OH MY GOSH where do I begin? Just BAD!
OH MY GOSH, where do I begin?? This company is freaking TERRIBLE! My blood pressure is probably off the charts after my phone calls with them.
I have a JVC Roku TV. I used to have no problem casting/streaming with my Windows PC and a tablet.
Now all of a sudden I can't stream or cast from either device. The TV isn't showing up as an available nearby device. I spent weeks troubleshooting to find a solution. My last resort was to call the company.
First, when I called, they asked for the model number which they told me was on the back of the TV and it's very difficult for me to get to since it's against a wall. I managed to slip my phone back there to take a pic and get the needed information. While I was trying to do this, the agent told me to call back when I had the info because "they couldn't stay on the phone that long".
Ok. I got the info and called back (meanwhile no one told me I could find the model number by going to my settings; I found that out online as I was struggling to get behind the TV)
When I called back with the info,
I told them what happened. They basically told me I was wrong and my computer can't cast to the TV. I told them I'd been doing it for YEARS and all of a sudden I wasn't abe to anymore.
I tested my mom's tablet and that wouldn't mirror.
Now they are telling me it's not an issue with the TV, that it's out of warranty and I need to call Microsoft. smh. It's such a headache. Both of these devices can stream and cast to the 2nd TV in the household
Note to self: NEVER buy a JVC product!
There is so much more, but not even worth the energy typing about.
Customer service is trash, rude, lazy, and unwilling to help.
.
Don't bother
Picture on modern hd. Is alright that's it anything prior filmed is awfully my last sharp TV balanced this and the speaker is diabolical to the point where it's just shxt take my word for it it's going back
Waste of money steer clear
What an absolute waste of money. I’ve had my JVC tv for less than a year and have had constant issues. The consistent one is the remote not working properly and I’m constantly having to change the area from North East to Yorkshire. Once it set that should be it. The picture is constantly retrieving data and today when I go into catch-up there is a picture initially but then when I go into the program there is a grey picture with lines. I shouldn’t have to turn the tv off and reset. There is a lot to be said for paying that little bit more for a decent tv. I should have gone with my gut and bought an LG. If I could give it a zero rating I would. JVC need to up their game big style!!!!
Worst TV we have ever brought
Worst TV we have ever brought. Slow responding to the remote. Wouldn't switch off, on quite a few occasions. Won't connect to the Internet, so can't watch catch up tv, on numerous occasions. Last straw tonight, only had sound, and no picture, spent 45 minutes, trying to sort it out. Please don't waste your money buying a JVC TV.
Can't add apps to my JVC TV.
Can't add apps to my JVC TV.
Got ahold of JVC support. He asked me the model #, I gave it to him. He told me to go into the TVs app store, I told him there wasn't one. He wanted to send me an invoice.
Complete garbage.
Avoid at All Costs JVC Android TV from Currys
Without sounding bitter, the JVC Android TV is the biggest load of crap I've ever purchased.
Do not under any circumstances put this TV in to standby mode, you will only get the TV to respond to the unresponsive remote by a hard reset....by unplugging it and then restarting it again.
Seriously bad TV, avoid at all costs. I should have suspected with it part manufactured by JVC and Currys.

Very poor quality products and dreadful customer service. Just look at all the reviews!
Customer service is absolutely…
Customer service is absolutely disgusting. Very rude and unwilling to help sort out a TV I had bought and wasn't working. Tried several times to contact them about it and was told they will not respond to me again.....I will never purchase from jvc again.
Very bad experience
Very bad experience. I called customer services to get rid of option menu from the bottom of my screen which their technician can’t help me with after taking 45 mins
I bought a 32in android tv
I bought a 32in android tv. It doesn't kike to respond to the remote. Although once turned on, its better if you turn it off and on again with the remote. I found out that these are made by curries under licence from jvc which is probably why they are rubbish and cheap. If jvc respect their name they should remove the licence from Currys. At curry's you obviously get what you pay for. Which is poor quality and terrible after service. They rely on you to keep paying for protection against problems. Wont be using them anymore, enough is enough
Total rubbish
Total rubbish. So slow responding to remote commands. Aviod these tv's at all costs. - Jon - Chipping Sodbury.
JVC fire 43in rubbish after just one…
JVC fire 43in rubbish after just one year keeps going black and no sound or pictures found out this is a common fault with this TV Currys won't fix it cus it's one month over the one year warranty avoid like the plague
smart tv JVC 32"LT-32CR230 the biggest disaster on the market!
I've bought smart TV JVC 32"LT - 32CR230 at Currys. That's the biggest disaster and useless product I've ever seen in my entire life! I'm deadly serious and sure about it. To setup and start to "enjoy" your tv you have to put your email address and then receive some code to activate your roku account. The point is no one of my two addresses worked so I couldn't go even further with the settings. When I've contacted Currys advisor he've had a brilliant one solution for me ! Take the tv back to the store, it can't be fixed because its JVC and its very often issue! How crap is that ?!
Worst tv we’ve ever had
Worst tv we’ve ever had! It constantly freezes, crashes and randomly takes you back to the Home Screen. Replacing asap as it takes 10 minutes just to get something to play.
TV broken after three years
TV broken after three years. I would not buy a TV from JVC. Similar to other reviews product is unusable now. I had similar issues to the last review previously which somehow I resolved. But now, after recently changing WiFi router it will not reconnect. I've tried everything including LAN cable and full reset. No logical reason. I have a background in electronics, the quality of the TV and connections are poor.
Would NEVER buy a JVC T.V
Would NEVER buy a JVC T.V. again, RUBBISH T.V.s slow, remote doesn't work half the time, voice control is RUBBISH... Stay well clear of any JVC T.V.s
JVC fire TV Absolute biggest pile of crap ever…
Absolute biggest pile of crap I've ever bought. Should have taken it back the same week we bought it but decided to see if it was a fluke failure. No this TV crashes regularly and I might aswel put a mains switch on the front the amount of times I have to get up and unplug it to reset it. Please do not buy. Doo not buy.
I’m a big fan of the JVC headphones…
I’m a big fan of the JVC headphones models and believe they are the best in the market. Most models are exclusive in Japan and they hit the deep Bass levels that Sony and apple have not been able to match in any of there models.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. TV was fine when I got it about 3yrs ago and now automatically turns itself off and I've done everything to make sure it doesn't happen like checking and moving the socket, changing the batteries and nothing, doesn't even stay on after about 5mins. This only happened recently and luckily I have a smaller Samsung TV to fall back on till I can get a new one. Just avoid this company at all costs.
Worst TV ever!
I have had to put up with a JVC Fire TV for 3 years as I can't afford to buy another TV. It is terrible! The newer ones may be better but I will never buy another. It takes an age to find listings,or go to your chosen channel. Sometimes when you turn it on from standby it doesn't actually show a picture and you have to turn it on and off at the socket to reboot the thing. If you like waiting for things you'll love this TV as you always have to wait or reboot this. Really really frustrating. Can't wait to get rid of it!
