"FRAUD ALERT"

I tried to buy online, when it got to payment the site let me put all my details in then at the end of the transaction there is a page that comes up telling you it did not work "Page missing"?
so I tried again the same order for a total of £8.99 same thing again. The payment page is' CityPay Paylink on behalf of Jersey Plants Direct Web.'
Then I checked my emails confirming 2 payments of £8.99 with all the transaction details. I then checked my Bank account Both payments had been taken and put in my pending transactions.
So I telephoned Jersy plants who are now saying via email that they have no orders from me and can not find any transactions??? I'm still trying to get full refund. They are not a company to trust!! "FRAUD ALERT" ....The order was for pepper colection...

Almost never ordered due to the awful…

Almost never ordered due to the awful reviews here so thought I'd post my experience that may help others.
Really pleased with the plants and a great price. You've got to be patient though. Just because they are available for dispatch it doesn't mean they will be, it could take weeks. It also takes weeks to get a response to emails. If the dispatch schedule was made more clear when ordering then I would have given 5 stars.

Poor service

I ordered two hanging baskets in March... despite two emails they haven’t been despatched. Customer service unhelpful. I have requested a refund which is going to be sent by cheque??

Find an alternative supplier.

Plants not labelled

I ordered a lot of plug plants which arrived without warning but the big problem is none of them are labelled. Rung customer service and spoke to a very unhelpful sarcastic chap who suggested I take photos and send them for identification but you can’t upload photos on their customer enquiries page. Rang again to ask for help to be told when they grow you’ll find out what they are! Last time I order from them as the cost of phoning them is more than the cost of the plants. They use Yodel for delivery who are next to useless and just throw the boxes over the gate! Very disappointed and won’t use again!

missleading web site

Hi I have just had my mystery plants delivered .they have sent me coleus that is decorative foliage plant .I have just phoned them 1.o5pm 8/5/19 to say that I am very disappointed being sent these I said the mystery plants on their web site shows six lots of nice bedding plants they said they were only an example of what they send it does not say this .I told the person I spoke to that I will be putting them in the bin and going on line he just said if that's what you feel you must do very rude response never again will I use jersey direct very very poor

Is it a scam?? do they exist?

I'm beginning to think this is a scam ordered plants a month ago money taken straight away apart from auto responses no replies from my use of their forms phone calls from the UK would cost a fortune and they obviously know it

I should have taken notice of the BAD…

I should have taken notice of the BAD BAD reviews and not used this plant grower.My order arrived on the 20th April.All 4 boxes of flowers should have been Pansy CanCan, instead box 1 was stamped Dahlia,box 2 French marigolds, box 3 hydrangeas and box 4 viola tricolor.The entire order wrong.The online complaints form does not work and phone calls to Jersey from the UK mainland are 50p per minute.PLEASE do not order from them

Used for many years but last year…

Used for many years but last year received dead plants (acceptable given that the weather was so hot) but their online form is terrible. I ordered plants a month ago and tried to go online to contact them to see why they are so late arriving. i used the online form. Everything is correct on the form but it won't work. Very frustrating. Will be going elsewhere. It doesn't help that they don't have opening hours next to heir tel number either!

No problems

I've been ordering plants since 2008 mainly for my ten hanging and wall baskets and never had any problems. Last year I ordered 3 Clematis plants but after a few weeks, they all died. I did nothing different from planting other Clematises in the past. Anyway, I sent them an email saying what had happened and they sent me a voucher to use on my next purchase. 10/10

Terrible Service

10 days to put a gift voucher in the post and still waiting. Emailed them and the response was "Its in the post". No option for vouchers via email, terrible website that was really clunky to use. All round bad experience. Now no Christmas present for the parents.

I placed my order in September for 8…

I placed my order in September for 8 baskets. 2 arrived in Nov and were ok. The next 2 arrived and were very distressed and died. Another 2 arrived and again were ok. Not great but ok. I finally enquired about the last 2 and complained about the dead ones. I eventually received a refund for 2 baskets after several emails. I have repeatedly requested delivery of the final 2 or a refund but my emails go unanswered.

Fairly good, some items seems expensive for what I received

I order regularly from this supplier. Having worked in the nursery trade for many years I know the plants are usually fairly good and while the price is quite high for what are described as jumbo but are really just plugs, they are about the best prices available on a retail basis (especially if you watch your email and wait for the offers).
I tend to stick to perennial plants as much of the bedding arrives stretched and leggy. The pansy and bellis plants this year were a fail for me, yet the viola did well.
I will order again but will be careful what I order - if I can raise things from seed I know they will often do better.

Really awful company.

Really awful company.
I entered into a contract for them to supply 12 Carnation Can Can jumbo plug plants but they said they were delivered but I never received them. Said they were now out of stock and so just offered me a refund.

Also ordered 70 Lucky Dip Autumn Ready Bedding Plants plug plants which were pansies. They were so small it is laughable and are taking a long time to grow despite me planting them in the ground a day after receiving them.
I will never order from Jersey Direct again. I would rather pay more and see what I am getting.

Quite disappointed with the quality…

Quite disappointed with the quality this year, bought hanging baskets in both the summer and autumn. Very sparse, with only four plants per basket. I also asked for a delivery date which could not be confirmed. Iwas assured that my order would not be dispatched until the 20/10/18. They were dispatched on the 15/10/18, when no one was available to take delivery

THIS COMPANY IS SO BAD IT SHOULD BE BANNED FROM PRESS ADVERTISING

Order number 1062254 if they want to check.
I rarely review anything unless it is either very very good or very very bad.
Several weeks after ordering and with no contact whatsoever i return to find a battered box on my doorstep in the sun for the best part of 2 days.No email to say on the way,and find half my order.Well as i paid for garden ready plants i cannot even say half my order as i got tiny dead plug plants.
Email my concerns and get a reply 48 hrs later telling me they cannot replace and have cancelled the rest of my order.
Weeks later and no plants,very poor customer service and what is worse is they use YODEL.you have seen the press,THE WORST DELIVERY COMPANY EVER.
Those full page colour ads in the press should be banned as misleading.Basically a scam to get as many orders as possible and hope some do not complain or ask for refunds.
Spend a little more at your local Garden Centre,This company will waste your time and money and you will end up going to the garden centre to get what you do not get from this bucketshop internet mob.

Was really concerned reading everyone…

Was really concerned reading everyone else's seemingly horrific experiences- I must say I am happy to report the 2 (of the 3 I ordered) boxes of Polyanthus plugs have arrived today, very well packaged, boxed and sturdy outer with bubblewrap inner- all the plants look really healthy and green- I am very pleased! (Presuming when third pack dispatched will be same thing) *UPDATE 3rd pack arrived all green and healthy and again, well packaged.

Phew!

Dead hanging baskets !

Ordered 4 pre planted hanging baskets from jersey plants . When they arrived the courier left the box at the front door stood on end .
On opening they were half dead and plants missing . I telephoned was told to send pictures which I did , no response so I telephoned again and was asked to resend photos . I have emailed several times .
I did get an email asking if I wanted replacements . No .i
I have asked to have them collected .
I have sent messages via their message board and emails . No response .
There customer service is appalling .
This was last chance as I have been let down before .

If I had written this review a month…

If I had written this review a month ago, this would have been a completely different and wholly inaccurate review. So i'm glad I waited.
My hanging baskets arrived in good time, and well packaged. However upon taking them out of their box, they appeared to be on their last legs. Yellowing. Withered looking. No flowers.
I put them outside for a few weeks to see how they fared, nothing doing. The flowers seemed to be reluctant to bloom, the greenery to pick up. Then BOOM, all of a sudden (maybe I didn't pay attention for a few days) they bloomed, and haven't stopped blooming since. Beautiful and worth the money!

I have ordered quite a lot of plants…

I have ordered quite a lot of plants from this company this year. Although small, most of the plants have been very healthy and established well and quickly. Only one order arrived in poor condition (marigolds baked to death in that hot weather) but I emailed customer services and got a refund without a quibble.
