After sending many emails with not much response or change in Just eat or their drivers /service I decided to close my account, drivers continued to ask for my home wifi passcode because they had no mobile signal to confirm delivery at the door, I always refused to give them my wifi password(am sure its illegal to ask even) but anyway they would take food away and never come back with it ! I would then have no food,try get a refund, just a joke of a service really, Do not give just Eat drivers your home wifi access code.

We will never use this company again! Orders have arrived cold previously, but we decided to take a chance, and placed an order again. We received tracking to state that the courier had set off, and then that they were 4 minutes away. Tracking stopped and then a text arrived to say that just eat had cancelled our order. No explanation, nothing. Appalling service! Avoid!

Ordered some food from McDonald’s at 14:00 on a Saturday (today)… 16:00+ it’s still not been delivered. Spoke to McDonalds and they were useless (as predicted) and said I’d just need to wait.. how long, exactly? 3 weeks? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tried to contact Just Eat and you basically can’t do that. Finally, managed to cancel my order and they have the audacity to say I could be charged for my order due to cancelling it? What? Fairly certain that’s illegal! Won’t be paying for a product/service I didn’t even receive, thanks!

Scammers! Deleted my Just Eat account and I won’t be using them ever again.

I am so disappointed by their poor customer service after sending clear photo evidence of how awful our food was they still refuse to refund me. Item was missing and another was made incorrecly. I even made a further order for these two items and still they wont refund me. Will not be using Just eat again

Just Eat Delivery Failure
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Just Eat today and feel that other customers should be aware of what happened.
Today, I placed a food order in Margate for approximately £42. The delivery location was clearly indicated as Industrial Unit 1, within a garage/industrial unit area. The location is correctly shown on Google Maps, and I was at the specified location waiting for my food.

The driver contacted me through the Just Eat app asking, “Where are you?” I tried to explain that I was at the location shown on the order, but unfortunately I could not explain exactly how to navigate through the garage/industrial area because I do not know what mapping system the driver was using.

I then told the driver that I would come out to the main road to meet him. I went to the main road and waited, but I could not find the driver. I messaged him several times asking where he was and trying to locate him.

Instead of making a reasonable effort to complete the delivery or contact me further, the driver simply marked the order as delivered. The chat then closed, leaving me with no food.

The most frustrating part is that Just Eat makes it extremely difficult to speak to an actual person when something goes wrong. There was no straightforward way for me to contact customer support by telephone or speak to someone immediately through live chat. I was essentially left with a complaint form while £42 had already been taken from my bank account and I had received nothing.

This is completely unacceptable.

I paid for a food delivery service, made myself available to receive the order, communicated with the driver, and even went to the main road to try to find him. I should not have to pay £42 for food that was never delivered.

I am formally requesting:
An explanation of why the driver was able to mark the order as delivered when I had clearly communicated with him and was actively trying to receive the food.
An explanation of why it is so difficult for customers to speak directly to Just Eat when a delivery goes wrong.
Confirmation of what Just Eat will do to prevent this happening to other customers.
I strongly urge other customers to be cautious when using this service. When everything goes smoothly, food delivery apps may seem convenient, but when something goes wrong, my experience today was that the customer was left without food, without the money they paid, and without any immediate way of speaking to someone who could actually resolve the problem.

They put estimated delivery for the order 20min. I got the food 2h later... It makes no sense they put such an inaccurate eta, i wouldn't order if i know how long will take. Such a bad app really, i will uninstall and never use again in my life. Waste of time

I made an order through justeat, the food arrived late and cold, there is no way of showing that the food arrived cold, through the phone. So when you request a refund, I got an email back saying on the information we have, no where when you submit the refund does it let you put any information into the website. So I will not be using Justeat again.

I’ll sum up Just Eat UK’s service: my food leaves restaurant, it takes 1hour 20 mins to get delivered instead of 22-24 minutes (with courier going to the other side of the map) therefore obviously you get cold food and JustEat thinks it’s ok, won’t do anything about it no refund no compensation. Hopefully they will lose more customers like me because this was my last order from them.

First time ordering on here but thought I would try as offering some good deals. Never again. The pizza ordered came incorrect, meant to be deep pan and arrived not even classic style, but biscuit thin. I requested a refund which during the process said to take a picture of your food, but nowhere to upload it. I simply got a reply the next day to say they are unable to offer a refund on the information they have, but no other details to explain or say what else they need.

Delivery window was 30-45 minutes but kept getting delayed. Order took 3 hours to arrive at nearly midnight. Food was cold and not edible. No way to contact the restaurant to get update or cancel order. No customer support from Just eat and after the delivery there was finally an option for a chat bot which was automated and useless. Didn’t get a refund or any sort of compensation. Will take it up with my bank.

Worst customer service ever!!! They issued me a coupon with no code on it, when I try to apply it after 10 of the pop it’s gone, i reached out to “customer complain listeners” to let them this happened, that’s what they getting paid for!

My money has been taken and nothing has been delivered. Just eat has stolen my money

Order 190490906. An extremely poor experience with Just Eat.

My order never arrived, yet getting any meaningful assistance was almost impossible. I waited over an hour in the customer service chat, only to be left waiting and then have the chat closed with the claim that they had not received a response from me.

The screenshots clearly show that I was actively responding and repeatedly stating that I was still there. I was even told that a bilingual agent would take over, but the issue was never resolved.

No order. No proper explanation. No accountability. No effective customer service.

For a company handling food deliveries and payments, this is simply unacceptable. I will also be raising the matter with my bank and expect Just Eat to take responsibility for what happened.

I placed my order at around 7:30 PM, but the delivery time shown by Just Eat was clearly inaccurate. After waiting for a long time, I cancelled the first order and placed another order from a different restaurant, thinking the problem was with the restaurant.
Unfortunately, the same thing happened again. It has now been nearly 3 hours, and I still haven’t received my food. The delivery time keeps changing, and it is now showing 10:20 PM.
This is completely unacceptable. Just Eat needs to improve its delivery service and, most importantly, provide customers with accurate delivery times instead of showing misleading estimated times.
Very poor service from Just Eat. Extremely disappointing experience.

Waited over 45 mins over estimated delivery time food cold and soggy chips and chicken balls driver said he went out the area first to deliver and then us last very disappointed!!!!

The worst company I have ever encountered. Absolutely no customer service and will not refund if things in your order is missing or even if your whole order is missing.

Further appalling service from Just Eat, nearly 2 hours waiting for my order, apparently the courier has been on the way to the restaurant for the last 1.50 hours, either they are travelling a significant distance or this is just another case of the gross incompetence of Just Eat. After this order I will only use Deliveroo, worlds apart and they provide the service that they promise

Every time I use just eat and there’s a problem yer it’s mainly the places I order from McDonald’s and Greggs being worst but just eat are quick enough to charge more but never want to refund for missing items which you’ve paid for
