Rubbish
If I could give no stars, I would!! I set up a direct debit to pay 5 days before it's due, yet this company puts charges onto my account so it never goes down! Avoid at all costs!!!!

Website aweful and slow, crashes all the time with gateway timeout. No idea why it crashes feels like someone is intercepting the data.
Avoid Scammers
ordered an Item on my account, the order was approved and dispatched. Item demanded back by them from Evri before it could be delivered. I asked why this happened over the web chat, and they did not know, but within minutes of me complaining, my credit limit was wiped, and all orders cancelled, no explanation, and full account balance payment demanded in 21 Days

Inadequate Site and Inadequate Associates
I order items from them and they continuously cancel due to no stock availability. They need to stop offering the items if they don't have them. I've entered chats to discuss this but the chatters are reluctant to respond to my conversations/statements and time me out after seconds because they are either unable to communicate or unable to answer me. It is frustrating as I just want my money back and to never to use this site again. Absolutely useless. They've cancel everything and hold funds for about 5 days before returning them - No point in buying as they just hold your money for 5 days. Do not use.
Avoid buying anything from this company
I ordered 2 wardrobes from JD Williams, they were delivered promptly, however they sent the wrong colour wardrobes.
I contacted them immediately to let them know of their error.
It is now two weeks after delivery and I still have no idea when I will be getting the wardrobes I actually ordered - their customer service department is atrocious - I have been on the phone to them almost daily and I have received no update as to when I will receive my wardrobes.
I am consistently told to wait 3 working days for a response to every email I send, and then when they reply with a vague question, I am then expected to wait another 3 working days for a response to my answer - it's infuriating!
Honestly, if you can, avoid this company like the plague.
Impossible to arrange to return items
It has been horrendously difficult to arrange a return - in spite of their communications that indicate it is very simple.
Their links don’t seem to work and completely fail to recognise my order number. Impossible to speak to a human being too so l have still been unable to organise a return

Completed Credit Check without Permission
The company mysteriously cancelled an order. I then received a letter two weeks later and rung them to discover a credit check was carried out , in spite of my paying for the item by debit card in full. I made a complaint and attached a photo of correspondence from them. In spite of this, they emailed me back to request identifying information before they would respond to the complaint. I will not provide them with any further information nor make another purchase from them.

Awful experience using jdwilliams. The quality of items is poor, customer service is awful, dont even bother complaining because they investigate themselves so wont uphold a complaint and they trap you with credit apr, starts off ok then bam 66.4%, if you end up struggling to pay and speak with them they dont care, wish i never opened an account with them and warn anyone who does.

beware three times now I have had accounts activated in my name and the only way I found out was from a clearscore notification, I have asked then to never open an account in my name as I don't wear their sort of clothes

Horrendous experience and customer service - ordered 3 items, payment was taken, and had all items cancelled and not one single email to inform me. It was only that I knew others had had their items cancelled that I thought to check. Outrageous behaviour from a renowned company.

They casually break the UK law by refusing to refund standard delivery on orders that are returned in full within the 14 day cooling off period. I made sure I paid for standard delivery rather than their "express" one which was the same price as saw through that trick. Called them and a rather rude person on the line swore blind they were in their rights not to do such a refund. They are wrong and, presumably, try to trick all their customers into thinking this. Read the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013!!! Disputed with credit card. If that doesn't work will take a small claim out against the cheats! Only 3.99 but it's the principle. Spread the word - this company cheats it's customers!

if i could give these scammers a worse score i would, since making an account with jdwilliams, i have placed 3 orders, they take payment, and within 5 seconds of placing the order, the order has been cancelled because they were selling out of stock items. so i'm left without my money for over a week while they refund it, and i got nothing but frustration and a copy and pasted message from there support, thats when they reply, because other times they didn't even do that. absolute scam of an outfit and i will never place an order with them again, shame on me for trusting them a third time.
Extremely disappointed
Extremely disappointed, ordered a few jellycats that were in stock, waited, got confirmation and tracking details. Ordered 2nd April, was waiting for evri to get them, then go back onto the website today (7th april) to find they have cancelled my order, saw online this has happened to almost everyone's jellycat orders. Now have to wait 10 days for a refund is ridiculous, especially since I havent received an email with the cancellation. Will not be using again.
Unacceptable service
I ordered three Jellycats from JD Williams and received a text saying Evri were expecting the parcel. After seeing online that other people’s orders were being cancelled, I checked my account and discovered mine had been cancelled too! If I hadn’t checked, I’d have had no idea. Really poor service - absolutely unacceptable.
Beware when placing orders
Struggled to log into my account so called their helpline number for support, was advised the account had been closed so made it clear wanted to open a new credit account if that was the case, spent around 40 minutes on phone to open account then placing an order, was asked to make payment when realised the advisor had opened a cash account. Explained again I wanted a credit account and said oh can only do that online so waste of phone call. Opened new account online and placed order, received order confirmation and tracking for evri but after no movement thought id check my account, my order had been cancelled without any acknowledgement. Contacted live chat to close both my credit and cash account as after had seen other reviews where this isn’t just an isolated case. Seems like JD Williams offer stock they don’t actually have to get peoples money which is wrong to make their accounts look good
Cancelled an order of of six items and sent no communication
Done I pretty big order and had been waiting to hear an update as all 6 items were being shipped separately? Anyway I check on my account to see all 6 items have been cancelled with no explanation. I had to contact the live chat to be told the supplier currently has no stock. Now have to wait 3-5 days for a refund. Not impressed I’d completely avoid looking at the other reviews.
