Very disgusting! Vodafone Germany cheated me! Sehr widerlich! Vodafone Deutschland hat mich betrogen!
02.2017, I was using Vodafone DSL(started from 01.2016); Vodafone workers came to my home and told me that they will stop all DSL, and all DSL users have to be transferred to Cable. I checked with them (unfortunately, not audio recorded), and they told me that all the charges will not change until 31.12.2017(my DSL 24 months are fully filled), and I can cancel my contract with them at the end of 2017, even though they don't wish to, because to the end of 2017, the 24 months are fully filled, the two technicians even called someone and then reconfirmed with me this. Then they asked me signed on their pad or did not ask for me to sign, I can not remember clearly because I was focused on checking with them whether the cable will charge the same as the DSL until the end of 2017 and contract to cancel will be affected or not. They didn't give me any document like the past times, they said that they can not find a print shop.
08.2017, I send them a canceling letter and asked to end the contract at 31.12.2017, and received the confirming letter. I stop the internet and send back their modulator box. Now they are still cutting money from me and say I need to full fill my contract with them to 02.2019. And also, I rechecked my bank, they actually only charged me two months as the DSL after the shift. Later they charged me much more. Even including the TV fee which I never used and applied (of course, they gave me a doc shows a TV package, but they said the charge will start from next year (2018) if I will use it, and if I don't I can cancel it).
Besides, the Vodafone Cable internet is not stable, sometimes, it is quite slow. In my DSL using time, I once have waited for them a very long time to fix it.
In the past, I always thought Germany positively, their products are good quality, their services are good, and German people are honest. Now, this totally ruined my positive impressions.
One of the most Developed country in …
One of the most Developed country in European Union Germany. Using Vodafone Kabel Deutschland internet is terrible service much expensive. Most worst Service provider. Disappointed with contract paying high price for a worst internet connection
So worst piece of service available on …
So worst piece of service available on this planet. I have a 2 year contract and 15 months have passed and I haven’t used a single kilobyte of Internet single kilobyte please notice. I’m paying 35 euros a month . Calling Vodafone nine of them could speak English or transfer my call to service department and some of them came up with racist comments on the service. On email there is no sastisfactory repaonse too. I asked someone to talk in german and even then we are not able to get any satisfactory response. It’s terrible . Vodafone Deutschland a *** piece of service don’t buy any of this epsically if you’re a foreigner.
This company act as in stoneage
This company act as in stoneage. Is it 2017 really?? Password for wifi goes 3 weeks per post, while invoice is here immediately, so you pay for the time you hadn´t internet. When the quality is bad - they do nothing, you just have to pay. Time waiting on the line, no answers to emails, ticket form, nothing. Nothing is possible! And I wanted to change wifi to kabel - not possible. So I ordered kabel separate - no answer, so I went to another operator. Absolutely terrible company with worst service I have EVER experienced. I don´t believe. This is Germany, in 2017?
Completely unacceptable service
Completely unacceptable service. Very slow connection and with a lot of interruptions. The phone is not working at all for the last month and it's impossible to reach any customer support or file a complaint. Stay away, this is definitely the worst possible provider in Germany. It feels like the modem age 15 years ago.
Sehr schlecht
Sehr schlecht! On a 100Mbps connection, you have to wait couple of minutes to open a simple web page. Most of the time internet is so slow to not even usable. Not recommended at all.
Terrible
Terrible experience with Vodafone-Kabel:
1. We live in a Neubau and when we registered, we gave 9a instead of 9 for the address number. It took 3 weeks and at least 20 phone calls to have this changed. Each time we called, it was a ping pong game: Vodafone would tell us they made the change and that their subcontractor (that installs the plugs) had the info but when we called the subcontractors they would say that Vodafone didn't send the updated address.
2. We have a 50Mb/s contract but in the evenings and on the weekends (so basically when you need it), it is more between 1 and 3 Mb/s. Probably their infrastructure can't handle the load.
So as a summary: stay away from them.
EDIT: On top of that, I am charged almost double of what I signed for. Apparently they will fix that next month, but yet another problem.
The worst customer service I have e …
The worst customer service I have ever witnessed, I book an option and two days later it is not booked, no confirmations, nothing. I'm being pushed 5 to 6 times from one telephone to another and have to explain one thing multiple times. I am absolutely disgusted as they clearly enjoy making people angry. I will never, EVER buy anything from Vodafone and will tell other people likewise.
S T A Y A W A Y - I would give -100000 if i could
I moved to Germany with my family in Dec 2013. We moved to Potsdam (around 30km/18miles) outside of Berlin - the capitol city.
We were sold 25 mbps connection, I am a web dev and have worked in IT for 20 years (4 of which were support).
For starters - not only could they not supply anywhere near 25 mbps in Potsdam, when questioned they told us and said it would NOT be available for another in 12 months, but we'd still have to pay for 25mbps as thats what we signed up for!!!! This, in the UK is ILLEGAL!
So, 15 months later, we get something like 25 mbps - maxed at 17mbps when no one else was online.
We have had consistent problems with this company and their connection, 2 years later I am currently on 0.41mbps average today, having had the the technicians around 4 times in the last 2 months. Complete black out of internet connection every other week for days, the techs come round, replace a metal plate and leave.
Last time, they told me it was the kabel Deutschland digital box causing the problem! Unbelievable - which by the way, on another point DO NOT GO WITH KABEL DEUTSCHLAND digital service either, I can only assume they use blind monkeys (and I mean no offence to blind monkeys here, their plight is an untold story in a harsh world) to build their digital box. It is literally the worst piece of electrical kit I have ever seen. Its slow, requires a degree to use it, and is as user friendly as a toilet with no seat.
Anyway, the internet - I don't even know if this will post, thats how confident of my connection.
SO, tech guy coming round tomorrow, wonder whats next. Perhaps its the colour of our walls thats causing the problem now...could be, you never know.
Seriously, its 2016 and this company is like living in the UK in 1994 trying to connect to the internet.
Oh, my Vodafone mobile is LTE (4G) and is quicker consistently than my home connection, so much so I occasionally hotspot my mobile internet to my laptop! Thats how bad they are.
But we got €25 recently for the inconvenience! Yay us!
Disgruntled, fed up and waiting for "yet another tech" to visit.
I had to close my bank account to make them stop sending me bills after closing the service.
Kabeldeutschland sold me an internet connection. Since I don't speak German, they had no problem using English to sell the product. I lived in Flensburg where I have a Danish cell phone and can still reach the connection from Denmark.
Almost 2 years later I moved back to Denmark and could no longer continue the cooperation with Kabeldeutschland. I send them an email where they wanted me to prove that I moved. I did that. That was not enough though and this is where the problems started!
They wanted to send me a mail with a free number I had to call in order to completely end the contract. That number only works from a German phone though. Therefore I sent them an email that I cannot call that number from a non-German phone. They simply replied:
"Sehr geehrter Herr Brandt,
Dann rufen Sie uns einfach an!
Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Johanna Kröger"
After this I tried to rephrase and tell them in different ways that I wanted to comply but that it was physically impossible without a German phone. They continued to reply with the same answer as listed above until they finally blocked me and informed me that all future communication should go through the website and that they would no longer answer my emails.
In a conclusion, they sell the product in English, no problem - but once you are a customer, you can never get out unless you close your bank account - take care of this scam!
