Utter crap

Utter crap. I've had Vodafone for 2 weeks and so far had more problems than with m-net in the past 2 years.
Their staff is super helpful though both on site and customer service.

Never buy vodafone cable internet

Never try to go with vodafone cable internet contracts. The speed what they promise is always never you will get that speed.
Next the internet gets disconnects very frequently. The customer service is very bad to reach them, no way to create tickets.
Just all the time network wizard option is given but not reaching real people. So fed up with their service

Impossible to speak to them and when you get them on the phone they do not listen

After several years I cancelled the contract. Due date early May. The charged however the full amount, not the remaining 10 euros. Tried to contact over the phone not possible, tried to contact over the email not possible, tried to login on my account not possible, password reset did not work, account was already closed. Did a bank payment recall, and then they suddenly wake up, and immediately send an invoice, Guess to where.... indeed my non accessible account. After 2 weeks a mahnung, this time as PDF, and guess what they charge the costs from the bank for the refund... and mahnung costs.. Who was wrong, who did not pay attention that client cancelled contract. Tried to contact them, impossible but decided to go over purchasing new equipment. These guys simply disconnected, did not want to listen and help.
Never have worked with such an unprofessional organization....... sorry that we cannot give 0 stars...
What I expect:
1 a sorry, we made a mistake, sorry
2 refund of the money that was incorrectly charged

Called them today again, via the electronic lady I was not able to get anybody on the phone, in fact the line was disconnected. Next round l tried to get in via buying new stuff. Successful I thought, but the guy on the phone did not want to listen, did not want to connect me internally to the right department just disconnected the call. Mentioned that via the electronic lady I could not get hold on anybody: reply: Not my problem........How rude...
Right now i am trying to fine the e mail address of the CEO Hannes Ametsreiter.... and send him my complains.. By blocking any communication with clients, and charging for their mistakes I now do understand why vodafone Germany has an EBITDA of 42%.

I have been on Vodafone for over a…

I have been on Vodafone for over a decade and they have been garbage the entire time. They won’t even send a repair guy out to fix the Internet that they installed because the box is all messed up it gives me cable issues all the time Internet drops about 5 to 10 times a day, you apply for a new giga cube with updated contract to make them stop the throttling BS and somehow your citizenship is marked wrong on the paperwork so they take the Gigacube back and say we can’t leave it with you. Garbage ass company bunch of crooks somebody should put them out business. If you need internet avoid this scam company!!! Bunch of thieves. I swear on my own soul they only care about the money for pathetic product if I had my way they'd all be out of business freaking con artists!!

Cable internet is giving me 90'ies nostalgia

Always connection losses, never even even fraction of the speed you pay for and a lot of lag. In addition you share your cable connection with all other appartements in your building, which slows it down even further. Support can't or won't fix it and there's almost no way of getting out of the contract before 2 years. So never get vodafone cable.

Worst experience ever with an internet provider

This is the worst experience I've ever had with an internet company, and I've had many as I move often and tried many companies due to my job. Indeed, I chose Vodafone because I had had previous positive experiences with the company in other countries.
I will try to summarize my experience:
- They lied to me at the moment of making the contract. I realized some of the lies on the spot so I didn't fall into the trap (related to promotions that were actually a rip-off). Unfortunately, I only realized about others when I had to cancel my contract and the termination conditions were different to what they had explained me.
- I had connection problems frequently. No-one helped me. I went to a couple of shops nearby my flat and they ignored me (shops only sell, don't expect to get any help or honest advice from them). I called repeatedly. It was so hard to talk to a human, and when I finally did, they took two weeks to come home and fix the problem (the installation, also made by them, had not been properly done). During these two weeks I had to buy additional hotspot that they never reimbursed.
In summary: bad service, rude and unhelpful staff and a terribe value-for-money generally. Stay away from it.

Just don't.

I guess I can't say more or less than other reviewers here. Vodafone (Kabel) is just a joke. It was good when I started with it and then a few months in and the problems started happening. We are at almost with no bandwidth and latency is very unstable. I'm surprised how it is allowed by the local laws that one has no options to switching to other providers. Glad I will be moving in a few months so I can go back to reliable DSL or Optic Fiber if Berlin ever decide to evolve :D

Stay clear of Vodafone.

Do not become a vodafone cable customer or internet.
We have had 3 tv boxes from VF. All of them were broken. Even the technician told us they have a 50/50 chance of working most of the time.

So this is how it will work with vodafone deutschland:

1st. They will make the contract with you.

2nd. Everything will arrive. Working or not working.

3rd. They will bump up what you pay by adding you into things that werent explained to you or that you even asked for.

4th. You will contact them to try and sort it out and be told no its all in the contract and that you are now tied to them for the year or 2.

5th. You send everything back so that you can have equipment that actually works. And they will tell you that your old box didnt arrive. And that a bill has been made for you. Now this bill will be in the region of 200-800 euro for the box being lost.

6TH. next you will be so dissapointed with the service you will want to cancell. They will tell you on the phone that its been cancelled when you contract runs out. But in the mean time you ha e no tv box but you still have to pay. And even thkugh they told you on the phone its cancelled as of this or that date it wont be. They will carry your contract on without even speaking to you.

THERE IS NO HELP FROM THESE PEOPLE. ALL I CAN SAY IS STAY CLEAR. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

Just horrible

Just horrible. From service delivery to customer service, every thing is horrible. Especially with corona, I need to work from home, and the internet just doesn't work. Breake every 2 minutes. Tech Hub Berlin, what a joke.

Do NOT become a Vodafone’s Cable client...

After three months of constant waiting, I decided to write a review in hope that perhaps things might become better even if only someday in the future.

After moving into a new flat, my wife and I decided to give the “fast and easy” cable internet from Vodafone a go. The problems began appearing from the very beginning. To begin with, it must be said that we are paying for the 1000/50 tariff; therefore, the most expensive from the whole range they are offering. In the beginning, I was very unhappy with the speeds of 600 MBits/s of download and 10 MBits/s upload but little did I know... After contacting Vodafone regarding the problem, we were notified that “our line is causing interferences and a technician from Solution30 GmbH is coming”. The mentioned company deserves a separate review due to the terrible level of customer support services we received. Nevertheless, the signal quality was finally fixed thanks to the sheer enthusiasm of the technicians which worked at our place. The whole process took Vodafone a whole month to complete.

Being a person who understands how a network infrastructure should be organized, I went with a technician in order to check their equipment located in the basement of our building. I must say that I’ve seen a lot of different approaches regarding organizing an infrastructure but nothing could’ve prepared me for what I saw. I can just say that it’s not the way things are supposed to be and what’s even funnier is that even Vodafone’s own technicians understand and acknowledge that the whole network built by Vodafone is a huge mess...

After the repair, the internet access had been working ok for a week or so until one morning it stopped working altogether. After testing the line, I discovered that our download speed was 100 MBits/s and our upload was 0,14 MBits/s. The cherry on the cake was the fact that the ping was somewhere in between 100 and 200 ms. After contacting Vodafone again, we were told that the problem is fully at their side and we don’t need a technician at our place. The customer support stuff informed us that the problem will be dealt with at the very shortest. The original date of us being able to use our internet again was set for the beginning of the coming week. Since then, the date had been constantly postponed until the day it was finally changed to “we don’t know when you can use your internet again”.

We have already tried to escalate the problem by writing a letter to Vodafone’s escalation department. Unfortunately, the reply we received was “Please start a new topic on our forum and somebody will take a look into your problem one day”. I’m really sorry but that would just sound wrong coming from an escalation department of any company left alone the giant like Vodafone.

In the end of my review, I just recommend to any potential clients not to waste their time with Vodafone Kabel Deutschland. You’re better off with some other provider.

Disappointing all the way

when I first joined Vodafone they promised me a free Netflix account, that's how they lured me into signing up for a TV plan. Once the package arrived, they said the offer expired and I missed the 2 weeks cancellation period. I hat to pay the plan for 2 years. When I had technical issues I tried to reach the customer service for 4 days until someone finally got back to me. Now they charged me 300€ for a device I never used and sent back, admittedly with a little delay, but had received a confirmation. They finally refunded the 300€ but meanwhile they sent out warnings to cut off my connection for late payments.

Day Time Robbery

Even one star is too much for Vodafone. I have been the Kabel Deutschland Customer and I was paying 19.99€ Euros every month for more than 3 years before Vodafone took over Kabel Deutschland. After that Vodafone increased the price to 29.99€ per month. They then sent their executives to persuade me to change the contract stating I am paying a lot of money. With the new contract I will pay only 19.99€/month. So deal I agreed. The robbery started after 6 months.
After 6 months, they increased the tariff to 40€ per month. End of the year they changed it to 54€/month. At the end of the 2 years they increased it to 84€/month for the same service. Trust me. This is what happened to me.
I now closed the contract now. But they are mailing me with the offers. I will not even entertain them.

Terrible

Terrible. After they bought Unitymedia they managed to destroy a perfectly good service provider. For 3 years I had no issues with Unity Media and after Vodafone takeover it was the worst possible internet since the 90s. Terrible, just stay away from Vodafone!

Just DON'T!!! no transparency!! No service!!

It's just the most annoying company ever, terrible service, no internet all the time or very slow! They attracted me with 18€ a month and never explained me the small written stuff which most of us don't read that I will pay 45€ in the next year! Although I looked to my contract that Its written I could change to different Tarife, they told me that the Tarifes u see in the internet are only for new customers so I went from 4G to 1 G high speed only to reduce 10€... They never answer or after half an hour, and when u reach somebody they tell u oh u need that department. And they refuse to transfer ur call so u have to go through all the terrible calling process again! Just terrible! When I finally could do Kündigung they started to keep sending me offers and and, I hate how people lies. There were days with no internet at all I reclaimed to get a refund and they didn't ever react!
Don't go to Vodafone kabel Deutschland.

As bad as it gets

I cannot begin to explain what a painfully bad experience we've had with Vodaphone - I don't recall ever being left literally speechless with my mouth open at how bad a customer service is.

After harassing my girlfriend (a Vodaphone customer for 10 years) into signing up to their cable service, with promises of a 1000mb connection (hah), we have spent countless hours over the course of 5 painful weeks unsuccessfully trying to get assistance with a service that simply does not function.

Today, after being told our router was in fact defekt and they would be sending (a second person) out to visit us to attempt to fix it (we waited 8 days for the first technicians unsuccessful visit), I finally lost patience and informed them I would like to cancel the contract.

I was then told, that because there was no ticket from the tech department to confirm that the internet/router was not working, we would be liable to pay the fee for the full 2 year contract. Bear in mind, we have had 3 open 'tickets' from that department during the course of the 5 weeks in which the internet has not worked once. Upon asking to be connected to the complaints department, I was told they are only available via post (I'm not lying).

I am now unfortunately having to pursue this with a lawyer. Harrassing someone into signing a contract on false pretences, providing a service that does not function, and locking someone into a contract because there is no logged 'proof' from their own department. Sounds like fraud to me. Avoid at all costs.
