We used Jet Pets to move 2 dogs and 1 cat from Brisbane to Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) in May 2025.

From start to finish the company were fantastic to deal with and made an anxious time much easier to cope with.

In preparation for relocation we were given a personal contact (Rachel was ours), and we were able to communicate directly with her. Any questions we had, she was able to get back to and assist as needed.

Jet pets arranged all the paperwork, and their vets carried out all the vaccinations and health checks that were required.

We were able to have a loan of a large dog crate for our house to get the dogs crate trained prior to their trip on the aircraft. We had the crate for around two and a half months, and didn’t get charged anything for the loan.

Because of the breed of dogs we have, they needed special wooden crates, which were then ours once our trip was completed. The cat had a plastic crate, but that was also ours to keep at the end!

We only had confirmation of the date of travel for the animals around 4 weeks before the date they were flying (this was due to the airlines not confirming rather than Jet pets - this is quite normal apparently). I found this a little stressful as we had booked our flights to coincide, but I was assured by Rachel that it was unlikely that the animals wouldn’t be able to fly on the chosen date. She assured me that if there was a problem flying from Brisbane on the chosen date, they would get on a flight from Sydney at Jet Pets expense. In the end there was no issue and they flew on the date we had chosen for them.

I was quite anxious when the day came for them to fly, we were originally going to drop them off at the depot ourselves, but made a change of plan the day before and asked if they could be picked up at our house - no problem, and no cost for this late change of plan!

They were picked up at 8am for a 10pm flight, the dog handler was great in our house, and made us feel at ease when she met with the dogs and cat. They were taken for their final checks and settled into the lounge until time to go for their flight.

We were kept updated with text and email messages with photos at different stages of their trip. They flew with Qatar airlines and had a 24hr comfort stop in Doha…again, we got more photos and updates via email.

We flew into Edinburgh from Doha on the same flight the following day, and after only around 2 and a half hours from arrival, received a message to say they were ready for collection!

All the paperwork was completed by Jet Pets - no issues whatsoever!

The animal handlers at Edinburgh were also fantastic, very friendly and obviously cared about the animals they were looking after.

All in all it was a great experience and I would 100% use them again if needed.

We recently moved our two cats from Melbourne to Abu Dhabi with Jet Pets, and they were absolutely fantastic. From the preparation months in advance, handling paperwork and vaccinations, to patiently answering our thousands of questions, their professionalism and care were outstanding.

Their pricing was reasonable, moving pets internationally is never cheap, and while we could have saved by doing it ourselves, it simply wouldn’t have been worth the stress. Jet Pets took excellent care of our pets every step of the way.

I hope we don’t need their services again anytime soon (fingers crossed), but if we do, I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. Highly recommend! Thank you, Jet Pets!

My dearest Fletchie passed away 2 days after he arrived in Hanoi from Melbourne. The vet couldn't tell specifically why he passed away but his temperature was low and he had difficulty breathing before he passed away. I've been devastated since Fletchie to me has never been a pet but my soul mate, my son and my best companion.

I'm not trying to blame Fletchie's sudden death on Jetpet but I was so anxious throughout the process since Fletchie was picked up early morning. Our flight was at night time and for the whole day I only received one email of update and only 1 picture of him in the cage at the airport and I could barely see him in the picture since it was so dark. I constantly had to ask for the update throughout the day and wanted some pictures from them but nothing was sent.

When I arrived in Hanoi, I had to wait for 3 hours and was supposed to pick him up outside the airport. I was so frustated that they finally agreed to bring him to the airport.

I spent nearly 5k on his transportation. But the whole process was frustrating and the service definitely does not reflect the cost! And at the end my dearest friend is no longer with me.
Please consider carefully when you decide to transport your pet through cargo.

Thanks to Mick and the rest of the team for such a great job looking after our little munchkin Oscar on his recent big move from Sydney to Legana, TAS. We could not have asked for a better, more caring and professional service.

To receive regular updates on how Biggles was travelling and peace of mind that all his paperwork was organised for his departure and arrival. Angus & Chloe were brilliant answering all my questions and Biggles arrived safe and sound and took the whole journey in his stride. I highly recommend Jetpets!

We used Jetpets (together with another company) to move our fluffy dog (Loki) from Italy to Australia.
The whole team (Jordi in particular) took great care of us, and Loki, and guided us throughout the process in a very professional way.
We´ll definitely use them again if needed. Totally recommended.
Loki arrived home safely and was in great shape!

I used Jetpets to bring my cat from Brisbane to Hobart with me.

The booking process was very approchable. The consultant answered all of my concerns and booked my cat onto a flight at a good time of the day.

Drop-off was very easy, and pickup was also very easy. My cat of course was disgruntled about the whole ordeal, but I could see that the Jetpets people did everything possible to make it as comfortable as possible for him.

I would definitely use this service again.

It was a great experience relocating my cat Luna from Melbourne to London. It was quite short notice, but Yi walked me through the process and made everything so easy to understand. I was especially nervous because I was already in the UK so relying on others was super important, but the team was so understanding and made sure everything went smoothly.

Any questions I had were quickly and easily answered, and working with them made me sure that Luna would be ok!

Jordi at JetPets was great in organising our dog’s (Riley’s) pick-up from quarantine in Melbourne and then flight to Perth! We received pictures of Riley from Claudia who collected him from quarantine, playing in their office! This was such a nice touch and made us feel a lot less stressed.

We had 3x cats and 1x dog to move between Australia and NZ. Jetpets made this so easy. Everything was professionally managed and communicated. Would highly highly recommend as i have already done so with friends etc

Jetpets was absolutely amazing in relocating my cat Evie from Berlin to Sydney. Every step of the way — from logistics and paperwork to compassionate handling during a few bumps in quarantine — they went above and beyond.

We recently relocated from Australia to the US and used Jetpets to transport our fur family—one dog and three cats. The entire experience was smooth, professional, and reassuring from start to finish.

Our animals stayed overnight at Jetpets’ Sydney facility before their international flight, and we really appreciated the regular updates and photos showing them safe, settled, and well cared for. It gave us real peace of mind during such a big move.

Jetpets have been absolutely incredible to work with on getting our dog Rosa from Western Australia to New Zealand, they went above and beyond when we hit a bump in the road with our dog becoming very ill prior to travelling and were seamless in liaising with the veterinary clinic in order to get everything re-booked and ready in order to get our dog here safely.
The live updates whilst she was travelling were so useful at keeping us at ease.
We cannot recommend them enough, worth every penny!
