I would not recommend this company at…

I would not recommend this company at all! Hang on to your money and spend it elsewhere! The only fast action they took with my order, was to take my money! My initial order allegedly did not go through properly and I was asked to resend it via email. I did this but days later, my order is still not showing under my account and I have received no reply whatsoever to several emails chasing it. Now I have requested them to cancel my order and to refund me in full. I will not hold my breath for that! Shocking, disgraceful service! Bryn King

Ordered trailing begonia plants on 24th…

Ordered trailing begonia plants on 24th March. Chased them via their website form on the 28th March for a delivery date with no response. Can't get a reply on the phone - not surprising as it's the same number for Gardening Direct which I now find is linked to Jersey Plants (can't get my plants from Gardening Direct either). Have just chased them again but with no expectation of getting a response. Would not order from this company again. Order no. 1208761.

Jerseyplants.com and Gardeningdirect.co.uk

This company is linked to gardeningdirect.co.uk. I Placed an on line order, paid by credit card to CityPay.com only to find that when I rechecked the gardening direct.co.uk site there was no trace of my order. I sent an email to gardening direct.co.uk and rang the phone number which was always engaged. I researched the company and found that it is linked to jersey plants.com I sent an email to that company copying in gardening direct.com. I received a duplicate email from both companies pointing me to an identical form for complaints The only difference was another phone number, which is permanently engaged.
I am concerned that there may either be genuine issues with the web site or there is a possibility of fraud. I will allow 7 days before looking at the fraud route.
Everyone is busy but the web site blames Covid-19 for issues. From past reviews it seems like issues were there before Covid-19.

Disappointment

I have used Jersey Plants Direct before and was very satisfied, so keen to use them again.
So keen in fact, that I waited 30 minutes on hold to get through to an agent to place my order.
Having placed my, large, order I was given a total far more than anticipated.
Part of my order was for three hanging baskets priced, according to catalogue, at "13-49 when you buy two".
I was being charged 16-99.
This was because "I had the wrong catalogue"...No, I have just been sent it this week by JD.
After some prompting, this was changed to "You have to buy two, and they need to be the same."
No, bad advertising and order cancelled. I shall not use again.

Think i must have ordered from a…

Think i must have ordered from a different company sfter reading some of these (rude)reviews. Have ordered more than1000 plants each year for at least three years. They always arrive in pristine condition, well packed. No problem with customer sevice.with proper care they blossom into super healthy plants. Out of approx1400 last year i lost less than five plants Thank you

I am so disappointed at the shoddy…

I am so disappointed at the shoddy customer service offered today by the staff after spending over £50.00 on plants that I was told to bed out in my garden in September by them . The plants have not survived . I was told by the supervisor “ why did I buy plants that would flower in the winter if I wasn’t going to look after them ?”.
I explained that they were delphiniums that we’re not due to flower till the spring onwards and as I had had 2 hip replacements was not going outside gardening over the winter months . He was quite unhelpful stating that the 30 day money back guarantee was out of time . I asked how the 30 day money back guarantee works over the winter when plants aren’t growing and he just said he couldn’t do anything as it was too late for the plants now . Having just been online and looked I see the very plants I ordered are still for sale . I might as well have put the £52.97 down the drain . I was a frequent buyer and in fact have a pending order for bedding plants with Jersey Plants Direct but it will be my last order with them as I feel I can’t trust either their customer service advice , aftercare or quality of plants

I have subsequently had my summer bedding order cancelled by the company and asked to source my plants elsewhere . Unbelievable!

My account with them has also been blocked or deleted I don’t know which . All because I complained that my £52.97 worth of plants have died . What a way to treat a customer !

Totally disappointed and a waste of money

Have bought from Jersey Direct previously and have been quite happy with the products, however I’m totally disappointed with the 72 Jumbo Pansy ordered 2/11/19.
Arrived just under two weeks later and planted out straight away. As of 2/2/20 the plants have hardly grown and out of 72 plants only 5 have piddling little flower heads. Should have bought fewer better quality plants from my local garden centre!

Useless company, useless delivery service

Very poor experience with this dodgy company.
Misadvertised overpriced plants, uses useless couriers YODEL, so parcels either don't turn up or arrive battered, with the contents detroyed, slow disjointed delivery times so things can't be planted together. Rude arrogant snidey staff who couldn't care less. Top tip, support a local gardner, independent flower shop or local garden centre - at least you will know what you are getting, and for less money as well.

Busy lizzies waterfall

Busy lizzies waterfall - 45 plug plants.
Very happy with these plants which I planted out in wall baskets mid May. Now end of July and the flowers are profuse just as shown in the picture. I put five plants in each basket and I am delighted I bought them.

Very disappointed

Ordered two hanging baskets, arrived nine days after ordering which is good service. They were purchased as a surprise gift for my Mum, they were delivered yesterday and the only comment I have is very disappointed and totally embarrassed; just ONE spindly geranium plant in one basket and two in the other basket. Sorry folks, don't think I will be purchasing from you again.

Update 02/08/2019 - Jersey Plants Direct responded by email with apology and full refund (thank you Jersey Plants Direct).

Very poor quality hanging baskets

I am so disappointed with the hanging baskets I received today. They were broken, the soil was bone dry, the hydration things were not bedded into the soil. The one spindly, leggy plant in each basket was not even centred in the basket. The fact that there was only one plant in each basket and not a selection was not great either. I so t be buying from Jersey plants again.

Do not buy from these scammers

Do not buy from these scammers there not large plants the roots were rotting as soon as I unpacked them they've reused a refund and blocked me on there Facebook site so I'm reporting them to trading standards they just emailed me saying I'm threatening them and there going yo share them not threatened them stated a fact more like they should send out what you pay for I have no intention to answering your emails, my colleague Lee has blocked you on Facebook due to your rude manners that's the rude email they just sent me

Time wasters!

Have been told today, I am not a customer? Been a very regular and high spending customer for years. But when I gave them the order number they found me? Order place 10th April, on their website said it was ready for dispatch on 3rd May, mid May I rang to be told it was not ready, but would be dispatched by end of May. Today 19th June told the goods no longer available. Offered any other goods to the value of my order. Enough! They have got worse in recent years, standards have slipped. Asked for full refund and have closed my account. Such a pity and their standard of plants have declined too! I wouldn't bother ordering from them

Terrible Experience

Don't buy from this company if you live in the UK! 17 emails backward and forwards to them to correct my address and after 2.1/2 months I eventually got my order which was for over a £100! Disgraceful and customer service was abysmal throughout. Don't waste your time or money on them.

Daylight robbery

Made my hanging basket order on 21.04.19 and still not arrived. Emailed and was told mid May. I have now sent 2 further emails in the past 2 weeks which have been ignored. The last email requesting a refund if not here by next week. No response and no refund. Feel like they have stolen my money!! Never again

My first order arrived 2 weeks before I arrived back of holiday after leaving details of my arrival back home, so upon opening x2 packs they were dead ! Replacement plants sent but they could not even get order correct sending x2 boxes of same plant when I confirmed over phone requested my original order! So now waiting for another box to arrive so can complete summer bedding.
Will not make any more orders

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service.
Plants arrived damaged.
I tried to contact several people but had no luck with replies.
Their website doesn't give much information about complaints & who to contact.
After 2 months, I still haven't had a refund.
They are quick enough to take yr money !!

Good service for many years

I have been using Jersey Plants Direct for many years now for my Hanging Basket service I provide. The overall quality is good but due to the age and size of the plugs quite a few do not survive hence why they give you so many extra free.

The main problem, which is the same problem that all the plants by post sellers suffer from is the postal service which is out of the sellers hands and I know only too well having worked for a parcel firm and the post office, how packages are thrown around, bashed and often forgotten.

Of late there have been many issues with Jersey Plants website which are still ongoing today but what I would say is that most of the reviews I have read are misleading, untrue or just a one of case of bad luck. Customer service is fantastic and unlike most companies, you are not left waiting in queues for hours and every time I have rang I have been answered within a minute. The one down side is the call does not come under your allotted minutes via mobile and can be expensive, (need to address this Jersey Plants).

I live in Cheshire and as mentioned would recommend Jersey Plants to anybody, I buy plants by the hundreds and as I know what I am buying I don't have a problem with labels, every box you get has the plant type clearly printed on it. From experience on the web, if a page says payment problem or freezes check with the seller first as this can nearly always lead to multiple purchases if you keep trying. Lastly take reviews as just that. there are many companies who will deliberately insert false and misleading reviews just to put people off in hope that they gain your custom.

I have used Jersey Plants for the best part of tens years, never been charged twice, never had plants delivered that were not ordered, never had a box delivered without the product printed on it but I have had items damaged in transit, its the nature of the beast, having to rely on other people many of whom just don't care.

For bulk order plug plants there is no better supplier in the whole of the UK, no better value in the UK and almost no better customer service and yes unlike many companies these days they are in the UK not Kevin from Bangladesh. Jersey, believe it or not people is in the UK.
