I have used Kaspersky for more than 15 years now and I would not purchase from anywhere else. Excellent customer services, excellent security, so why go anywhere else. It does what it says on the tin!

Good antivirus but impossible to cancel automatic subscription. Time for a change.
Do NOT auto-renew
Do NOT auto-renew. Their instructions on how to auto-renew are old and do not work as per the screenshots. It is a very lenghty and confusing process. When I eventually got there I kept getting error messages. I have now emailed customer service. We will wait and see how this goes.
Beware of subscription
I have tried to cancel this subscription for 5 years now. Despite having moved 7 years ago and the credit card used expired 6 years ago. This company ignores my cancellations attempts. Makes it very unclear as to how to cancel and somehow manages to continue to take subscriptions . Do not subscribe !

Very poor customer service…
The ability to get help via a real person is literally impossible. If you're basically computer illiterate, meaning you use it for very basic stuff like email and reading new articles, your stuck when trying to fix a problem. They send an email and ask for so much information, then another for more info, and it continues over and over most of which I don't even understand what they're asking for. You let them know this and they just send more emails that don't help, leaving incredibly frustrated. What really bothers me is that I don't even know how bad this virus is. I'm ready to reset my computer to factory settings because of this. I would not recommend this product simply for this reason.

New Software Failures
After many years of using Kaspersky Security I am thinking of leaving or downgrading. It tells me every so often that a drive is about to fail, yet all diagnostics tell me it is very good. I have free VPN with my new purchase Kaspersky Pus. Well, I would have if it worked. It remains switched off until I activate it, only for it to switch off again within a short time. It was one of the reasons I bought the Plus version. Kaspersk,y in spite of loads of emails and diagnostics, have failed to address the issues.

I am reviewing kaspersky customer service only, as I didn’t use the product but was signed up to it through Onestream.
After leaving Onestream, I saw that a couple of months later, a year’s subscription for kaspersky had been debited from my account which I did not authorise. Trying to get through to Onestream is impossible, so I emailed kaspersky direct. They got back to me within a day, stating that I needed to claim my money back through Onestream but if I encounter problems, to get back to them and they would try to sort it out. I managed to finally get my refund through Onestream in the end and thought no more about it, however a couple of weeks later I received an email from kaspersky asking whether my refund was sorted or whether I’d like them to step in and help. (This email went straight into my spam so I didn’t see it at the time) another couple of weeks later and they sent another email asking whether my problem was solved and if I’d got my refund or whether they could assist me further. I really appreciate their follow up enquiries and their willingness to help sort my refund. If I was to get virus protection in the future, Kaspersky would now be my no.1 choice due to their terrific customer service.

ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICES
My Kaspersky Total Security renewal subscription (which I had for 8 years) doubled in price, so I switched to another Anti-virus supplier.
I uninstalled the old Kaspersky application from my system (using Windows Uninstaller), but when tried to install some new software I purchased, I got the error message:
"The installer is unable to configure the the firewall because a third party firewall (Kaspersky Total Security) is installed on this system. This may limit the network connectivity of this application."!!
I contacted Kaspersky Customer Services to resolve the issue, but it took 38 DAYS, 25 Email exchanges, numerous online Help Desk conversations, several remote access sessions by their so-called "experts" and MANY, MANY HOURS OF MY TIME UTTERLY WASTED before I was able to install the Software that the residual Kaspersky software left on my system prevented me from doing.
Poor customer service
I had a problem with a lack of protection to 3 devices which the licence covers me for and I contacted their customer services department and they were unable to help. In fact the 2 people I contacted spoke English so poorly that I could not understand what they were saying. I have since uninstalled this software and have purchased alternative software.

Autorenewal despite having cancelled. For the second year running it has renewed despite me cancelling it. Again I'm going to have to go to my bank. Their support process doesn't allow you to speak to anyone, just sends you round in circles.

I've had Kaspersky for YEARS but it has now gotten expensive and the software itself is awful! Bloatware basically
It blocks programs that I know are safe, constant stream of notifications, constantly asked if I want to "open in safe browser" yet that doesn't work and causes more issues than it's worth
The VPN is soooooooooo slow and a whopping free 300MB daily use! This should be free!!!!!
Try and cancel your subscription and I guarantee it will cause you headache after headache especially if you purchase through digital river. You will be sent around and around in circles and then give up which is what Kaspersky do on purpose so that people get so stressed trying to cancel that they just live with it. Well that's not me!
Both Kaspersky's websites and digital rivers are designed specifically to try and stop you cancelling by "hiding the cancel button". For example, the actual guidance on how to cancel from Kasperky is login to my kaspersky click subscriptions and cancel .. well .. that option isn't even there!!!

This just about VPN - worst from the three I tried
Well, I dont know how you guys use VPN, but as I find my idea of simply click connect and dont care is utopia (applies for express, cyberghost and kaspersky)
Kaspersky is worst - I dont know how it works, but all my startup programs (or other VPNs) start immediently, but kaspersky vpn is starting like 2 minutes (and its not even listed in startup programs)
Same problem as with express vpn - I make a rules - but after disconnecting , kaspersky doent remember them...... well, enjoy
Auto renewal AFTER cancellation
There was no option to cancel auto renewal so I deleted my whole account. 3 weeks later, Kaspersky still auto renewed. I am sure this breaks many parts of the contractual commitment, possibly law and certainly PCI DSS compliance as they used my payment details AFTER the deletion of my account.
Kaspersky is all good…
Kaspersky is all good and what you expect them to be: can protect you online against all the virus and malware, and does it job well.
However, the -1star denotes to the fact that they can be heavy on the systems and thus slows the PC for a bit, especially the i3 or Ryzen 3 processors.
