My kids currently go to this school as of right now. The teachers communication with the us is ridiculous. They are horrible at communication. I don't recommend.

Update: I was informed with a 13 hour notice that my child will have a make-up test for the ACAP with less time to complete the tests that was given to the other students. Instead of the test being staged over 3 days, it will all be done in 1 day. I will still stand firm on saying this school is very much last-minute and disorganized.
I wish I had more positive things to say, but nothing about the learning experience with this school has been pleasant, professional, or flexible. Everything has been last-minute and disorganized. The FLEX program was offered at enrollment and it was honored half-way through the school year after many ignored conversations and borderline arguments over the conflicting schedules that were set for required classes. As of now, it has been 3 weeks with no communication about my child's ACAP testing dates after experiencing technical issues with the tests during the March 16-18 sessions. There is currently no scheduled lessons, and my child's 3rd quarter work samples have not been graded or entered as zero despite being turned in by the due dates.
This year alone has diminished my child's love of learning.

My son being a K12 online student has been such a blessing. My son is autistic and non verbal, so him being out of the home with strangers was not the best choice. K12 has made allowances for his therapy to continue. The teacher and counselor are super understanding and helpful when it comes to his learning and progress. It has taken a while to get a meeting for an IEP, but we have one and hopefully it goes well. Overall I wouldn't have it any other way than being able to make sure my child is in a safe learning environment.

The timeline was confusing. My child sometimes struggles to know what needed to be completed and where to find it. It was hard for me to follow the grading and separating quarters, what was included and excluding from the final grade. We struggled with locating literature for ELA, and knowing what was required and not, as well as technical issues.

I love to see my child experience meeting new teachers and students and it's just a great opportunity to be able to work at her own pace, and doesn't have to leave out the comfort of her own home, she has always been in home school and she absolutely loves it ❤️

Zach never felt comfortable in school so we started homeschooling him pretty young he was having trouble reading and that made him very uncomfortable around the other kids with switching to k12 Zach started feeling comfortable again and interacted with his teachers and started learning everyone’s been great with him with k12 you provided him with a laptop and his school supplies and with his lives I think he has improved a great bit

The teachers and administrators are heartless and don’t care about the children. They only care about the stats.
