappropriate and degrading, as no property management company or representative has the right to inspect guests’ personal belongings.

Only after the check-in had already failed did Novasol attempt to justify these demands retroactively.

As a result, we were refused check-in after arrival and left without accommodation in the evening, in a foreign country, with our belongings and no place to stay. Resolving this situation required ongoing escalation and significant effort on our side.

This experience caused a complete loss of trust. Based on what we went through, I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before booking with Novasol Spain, especially if you are traveling from another country and cannot simply walk away from a failed check-in.

Check-in was a nightmare at our Malaga…

Check-in was a nightmare at our Malaga apartment rental! Our friends got to the apartment earlier than we did, I had already put her on the reservation, and the check-in lady would not let her in even with that, and she was very rude,too. Also, at check out you also have to arrange to physically return the key to the same (rude) check-in person.

I emailed the management company, Novosol, and they were not responsive. If you book with this company make sure you get the emergency contact number ahead of time so you can get help in real-time; hopefully you won't need to use it!

An apartment that would make your skin crawl!!!

I have no words that would explain the absolute horror that is the apartment we rented. NOW, it could be the owner does not want to invest any money into the apartment, but this apartment is in desperate need to be upgraded. The bed is a disaster area, how we slept in it god only knows. An ancient foam mattress with 2 more toppers on it that didn't fit properly. We couldn't use the air con for the best part of a week because it had black spores all over the inside of it, the agents came to clean it, but it was not totally cleaned and the owners had signs on them saying don't use at night, something that was not properly explained to us. This place is a disaster, it might have been nice once, with a stunning view, but that's it.....filthy, old and needing gutted. We opened one of the wardrobes and the stink of old, over used blankets was sick inducing. Please don't go near this place it's an absolute tip, you wouldn't want to sit on the couch as it's stinking too. I have no idea how we put up with this and paid for this? Stay away from the apartment in Coronado Marbessa.
I'd just like to add that ANY apartment on Novasol I would take the photographs with more than a pinch of salt, our apartment's pictures were at LEAST 5 years out of date!!!!!!! If anyone wants photos I can supply, funny that we can't upload photos here as they would cause a lot of damage to their business!!!!! I would appreciate someone getting in touch with me to discuss further.

If anyone needs more information just ask, I'm willing to tell a lot more if asked.

The worst holiday ever! A nightmare 😡

1) I did pay booking, but a company sent me other bill of €173 for electricity per day, for towel and cleaning which should be included in the price of what I already paid to booking..
And they threat you if you don't pay, you're not going to have access to the residence.

I never experienced such a awful service in my whole life.

2) They gave me the worst apartment. No pool as mentioned on the picture of the residence (they said that I had to go to another block)

3) The bathroom smells of sewers, a very unpleasant smell that spreads throughout the bedroom.

4) No more than 1 toilet paper per bathroom even if they know that I did book for 3 weeks.. So I had to put a reminder to buy toilet paper while I am outside visiting.. 🙃

5) No bed sheets or pillow covers to change in 3 weeks!!!

6) Stove didn't work and I couldn't cook the 1st weekend.. I did call but no one came even after the weekend, I had to find out and fix it myself..

7)* Water was cut while my hands were full of soap, just before to go under the shower.
Also, I had to call again with roaming costs and they couldn't find out until I went to the security to ask, but they also didn't know until an agent of maintenance opened the closet of meter and surprise the meter was blocked with a red rubon because the water wasn't paid by the owner!!! 😡
I had to call and call to let them fix the problem and did ask to relocate me to another apartment, but they didn't accept..

The worse experience in my whole life 😪
Never again with the Santa Maria
and Never again with NOVASOL who gave me the worst apartment !!! THEY SHOULD REIMVURSE ME AT LEAST THE ROAMING COSTS plus all the inconvenience and all the bad times they caused me!

And Never again with TICK Property Service who did block me on WhatsApp when I had no water and wanted to ask about it..
I am happy that the 3 weeks are behind me, because it was a nightmare instead holiday.

I am still in Spain to enjoy few days far from struggles..

A scam please run... I received a cancellation for my booking 3 days before my trip I requested the reimbursement of my money but no answer..
How can this happen.

Received an email today from Novasol

Received an email today from Novasol, 3 days before departure, "your holiday has been cancelled" no explanation. Flights have been booked with small children and nowhere to stay! I managed to get hold of the host, they said they informed Novasol in May that the dates I booked were not available. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THEM!

Everything went as planned

We booked a newish villa from Torre de la Horadada and everything went as planned. The villa was new and clean. The key holder gave us the keys in agreed time and was active in communicating with us. The communication was done via Novasol portal. Just remember to pay for bed linen before arrival via Novasol portal. The cleanup will be paid to key holder when arriving with cash.

Claimed we owed money already paid

We were staying at a house booked via Holidu but managed by Novasol. All the information we had (listing pages on Holidu and Novasol, through the booking process, confirmation email, manage my booking page) said that sheets & towels and final cleaning were included. But when we arrived we were told we had to pay €350 extra for that. Novasol are extremely hard to get hold of so as well as trying to resolve it with them several times I also discussed it directly with the host. After lots of back and forth over several days the host told me Novasol had admitted they made a mistake (never sent us the contract or correct information) and would pay the costs. BUT Novasol still kept harassing me for the money, even calling me up several days after the holiday ended claiming we needed to pay! When I pointed out (again) that it was their mistake so it’s not our responsibility to pay, they ended the call and I haven’t heard from them since.

Los alcazaras

This apartment I am in at the moment for 2 weeks is disgusting. Not clean at all, plus air conditioning not working shower not working, utility room the smell.is disgusting. The bedding is horrible. Washing machine so old and full of rust, tv not working now 5 days still no replacement. No kettle or toaster. Do not use this company its disgraceful

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. They work with airbnb and made a mistake. Sent us an email out side of airbnb to charge us an extra 80 euros. Thieves. All we want is our money back and the crazy lady wont even let us talk. Asked to speak to a manager and she said no lol. Whoa. Avoid. Make sure when you book on airbnb , they are not affiliated with this company. Look at the other reviews

Appalling and basically theft

Appalling and basically theft - after paying €300 deposit, €120 cleaning fee, €35 for internet (which was supposed to be included) and €60 for bedding ! All upfront to the owner (instructed by Novasol) we are now €335 out of pocket because the owner refuses to return our money.

The owner states the apartment wasn’t clean enough ! But we paid €120 upfront before we were allowed in for cleaning

The owner ‘made up damage’ which we have photos and videos to prove did not happen.

Despite all the evidence and proof - what have Novasol done ??

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Avoid this company - avoid this apartment - they will take your money

I made a reservation for a one month of…

I made a reservation for a one month of rent. I am trying to reach them so I can change my date of arrival which is within the 30 days rent. I am from Canada and cannot fill out the pick up date form online. They wont reconized my phone number. I emailed them in both their email address at the head office and email in US but they wont reply to me.... There is no phone number of contact info where I can call to arrange my arrival.... I paid a full month of rent for nothing and concern about where to stay when I get them... this is a scam company.... with no customer service or contact info.... very worry about my reservation

A worst experience ever

A worst experience ever! This company is a .....!!! We was in Spain in Torreviejja in their Beautiful Home in Torreviejja named house. First day half of the electricity had gone, second day all electricity gone. We left without electricity, without heating with four small kids. Two of got very sick. My Husband
try to call the man who was responsible for the key, but no answer. The money back guarantee for them is nothing. They said we got a full refund, after 3 days we have the right to leave the house. And then nothing happened!!! They not answering. Booking.com said novasol refund our 65euro electricity. They are a joke!!

We sent email to you to claims.es at novasol.com AND claims at novasol.com AND novasol at novasol.co.uk AND novasol at novasol.com and never ever got an answer!! On the phone +34868867890 and +34868864830 the Spanish customer service promise us they're going to refund us because he told we can leave the apartment. You don't offered us another accommodation in this time. It is very nice here in in this website you try to save your company straight away when you saw a bed review. But this not enough to make a satisfied customer without a right refund. Could you tell us how you let a property if it is not fit to rent? We a have a video record when was raining on the ceiling the water was flowing in the bathroom.

Holiday nightmare at NOVASOL apartment

We have rented an apartment in Pineda de Mar (Spain) from Novasol. We have found two big angry dogs loose in a patio next door from which we are only a window and a courtain apart.

The noise and the barks are unbearable and non stop. They start from 7 am onwards and it's maddening.

We asked Novasol to rellocate us or to refund us but they refuse.

It's a shame that Novasol should deceive and mistreat the visitors that wish to enjoy their holidays and end up living a horror movie.

As tourists and consumers we feel utterly unprotected.
