I was paying them what I could afford…
I was paying them what I could afford they seemed to be happy with the payment arrangement . Then out if the blue I can't access my account to make payments direct to them anymore. No warning call or letter they knew my situation . I googled it seems they may have sold my debt to debt collection agency. So wrong as I was paying them had an arrangement they just couldn't wait or be bothered to call me to ask if I was now in a situation to pay more . My mental health is not good and they knew this . I doubt if they have sold on my debt it was for a lot less that what I owed them. The last payment I made in March tried to pay in April account closed. They was happy to take my payment in March . I don't need or want the stress of debt collectors my anxiety is bad enough as it is . Avoid
I haven't received my order it's been two weeks! I need my money back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Table arrived smashed to pieces. Took forever to talk to a representative who, eventually, organised a collection the next day. They forgot to put my house number in so Yodel couldn’t collect. Another half an hour talking to another representative who took that long just to tell me I had to wait a week for another collection. So that’s 2 days unpaid from work, no table, no refund so I can’t buy another table and no compensation whatsoever. I will never buy from this company again. Awful customer service and goods

Made an order on the site that went through fine, than as soon as I complete the order I go to my account and check the order and lo behold the order has been cancelled immediately but they have taken payment from me, guess I won't be seeing that until 5 working days later. Yeah id avoid this scam site from now on.

My experience has been wholly positive. I’ve had some lovely furniture from them. Delivery price is very reasonable.
I’ve had to send something back and it was easy to contact customer services and the return was as easy as could be.
Had to contact customer services about another issue and they replied promptly and resolved the issue.
Since the company was taken over
Since the company was taken over, I have noticed a vast difference and not in a good way. Their website is awful and difficult to navigate. They hardly ever have sales whereas before, it was a regular thing. Always out of stock of certain sizes. Also, they are really expensive now. They need to get back to basics and how they were before they were taken over in 2025. I hardly buy from them now.

I think they probably sell a lot of things I would be interested to buy but sadly it is impossible to navigate their website ... you can spend about half an hour trying to click on an option .. in the end you just give up, don't have this problem with any other website except Simply Be which is the same company.
Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. Used chat which is just a cut and paste answers exercise. Evri have lost my parcel, I have an email from them confirming. JD Williams insist on waiting until 5 days,working days or consecuting days depends who you speak too before looking into a "possible " refund. Evri have notified them but will not do anything until they deem enough time has passed. They will then escalate to look into it. Constant delaying tactics to ensure they keep your money as long as possible. What is there to look into,Evri confirm they have lost it!
Nightmare to deal with so I will be closing my account, not that they will be bothered as customers seem to be an inconvenience .0 Stars should be possible
Absolutely hopeless customer service…
Absolutely hopeless customer service from Robyn-Leigh Viegeland. I have a product bought as a wedding present that i required a copy of the instruction manual as i had misplaced is during a house move.
It was almost robot like customer support despite being a live agent...'give me your account number' - it was a gift and i only wanted the pdf of the instruction manual... any question i met they weren't able to give me an answer and then i was cut off while in the middle of writing a message.
I shall definitely not be ordering from this company in the future if this is the after sales and cannot send a simple product PDF without all these details required!
Theve been scammed and blame me
In 2024, they have been scammed by delivering something to an address I moved out of 5 years ago in 2021. The now set ACI debt collectors on me despite having no evidence so its clear they do not check that an identity is valid and are an untrutworthy company. Use at your peril. UPDATE I raise a complaint but they continue to bully so can only advise everyone to both report to the Ombudsman and seek legal help
This company are so terrible
This company are so terrible . The chat agents , the speaking agents and so called higher agents. Very rude disrespectful very big egos . They do not want to listen to the problem only shout at you , that you are wrong and listen ! Seems I upset someone , now vengeance is sending me txts, emails , changing my account statements . I wonder what sort of company they are . Small office big egos syndrome ! No social skills no manners - nothing ! I do not want any letters or txts from JD Williams ever again . I hope they go out of business very soon
