I recently purchased the Reipa mattress from JYSK Tilst Store, and the entire experience has been truly outstanding.
For over three months, I had been searching for the perfect continental bed and mattress, exploring several brands and stores like IKEA, ILVA, Drømmeland, as well as stores in Sweden such as XXXLutz and Mio. After extensive research and trying multiple options, I finally chose the very popular Reipa model—and I couldn’t be happier with the decision.
A special thanks to Frederik, who assisted me at the store. He was incredibly patient, took the time to answer all my questions, and helped me find the best option at a great price with a very good discount. His approach made the entire buying process smooth and enjoyable.
I was also pleasantly surprised to receive free home delivery. The delivery experience was just as impressive—the driver was extremely kind and even helped carry the bed and mattress up to the first floor. What truly stood out was his dedication, especially as he was observing Ramadan at the time.
After using the bed for over a week now, I can confidently say I’m extremely happy with my purchase. The comfort is excellent, and the bed looks elegant and beautiful in our home.
Kudos to the entire JYSK team for such a wonderful experience!

What valued most to me is the courteous and supportive behavior of staff - all sales people were so helpful and went extra mile to guide and make selections. Also, the products of the company are comparatively better as compared to other companies, especially in terms of design, cost and quality. Our experience with JYSK has been great and that's why we have been there 4 to 5 times within a month while setting up our new apartment and did most of the shopping for furniture and household items from this outlet. We are very happy and satisfied with JYSK - as company as well as the products and staff. Wish you all the best.

This has been the worst customer…
This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
We bought a sofa, and it arrived with the wrong pieces. I reported the issue to JYSK immediately after receiving the delivery. They told me to contact a chatbot, and after several attempts, the chat kept getting closed right when it came to actually resolving the problem.
Then they had the audacity to suggest that we could arrange the pickup ourselves — at our own time and expense — even though delivery was already paid for. We specifically spent a certain amount to qualify for delivery, and now you expect us to fix your mistake?
There has been zero compensation offered. We were told that maybe someone will come next week to collect the incorrect parts and deliver the correct ones — no confirmation, no details, nothing. So we’re supposed to wait over a week without even knowing if this will actually happen?
This is beyond unacceptable. I have never encountered such incompetent and dismissive customer service in my life.

There is a bit of subtle racism going on
I went in to pick up a product on March 17 at JYSK Tårnby at around 17:00. When I went to reception the employee had no smile and almost looked disturbed/annoyed that I was asking her a question.
After being guided to the warehouse front door where I picked up my product, as I was going to the exit, I saw the same employee have such a welcoming bright smile and a positive attitude towards a Danish customer that just came in.
Perhaps it is because of my race and color, perhaps it is not, but my feedback would be to treat everyone the same despite their background.

I was there yesterday to buy a desk and a chair for my house. The service is very fast and all people I found were very gentle. I had to go in the bus station close there in order to come back with all packages and a guy, I don’t remember the name exactly it was like Kasper, helped me. Thank you guys

25-year warranty is a scam! Avoid JYSK GOLD mattresses
I bought a premium GOLD foam mattress with a 25-year warranty, but JYSK's guarantee is a total fraud. When the mattress sagged, their 'expert' inspection consisted of placing a spirit level on the BACK of the mattress, suspended in the air, with zero weight applied.
They claim it’s 'perfect' because the bottom is flat, while nobody is lying on it! Even their HQ Communications Director confirmed this ridiculous 'in-the-air' measurement as a global standard. Do not be fooled by the 'GOLD' label or the long warranty—it is impossible to claim it. Save your money and go elsewhere

Shocking Experience with a Supposedly ‘Trusted’ Brand
Absolutely terrible experience with JYSK.
My order arrived incomplete, with several items missing. When I contacted customer service, they had no idea what was missing from the package — which is completely unacceptable. The only reason this was resolved at all is because my wife had taken a photo with the delivery driver. I had to provide proof myself just so they could figure out their own mistake. This unnecessary back-and-forth delayed everything by an entire week.
Then came the sofa bed — and that was an even bigger disaster. Right out of the box, the lounge section was cracked. On top of that, the back support holes didn’t even align with the screw holes, making assembly impossible. This clearly points to poor quality control and manufacturing defects.
As a result, I wasted 8–10 hours assembling and then disassembling a completely defective product. Now I’m expected to repeat the entire process again when (and if) the replacement arrives. On top of that, I’ve spent even more time chasing customer service to fix issues that should never have happened in the first place.
Overall, this has been a frustrating, time-consuming, and completely avoidable experience. Extremely poor product quality, lack of basic coordination, and a customer service process that puts the burden on the customer.
Not what you expect from a brand like JYSK — and definitely not something I would recommend .
