Just the most appalling after service!

Just the most appalling after service!! Bought a table and 4 chairs,first box open both chairs damaged so didn't open anything else. Rang next day to organise a return 4 emails and 6 yes 6 calls later we still have the huge boxes in our tiny old people's flat!!!
4 staff have more of less called me a liar about replying to their emails,I replied within minutes. The distress this has called us is intolerable. This company STILL alsohave our £320!! We can't cope with this stress,were pensioners and can't believe we are being treated this way. PLEASE I beg you AVOID JDwilliams!!

New trainers vanished by EVRI ordered…

New trainers vanished by EVRI ordered next day and 4 days later no trainers still - cannot even get a reply from Evri or JD Williams to get a refund or find where - suspect they have been stolen !!!!!!! DO NOT USE EVRI THEY ARE LIARS say tried to deliver at 9.41 am and building locked but doors wide open at work and 50 people in building and that day i was on reception lies lies lies from EVRI

Terrible experience - avoid!

Like a few reviews on here goods arrived damaged. First they said it was the couriers fault then they said they would refund. Three weeks in and we are still in a tussle. Courier to pick up not coming when JD Williams said they would and very unhelpful customer service from Kautha. Apparently unable to provide supervisors details because of GDPR.

Disappointed would be generous…

I placed an order for a leaner mirror after being bombarded by ads. It was a good price - if only the mirror existed.

After emails, chats and phone calls chasing it, I was promised it was out for delivery on delivery day despite zero communication from this company.

Three days later still nothing had arrived - next I knew I’d been refunded with no communication whatsoever. Order still says it’s being delivered but I assume it won’t be. This company don’t engage in any form of communication, they never deviate from a script that’s not fit for purpose and you don’t get the product you’ve ordered. I wish I’d read all the reviews before ordering - I would have avoided and purchased elsewhere.

Avoid at all costs.

Trying to return an item using the…

Trying to return an item using the customer service help desk. While the agents are perfectly pleasant they are incapable of thinking outside of the box. I’ve spent nearly 10 days trying to return a dress. They added the wrong item to the return and I don’t seem to be able to make them understand that the wrong item has been added. There’s a big price difference between the item I’m returning and the item they have listed so it needs sorting. Each agent I’ve messaged with says the same thing, arranges the return, says they’re sorry for the inconvenience, then leaves the conversation leaving me no further forward.
Very frustrated, have spent hours trying to sort this out. Now waiting for a email to tell me what to do next.
Very poor service.

Got a letter from this computer informing me I have set up a credit agreement for £1250. I've never heard of this company before so someone's set it up as a scam. They're definitely not doing due diligence

Shockingly bad

Shockingly bad. Orders are constantly cancelled citing stock issues however order email that it sent clearly says “instock”.

Customer service repeats from a script and no real way of contacting anyone. Even more shockingly is they send a letter to apologise for having no stock on the item you order that was most definitely in stock as items not in stock are not able to check out.

Pathetic company

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!

I ordered an item from this company paid extra for next day delivery which did not turn up. Contacted them the did not apologise at all and just said I should read terms and conditions in relation to delivery. They told me it would be 3-5 days delivery.
I am now on day 7 and suprise still no parcel
I contacted them again to and they said it would be delivered today. Now bearing in mind I have been told this every day and still no parcel.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY REALLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS ONLY ABOUT PROFITS.

My first and last order with JD Williams.

I ordered a bundle of Wham Crystal storage boxes. The lids for the four 80L boxes arrived cracked and broken, although the containers themselves were undamaged.

What should have been a straightforward damaged goods claim turned into an extremely frustrating experience. I spent around an hour on live chat, repeatedly providing the same information, being asked the same questions, and receiving the same scripted responses. One chat session was even closed while I was actively responding.

I explained multiple times that only the lids were damaged and asked for replacement lids. Instead, I was repeatedly told that the only solution was to return the items. No practical alternative was considered.

What I found particularly disappointing was the complete lack of common sense. The issue was four damaged plastic lids. Rather than sending replacement lids, JD Williams’ solution was to arrange for four large 80L storage boxes to be transported back, and for me to order replacements. This creates unnecessary inconvenience, unnecessary packaging and unnecessary transport emissions, all because nobody was willing or able to supply four replacement lids.

I also sent a complaint email on Wednesday and, by Friday evening, had still received no response.

In the end, I have arranged for the four 80L boxes to be collected and returned, while keeping the undamaged 60L boxes. I’ve already ordered replacements elsewhere because I no longer have confidence that this issue will be resolved sensibly.

Mistakes happen and damaged goods can occur in transit. What disappointed me was the way the issue was handled afterwards.

Based on this experience, I won’t be shopping with JD Williams again.

Bot protection is nonexistent. Get an alert to say something is back in stock, go to site and add it to basket, website starts crashing and giving errors, have to log in EVERY TIME as it logs you out if you’re absent for a couple of minutes, wait for a text to come through, then item is out of stock. Just awful. Happens every time. Been trying to buy Pokemon products for what feels like six or seven months and have been successful zero times because they’re unwilling to do anything about bots. They get their money and they don’t care if it’s to resellers or people breaking their TOS.

Ordered a keter bbq table and it came…

Ordered a keter bbq table and it came with missing parts.

Got lied to three times by the customer service team about sending replacements first it was 3 to 5 days then it was ten days then they said they never sent it and then after I asked for a total replacement they said they would be in touch to arrange delivery.

All lies , they had done nothing and I was getting closer to my refund deadline so I had to refund.

Will never give them a penny ever again, easily the worst aftercare I've ever experienced.

Absolutely terrible!!

Absolutely terrible rip off merchants!!
I ordered some trousers as a first time customer that we're applicable for 25% off using code SAVE25. I queried this 3 times with different customers agents who said the discount is manually applied on dispatch. I have the received the trousers and surprise surprise the discount has not been applied despite being told by there complaints department my account would be adjusted within 24 hours!
Absolutely disgusting company avoid at all costs!!

Been with them 10 years spent loads with turn have good credit yet they charge me 74.9% apr don’t answer my complaints they’re as bad as loan sharks I’d avoid them paying them off reported them ti financial ombudsman and can’t wait to see the back of them

These are a horrible company my payment of a balance of £77.73 was two days late as my husband was in hospital on critical care and they registered it on credit reference agency no letters and now paid the full balance off stay clear of these in human robbing people will never shop with them again and would never recommend them .customer service is shocking also
