We have dealt with Julie Twist since last year and continue to deal with them as our agency. We’ve had many maintenance issues that we had to wait over a week for just for someone to come have a look, such as a shower that’s constantly making a very loud and continuous noise. The shower went cold and we were told we had to wait. It took over a week, which meant we couldn’t have a shower for a whole week!
Also, another issue was when we had moved in we found out that the bathroom door didn’t close and we have little young children. We emailed them previous times to ask someone to come fix the old window with no lock due to the dangerous situation because of our young children. They took months to come and put in a new one.
Now we have an ongoing problem of the same issue with the shower, where the water has gone cold and the noise of the shower is nonstop. It’s so loud that you can hear it all the way down in the kitchen. It’s causing distress to our baby’s sleep and day naps as the bathroom with the noise is right next to our bedroom where the baby sleeps

I am very happy with the professional and nice attitude and help with moving into our new home.
Steps were done fast, with no delays.
Accurate time of moving in as previously agreed.
Inventory and moving-in package have been ready, informative, and clear on collecting the keys.

I just moved my rented flat to Julie Twist, I'm so impressed with their efficiency, they had tenants vetted and installed within 2 weeks of agreeing to take it on and communication was excellent all along. Shoutout to Darren, Mollie and Yvonne for helpfulness and general niceness. This feels like a company that really knows what they are doing and has everything down to a T. I like it that their prices are transparent and also that they have a 24 hour contact number with a real person on the end for tenants.It feels like they are intending to look after the tenants as well as the landlords.

I've found the lettings team at Julie Twist Properties to be professional, knowledgeable and friendly, the business has a decent spread in its portfolio and seems to specialise in period conversations, perfect for Manchester.

I'd highlight my dealings with Darren, Mollie and Yvonne who have successfully helped me market my properties from start to finish without issue, including overseeing and organising photography, viewings, vetting, inventories, taking deposits and signing of agreements.

Their advice in each of their prospective areas of expertise has been accurate, timely and good value for money. Julie Twist managed to rent out my properties very quickly in comparison to similar properties in my building, which were marketed by other agents. Obviously, there's a multitude of reasons for that but I believe one of them is down to the team's expertise and approach.

They evaluated each property on its own merits, took into consideration my circumstances, worked with me an a collaborative manner and on each occasion drew up a specialised plan which garnered positive and surprisingly fast results.

Whilst they are all busy professionals working in a competitive market, they are usually available at the other end of the phone and if not, they promptly respond to queries via email, I found that useful as I'm fairly new to being a landlord. Despite having more than a passing interest in property over the last decade, I was still nervous and unsure about certain aspects and the team were more than happy to answer my questions and point me in the right direction.
