I requested my gift be delivered on…

I requested my gift be delivered on Tuesday 29 August. It was delivered 3 days earlier on Saturday Saturday 26 August. The recipient was in Lincolnshire until Tuesday. The delivery company left the flowers at their doorstep.
I'm very upset about this and ask why my request wasn't followed?

Neither name nor message was attached

There were neither my name or my message was on the card. So upset. Also the color of the orchid was different too. So so disappointed.

We're very sorry that you were disappointed with the service that we provided.

We've now traced your order and investigated the circumstances. Unfortunately, sometimes it's not always possible to obtain the exact flowers that appear in our bouquets on our website. Fortunately, this is a rare occurrence but it does happen. As soon as we were aware that the color of the Orchid was unavailable, we emailed you with an alternative choice of replacing with either pink or white, but unfortunately we didn't receive a response, so rather than not send the flowers, we made a decision ourselves.

Concerning the message - we've looked at the message that you typed in on-line and can see that it did not include your name. We don't routinely add the senders name to a message as quite often, the sender is ordering on behalf of someone else, so this wouldn't be appropriate. A complete copy of the message is attached to the order confirmation - which is emailed on receipt of the order.

We are wondering if you received either of our emails as you don't seem to have been informed. Could our emails have ended in your spam or junk folder?

In any event, we are very sorry that you were disappointed and truly hope that we can be of good service to you in the future.
