Absolutely disgusted with Jump Inc…

Absolutely disgusted with Jump Inc Beverley today!

Booked a session for my nephew’s 7th birthday kids excited and already on the way then get a call 40 minutes before telling me I’m “banned for life” and not to turn up or I’ll be removed.

No prior warning. No communication. Nothing. Just told to turn the car around.

So I’m left turning around with 4 upset children, and my nephew’s birthday completely ruined.

Spoke to the manager, Jen Lax, who refused to take anything into consideration. The “reason” given was something from over a year ago when my child was under 4 the system allowed me to book, then we were told he couldn’t go on. At the time I was heavily pregnant and couldn’t go on with him THEY apologised and gave vouchers, which I’ve used since and have visited multiple times with no issues. But because he tried to run on a couple of times to his siblings which kids do yet we suddenly today we’re all banned which never been made aware off ?

Even after explaining my child is now 4 and this was for his nephews birthday, every response was just “no”. No understanding, no help, nothing.

Then to be told I’m “lucky” to even get a refund? Unbelievable.

Absolutely shocking way to treat customers especially when children are involved. Avoid!!!!!!!!!!!

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE! People had their shoes on the table but when I kindly asked to remove them they said I was abusing them. The manager didn’t take me seriously but it is disgusting. The tables were really dirty with coffee stains and one even had a hole in the table. The staff threatened us that they will call the police if we don’t leave. I don’t recommend it at all. Too much drama.

I visited trampoline park on I was very concerned about hygiene in the food area. I saw a customer place their shoes on a table where food was being served. When I reported it, the manager said it was allowed.

This made me uncomfortable and raised serious food safety concerns. I hope the park takes hygiene more seriously, especially in areas where food is served.

Bicester site disappointing

Bicester site

Visited tonight 10 November with a group of 5 children for the special SEN session along with their families. When we approached the staff member to pay we were told they were shutting at 6. No reason given. We checked on the website and it was still advertised as an SEN at 6-7. Eventually we were approached by another member of staff saying there was a power cut and the session was cancelled. I accept you cannot help power cuts, however there were people on the trampolines. As SEN parents we face a huge amount of discrimination and this just adds to it. If you are closed, i would advise you make it clear to all users. Why wait until the SEN session to close down? A notice on the door would have helped as well as locking the door. It's very difficult to explain to our children it's closed when people are trampolining. I could write a lot worse because I am fuming with the treatment we received. You were lucky to get one star but it was the only way to add this review. We weren't even offered any compensation for our wasted time. Disgusting.

Customers are ill treated

Customers are not being taken seriously. The price advertised and the price I was charged for a children's party was different (14.95 instead of 14 per child). When I complained on the phone I was told there is nothing that can be done about this, despite acknowledging the obvious mistake from their end. Also when clicking complaint on their website, no text entry or email address appears. That's the last time I book with them!

£2.95 for a small bottle of Dr Pepper. Rip off big time

First, the positives. The staff were friendly, if busy.

The negatives, the drinks are quite expensive. Latte's not too bad but £2.95 for a small bottle of Dr Pepper? Seriously? I bought it because my brother in law's wife wanted one but if I was going to buy it for myself, I wouldn't be paying that. £2 for a small cookie as well. Hmmmm.

My brother in law was going to buy the kids some dinner but £8.95 for a cheese burger? I think that's taking the (please think of your own word(s) here).

It was not very busy and with those prices, I can see why.

Tired and run down

We used to love it at Jump Inc Leeds, now it is run down and tired.
The inflatable area has several damaged areas and didn't feel like it was inflated enough. The seems were blowing out air a lot with no attempt of repair. We won't be going back.

Would be Zero if I could use

Customer service terrible near impossible to complain even when you have serious concerns over safety issues with 6 year old childrens birthday party then they indicate nothing happened despite having supervisors remove individuals from Beverley site I can only assume head office not getting full story from the particular outlet and not bothered about investigating, I would not recommend to anybody unless you are teenagers or above in age as staff are as bad as it gets at supervising site and safety of younger children and worse still unbothered regarding issues until it goes too far and after a number of guests to the party complained yet apparently it's all of our imaginations I guess they are waiting until somebody gets injured and then they might take a future patron seriously

But will give Travis his due, interacts very well. Thank you.

Poor experience for Toddlers

I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experiences at Jump Inc, which have highlighted significant shortcomings in communication, professionalism, and adherence to stated policies.

On 6th of November, I booked tickets online for myself and my 3-year-old daughter and drove 45 minutes to the venue. Upon arrival, I was informed that we could not enter as my daughter was not over 5 years old. This restriction was not mentioned anywhere on your website at the time of booking. When I queried this, I was told it was a decision made by the manager and that the website information was incorrect. Although I was refunded and provided complimentary passes as an apology, this situation was both inconvenient and frustrating.

I was assured by staff that the complimentary passes could be used during the toddler session on Sunday between 9–10 AM. Based on this assurance, I returned on 17th of November, only to be told upon arrival that the passes could not be used and that I would need to pay the full price. This additional miscommunication reflects poorly on the professionalism of your team and caused further unnecessary inconvenience.

While we were able to participate in the toddler session after paying, the experience was undermined by the decision to allow much older children into the session with 20 minutes remaining. This disrupted the session and unsettled my daughter, which is particularly disappointing as the toddler sessions are already limited in availability and specifically advertised as being dedicated to younger children.

Overall, these experiences were frustrating and fell far below the standard I would expect from a family-oriented venue. I request a formal explanation of the issues outlined above, including:
1. Why the website did not accurately reflect restrictions on age.
2. Why the complimentary passes were not valid as promised.
3. Why older children were allowed into a session designated for toddlers.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues to ensure other families do not face similar experiences. I would also appreciate any steps you intend to take to rectify this matter.

Avoid at all costs!

My friend and I brought our boys here on a Saturday evening. My son was physically assaulted by a group of older children who had come in from a local traveller site without paying. My friend and I were sat in the parents viewing area and my 11 year old came to tell me what had happened. Staff saw the incident but did not alert me or come to see if he was okay. The manager, Karl was rude and said the safety of children is not their responsibility. My sons face quickly swelled up, no first aid was offered, no details sought to record in the accident book. I reported this incident to the police who were shocked that Jump inc hadn’t done this. It took over a month for a full response to my complaint from head office who didn’t seem to care and just offered me a refund as a ‘gesture of goodwill.’ Unsafe place with a lack of care for the safeguarding of children.

Poor Experience

Positives - had great fun on the trampolines and the obstacle course. Bought a small chips from the cafe which was nice.

Negatives - ninja warrior area closed, which we specifically traveled too jump inc to try. When staff asked by myself and another member of my party on separate occasions, we were given two different answers on why the area was closed. Told 'no staff to open it' and 'its closed due to a leak in the roof'. Was also not raining outside so not sure who the roof was leaking?
Slides on obstacle course were also poor and need to be cleaned/ polished. Try to slide down and get stuck with own skin or clothes.

Also kicked out after an hour, even though our group and one other group were the only ones in there.

Overall a poor experience. Would not recommend or go again.

...socks

Despite my kids wearing perfectly safe and appropriate socks (the ones with the plastic/ rubber grips on the sole but with ‘elev8’ branding) they were harassed by the staff to buy the ‘Jump inc’ branded socks and told they couldn’t continue playing otherwise.

I explained to the staff that the Elev8 branded socks are exactly the same and even have exactly the same grip but all I got is the robotic response of “the elev8 socks aren’t covered by the waiver”. I asked them why they deemed the Elev8 socks unsafe but got the same auto-response.

This is highly wasteful and is nothing but an attempt to squeeze extra £’s out of customers who have already paid a lot for their children to enter. Elev8 and a few other places are just as bad and are happy to milk their customers for every penny. I’m not sure how it is even legal. It’s like taking my kids rollers skating and then to be told their skates “aren’t covered by the waiver” so they need to buy the venues own branded skates. Convenient for business isn’t it?

Anyway, I won’t bother taking the kids here again. I’ll take them to Under1Roof or the Jungle at Quex Park where they won’t be harassed or exploited by the staff.

Great updates to the Lincoln Park

I was critical of the Lincoln park last visit but have to say the new updated park has brought it back to the levels I used to expect. Loving the new layout and the addition of the football area. Great fun with the Grandchildren.
