Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service, they made the mistake of sending the wrong knife, and refused to correct the situation due to their usury return policy.
Great, razor sharp, proper chef knifes!
I am chef and for me knifes which they make and sell are top notch. Knifes can be sharpen to razor sharpness, price are very wide from budget workhorse to super expensive show off knifes. If I want to treat myself to new Japanese knife this is company to go. Customer service is also great. So far I did not had any issues with them. They always reply and ready to help. Delivery is great as well. If item is in stock they ship very promptly and product is always safely packed and in a good looking box.

Bought set two years ago
Bought set two years ago. One knife arrived without the hammered finish on one side. It was less than two months before the first blade was loose in handle, now two are loose. This was most expensive knives I've purchased, but didn't hold up near as well as the Henkels we got as wedding present 30 years ago. At least Blades are nice quality and hold edge.
Great knives and swift delivery.
you Call That A Knife.. These Are Knives JCK
Oh.. would not even know where to start. The variety of knives from the Masters themselves, some going back 14 generations is outstanding. Passing down through each generation and then on top of that, coming up with even better ways with the ingredients for the steel to bring us an even better product. Blows my mind. I love my Hattori knife. Just love it ..thank you xox
Great shop
Bought several times from this store. Excellent quality and very fast delivery. All knives correspond to the description and are very sharp. I recommend!
I’ve bought a number of knives here and highly recommend them
I’ve bought a Fujiwara Kanefusa FKJ series Kurouchi Wa Santoku (165mm) and a JCK Original Kagayaki VG-10 Wa Gyuto, extra sharp (240mm). I’ve also bought magnolia wood saya for both knives. These are easily the best knives I’ve ever possessed; after nearly two months of daily use, neither has lost its original sharpness. They make slicing vegetables and meat a joy. They arrived 3 days after ordering via DHL, tracked all the way, and were very well packaged. I’ve also bought their excellent sharpening stones, which are similarly of a higher quality than my other stones (I have 5 grades from #1000 up to #10000 and a leather strop). I would acknowledge that sharpening these knives is an art in itself—indeed, a beginner may appreciate the assistance of a device that holds the knife at the correct angle. These knives, along with the knives at JapaneseKnifeDirect.com, are works of art and need to be treated with the respect they deserve.

I have been ordering my high end knives…
I have been ordering my high end knives from Japanesechefsknife web site for almost 10 years. The number one reason is that those knives are produced by highly reputable knives smiths of Japan, and the quality and finishing are not compromised. Though the pricing may be a bit high, but the products reliability is top grade and dependable. Overall, no regret so far with all the knives I have bought, and will continuse to buy in future. Keep it up, JCK.
