😡🤬👺👹Financial frauds company

Needs to be investigated with financial fraud. These guys gone too big and other complaints says it all. I argue people to come forward and make a case agaist these frauds . we as a small business get scammed by them and their online scammers , they send the weekly payment to scammers and first they will agree to pay the money to legit account then they come up with 100000 excuses and they have done so many times , its needs to go on media , news papers, local MP's to raise it on behalf of customers and small businesses . These guys are serious scams and getting away easily without addressing the issues plus people on the other side lie and lie and lie ..... limitless lies , fed up with this . Now its the time to raise the voice and we are personally preparing to take legal actions as well for financial frauds by them

When I leave a bad review they delete it!

When I leave a good review, it shows up no problem. When I have a bad experience, contact them or/and leave an honest bad review for the takeaway, just eat hide it. This has happened a few times and it’s not acceptable. I usually read reviews to know if a place is clean, has decent food and delivered within timeframe. If they keep deleting honest reviews from paying customers then how can anyone judge a place impartially? It seems, they protect big companies ie McDonald’s, Costa, Burger king. Small local companies they leave the bad reviews up. I’m going to avoid just eat from now on.

Bunch of crooks

I don't usually do this but inhave had enough of Just Eat. The last twice i have ordered with them I have failed to receive my full order.

This seems to be the norm for just eat now. Am not sure if it's the drivers or the restaurants but I would say 3 out of 5 orders have some thing wrong with them.

Either things missing. Incorrect food or nothing at all.....but its the consumer that's being punished.

At least Uber Eats accepts responsibility for the issues. I shall never be using Just Eats again. Uber Eats is the way to go and they even give you money off your next order if the order is late if your an uber one member or free delivery over £15 and 5% off the total.

Ditch Just Eat and join Uber One for better service and money off travel and food. Last money I saved £25 quid which is about how much money I throw to the wind using Just Eat a month.

Worked a 12 hr shift absolutely…

Worked a 12 hr shift absolutely knackered. Ordered a McDonald’s, tracked driver on the app he went roughly 5 miles in the wrong direction. He eventually turned up 45 minutes late. Obviously the food was stone cold, but just to add insult to injury he had spilt Fanta all over the burger & chips. Completely ruined & thrown straight in the bin. Just Eat when I complained said they needed photo evidence?!? I wasn’t about to go scraping through the bin, so I was not afforded a refund. They can clearly see the driver was massively late, but don’t care & are calling me a liar re the food being freezing & covered in Fanta. Will never ever use Just Eat again having been a regular user. Most awful customer service imaginable.

This company is a joke , order was cancelled never received refund , in the past food missing or flat cold, when trying to resolve any problems , you have to go round the houses via e mail , you can not speak to anyone waist of time this as happened to many times now and just eat is definitely not on my menu anymore

Fake reviews, poor quality food, overpriced.

Almost all of my local restaurants' review scores have gone way up, from 3* to over 4* It's obvious they're using fake reviews. I've tried to report this before but have been ignored by just eat. These fake reviews make their website a joke. Even if the fake reviews aren't enough, the restaurant can just register a new name from the same address and continue business with terrible food and service. These practices amount to a scam that their site facilitates. Their new-look site no longer works with browser translation extensions and doesn't have the option to change the language, which really lets down the direction their business has taken. A good reason to stop using this site that lists disgusting, overpriced restaurants and allows fake reviews and fake business names.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Bought some lunch which was soup a pastry and a cake. Was handed a ripped completely soaked soggy bag and the driver apologised and walked away! The soup lid wasn’t on and had poured out soaking all the contents.
Contacted just eat and sent photos. The whole paper bag and the cakes inside were all in paper bags and disintegrated with the soup absorbed into the cake. Was only offered a refund for the soup!! Absolute jokers

Company condoned theft

Food ordered. Watched driver on map driving up and down the lower part of the road for 20 minutes, didn’t come near my house. I’m disabled otherwise I would have gone to find it. No phone call. Then miraculously it’s been delivered! Not to me. Contacted just eat, no refund because it’s outside of policy. Plain theft and corruption. Don’t use them.

I had placed an order with a restaurant…

I had placed an order with a restaurant called lucky star. It had clicked on collection by mistake. Within minutes of placing the order, I had contacted the restaurant to place a delivery order instead. They had told me that they couldn't deliver as I was 2 far away. We had agreed to cancel the order and told me that they will refund me bur I have to contact just eat for this process. I had contacted just eat and they said they are not going to give me a refund due to it being in line of they policy. I had asked them to show me where it states this in they policy where I can't contacted the restaurant within 5 mins of the order being placed and for it to be cancelled due to not being able to deliver and had been agreed on with the restaurant manager. They could not send me the policy and just kept repeating the same message as what they had sent me the other 2 times. Just eat clearly want to rip people off. They hadn't even started cooking the food so why won't just eat refund me? DON'T USE THE JUST EAT SERVICES AS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT, THEY CHARGE YOU MORE NEARLY EVERY ITEM, like for chips, if you ring them, the chips are £2 but of you used the just eat app, they charge you £2.50. Just eat are all ready ripping people off as it is and now they won't refund me, some sort of joke they are. JUST EAT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AS THEY ARE NO BETTER THEN SCAMMERS RINGING YOU PRETENDING TO BE THE HMRC OR IRS!!!!!!

Just don't bother us, just give us your money

Made an order the other day, missing item. Tried the help system on their website. They've made It impossible for me to make a claim and impossible for me to get a refund this way. Their website would also not let me review the restaurant as they were no help either. I understand mistakes can happen, but giving customers no recourse to attempt to resolve is disgraceful

Absolutely can not stand this company

Absolutely can not stand this company, simply due to the sh!ttest customer service I've ever experiences!

I placed a food order just now for a local place that usual arrive pretty fast. Order placed at 11:50am. I have an appointment at 2pm, needing to leave home at 13:35 to be there on time. This should give me plenty of time for my food to arrive, eat and leave.

Turns out there are no available drivers, so the delivery time has jumped to 13:50-14:10!! I tried to cancel the order but am only allowed to cancel and pay the full price! I've called the restaurant, who confirmed that my food has been cooked and is basically sat there waiting for a driver (so that will taste lovely and fresh when it finally arrives!!).

Just Eat have NO option for me to contact them and speak to a person until after my food has arrived! So despite the fact that it will take over 2hrs for my food to arrive, Just Eat won't allow me to cancel unless I foot the bill. The restaurant can't cancel as there is no option for them to do this. There is no contact number for Just Eat unless you are a business partner.

Honestly, this world has gone back a stage!!! In an age with more technology to keep us better connected, how is it even harder to speak to a person?! I hate Just Eat and all they stand for!

Not surprised by low rating. I'd give 0 if I could...

I am not surprised at all by Just Eat's low rating. They lack empathy for their customers and have scripted humans who generate the same response repeatedly (they might as well be bots, as there is a lack of human element to the interactions).

Honestly, going around in circles talking to a bunch of incompetent people is such a waste of my energy and time. Claire Pointon, Just Eat's Managing Director, and Victoria Gold, Just Eat's UK & IE Marketing Director, sort out your business model. Surely, a company like Just Eat can do better!
