Installation team
The first thing to state at the outset is that this company is not a member of the Double Glazing and Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme and they will not help you when you have trouble with this company. They are affiliated with FENSA but FENSA will not cover any conservatory work. So customers only recourse is to Trading Standards or TV consumer programmes or newspaper consumer help such as Daily Express Crusaders. This company operates as the installation team for Zenith Windows. I would also like to see the many, many customers who are suffering at the hands of this company advertise JWD's incompetence on Social Media as much as they can. The company tends to target elderly, vulnerable people and so expect that they won’t fight back too much when they get terrible service.
I have had four previous installations with this company for a garage door, double glazing, fascias and soffits and a porch which all went well. However, I didn’t realise that the company is now under new ownership and frankly their customer service is virtually non-existent and their infra-structure cannot cope with the necessary coordination of different tradesmen that an installation of a conservatory requires.
We were told that the installation of our conservatory would take 2 – 3 weeks. So far we are into our 8th week with no end in sight.
There is no overall project manager who communicates with the customer and the various trades required.
What you have is a team of people in the installation centre who have never been on site and have really no idea of what is required and when.
So instead of having a list of trades in order that they need to be on site they simply book in one trade at a time and when that is reported back to them as completed they book in the next trade – which typically is a few weeks later.
So from the point of view of the customer you get a team arrive and work for a few days and then you have to phone and phone and then you get an appointment for another team to arrive a few weeks later and so it goes on.
In our case when the roof team came to do the glazing they were a piece missing and it took 3 weeks before this missing piece could be ordered and a team found to fit it. Three weeks of water pouring in.
Then the plastering team were booked in three weeks after that and when the day arrived, they didn’t. I waited until the afternoon to be told that the wrong team of plasterers had been booked in as they hadn’t realised the extent of the plastering and now it would be another two weeks before the correct team could come.
But if I hadn’t phoned them --- they would have quite happily let me wait all day for them without letting me know that they were not coming!!
I have sent numerous emails to their customer service department but all they do is send generic emails back saying someone will call you from installation department. Which they don’t – but even if they did --- it wouldn’t help because I am actually trying to inform them that their installation department do not know what they are doing.
When the building team laid the temporary concrete floor they said that a team would be coming to lay floor levelling compound. I have been unable to find out when this is taking place and so for the past 4 weeks we have spent an hour every morning dusting the whole house and hoovering through the entire house because of the dust from the temporary floor.
It pays to take notice of your customers - if you ignore us we can only assume that this is commonplace. If this is an unusual occurrence then your reaction should be one of concern and an immediate resolution should be forthcoming.
Each day that passes leaves me with the feeling that your infrastructure cannot cope.
Crooks
These clowns promised installation within 3 weeks, made me pay all up front, still waiting after 6 months.
Fascias, soffits and gutters
We’ve recently had our fascias, soffits and gutters replaced by plastic items. I had a quote from Zenith and gave them the go ahead. When I got the paperwork I noticed that the job was going to be carried out by a Company called Job Worth Doing. Firstly, I checked with Zenith that theye weren’t sub-contracting the work out to another company. I was told that Job Worth Doign are the installation company for Zenith.
I hadn’t heard of this company so went online to see if I could find out any more about them. I was rather horrified to see quite a lot of comments berating this company and advising not to use them.
I must admit to then having a couple of sleepless nights thinking that I had made the wrong decision to use this company.
The day arrived for the installation and I must say, the reports couldn’t have been more wrong. The two guys, Daryl and Paul were very professional in their approach to the job. They were very courteous and did a very good job. There was one point where they found an error in the original construction of the porch which needed some remedial work and they got over that in a very satisfactory manner.
I have often felt that the only people who post in these sites are the ones who have had a bad experience and you often don’t hear when the job has gone well. I thought I should try to redress the balance and point out that this company can certainly do a good job and that we have few complaints. My only complaint is with the Head Office at Zenith who don’t reply to emails you send them which is why I've knocked off 1 star.

Very pushy rude sale's guy from JobWorthDoing
Very pushy sale's guy, cold calling. basically went straight into his pushy sales talk as soon as I opened the door, saying as the government has to meet its carbon emissions and we are here to make sure they meet their targets!!! He then went on asking how many windows I had and that they would be around later to test them and what time I would be available from tonight (17/07/18). When I told him I wasn't interested. He then became very rude and he said "WHY ARE YOU WASTING MY (the company sales man basically swore at me here, very rude remarke) TIME"
I told him to leave my property as he was wasting my time , which he did so. The salesman didn't at anytime show any company ID or state how he was verbally. It was lucky that I seen his logo on his work ware and I googled it and seen who he worked for (Jobworthdoing). If this is the attitude the people they have going round the doors cold calling, then I would hate to see the guys they have to do the work. Sorry but you will not be getting my custom, very very, poor experience before the start!!! Stay Clear. This company needs reporting.

Contract No U003388 After being contacted by Graeme Lee of Penicuik an appointment was made and all 'snagging' work was completed within the week. Many thanks.
I have used JWD and St Helens on…
I have used JWD and St Helens on several occasions for home improvements and have always found the sales staff, fitters and managers to be really helpful and to deliver an excellent product.
In particular mention needs to go Stevie Robertson and Damien McKenna who dealt with all my jobs professionally, on time and with a reasonable budget for the quality product. All in all would not hesitate to use again and have recommended to all my friends and family.
Great job... well done

A rare pair!
The 2 men who installed my windows were on time, non intrusive and worked well, leaving the place tidy and repaired brickwork they had to chip out.
The whole job took them only about 6 hours for 6 windows.
Couldn't be happier with their service.

Poor communication
Andy fitted my garage very well and efficiently. He was courteous and very professional.
My complaint is that I waited 3 months for the job to be done. I know you had difficulties but I was not kept informed. On the first day the job was supposed to be done I waited in all day, having cleared the space and was not told that there was a problem. I made a lot of phone calls and never got a clear answer.
I am still waiting for an electrician to come and finish the job. I would like to have the use of my extension lead again and I am constantly aware of the loose cable on my wall. I am aware I could hook it down with my wing mirror.
I have had a great deal of work done by Zenith and used many of my savings. I could have got my garage door elsewhere but your sales staff are very convincing even though the doors were very expensive. I fear that my usual satisfaction has now become a disappointment.

Please be extremely
Please be extremely, extremely careful when dealing with this company. The only reason they even get one star was to allow me to leave a comment. Once again they have "went into administration and have been taken over and therefore not honouring warranty". This should not be allowed to happen, people spending hard earned money only for them to be treated in this fashion.
Some of the most rude staff I have ever had the mis-fortune to deal with.

Please do not believe the 5 star…
Please do not believe the 5 star ratings you are reading these have been made from employees who work at the company and have been asked to put them on to increase the ratings.
Whilst they do have some excellent fitters who do an excellent job for you unfortunately the overall customer experience is very poor, they do not care all they are interested in is sales people staying in your house for 3 hours and above so you will sign up. Like previous reviews they are not an ethical business. Job Worth Doing is the fitting side of the business but the holding company name keeps changing it has been previously Entu, Windowcare, Zenith, now its Kairos Group, Install Base Limited, Acraman 515 516 or 517, to name but a few. They keep going bus rename and therefore your guarantee's are no longer valid.
Buy with caution......
Installation of windows was great
Installation of windows was great. However with in a month our kitchen window handle broke. Not long after it was replaced it happened again. Now our bedroom handle has broken and all other window handles are loose. Phoned to have some one out to fix the problems to be told the company has went bust!!!. So after just two year of having our new windows our warranty is worth nothing. The attitude of customer service was awful it was basically tuff luck attitude.

Appalling attitude and standard of …
Appalling attitude and standard of work. the manager takes no responsibility for the damage they have caused to my home. The installation has caused water damage to my home and left holes in the wall. the manager of the Motherwell branch has no concept of customer service or care. Anyone who has had the same experience as me should contact trading standards and their local media with pictures of the damages caused by job worth doing to ensure this does not happen to anyone else.
Don’t get this company to do work for …
Don’t get this company to do work for you they are a shameless bunch of chancers. They don’t listen to customer requirements and are not good at leaving a good job .I HAD NEW SOFFIT AND FACIA BOARDS FITTED AND THE SILICONE WORKS DONE WAS ATTRCIOUS.I WILL CUT MOST OF IT OUT AND REDO IT MYSELF. Beware of them big time if you are talking with them record everything that’s said so you have proof if you have to go to court overso ething

Rip off Britain
Anyone thinking of buying windows from this company all I can say is your mad. I worked for them for just under a year and they ripped me off when I left just like they rip off there customers. Have there fitters chopping windows down or chopping walls to make them fit because there surveyors haven't got a clue and are Constantly messing up. 99.9 % of there customers are old people that they rip off with there sales talk, there customer after sales service is disgraceful and there health and safety policy is non existent.
TAKE THIS AS A WARNING STAY WELL AWAY.
First class
Really surprised at how quick my windows were fitted, first class service. Guys were great and left my home clean and tidy. Very happy with the finish.

Excellent really impressed
Firstly the fitter arrived on time as agreed. My Mrs tells me he was very helpful and friendly. Later on that day when I reached home after work, I was very impressed with the installation of Double uPVC front door and a Kitchen window. All the finishing around the door and window was very professionally trimmed and sealed. All the rubbish was sweeped and the place was left tidy and clean. Will definitely recommend Job Worth Doing for all your home improvement needs.
