Protection across many devices
Like the features, pricing is alright.
Feature packed
Scheduled scans take care of most of my worries. Makes my PC lags sometimes but it could be my system. Good overall
Very bad customer service
To make the long story short. I needed a license key reset as i got the message "excedded the maximul number of allowed activations" . As required i provided proof of purchase but customer support was very rude and refused to help. Now i cant use yhe product for which i paid. "God bless you". I hope you do not have to go through such experiences as i did. As proof there is a support case nr INC000015013577.
Excellent and trustworthy AV
Excellent AV for my business and personal devices and from a trustworthy company that has unfortunately been caught up by Putin's invasion of Ukraine. With Russian IT companies only paying 3% tax there will very little money from these companies going to Putin.
Tech support non existent - Did it myself
I have used Kaspersky for many year probably in excess of 15 and the application has always been fit for purpose. I now use Kaspersky total security on 5 devices, PC 2 x Android Tablets and 2 x Android phones. Up until about a week ago updating the activation code just prior to the current code expiring was dead easy. I should say I purchase my codes via a 3rd party provider from an online site and it has always worked. So I have 2 licences (activation codes) ready for our phones but when I tried to add the the new activation code there is nothing on the phone app that will let me do this. There used to be a tab top left that took you to the place ti input a new code. It's somehow disappeared. I was taken down the route of MY Kaspersky (which I don't really use) but again nothing. I set up the new activation code but it told me I had only use 1 of 5. Actually I had use 3 of 5. My Kaspersky looks nothing like the reality of my devices. I contacted Kaspersky direct and there Tech sent me on a wild goose chase of something that did not work. In the end I had to delete the app and reinstall it. NOT HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE. Off to AVG later this year.
Activation key, but subscription already ticking
I got an activation key, but the subscription is not starting from when I activate it, but from the time I bought. So I pay even if I am not using it at all. Disappointed.
I am very satisfied with Kaspersky…
I am very satisfied with Kaspersky protection and the pricing for that Kaspersky have 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The reason I give one ⭐ is the false advertisement on Kaspersky premium with Unlimited VPN
The issue is with the unlimited VPN
Where they say that the bundle is for 3 users/ 5 devices, but that isn't true.
I literally wasted all yesterday evening calling Kaspersky support. The solution they give me was uninstall an install back the app on my phone. Just today we got there where I received terms and conditions that stated
"Limitations also apply to the Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection service – it can be used only under the owner’s account and can’t be shared across other accounts."
Just information with this limitation is nowhere to finde on they website kaspersky co uk premium subscription
where Kaspersky is advertising Kaspersky Premium with unlimited VPN.
So in my appinion that is false, missleeding advertisment.
Don't fall for this, I hope Kaspersky will look into this matter and change the information.
They've got to go.
This company has always given excellent support and products. I've been a customer of their complete packages for many years but with the current political climate and the fact that my subscriptions were up for renewal I decided that I cannot knowingly give a single red cent to Russia so it's goodbye I'm off to Nord.
Thought I'd try something different for…
Thought I'd try something different for a change when renewal time came up, having used Zonealarm Extreme for years. Yes, it works ok but one big annoyance has surfaced. One thing I do like is software that just works in the background, only notifying me if something is truly amiss. Unfortunately, although I have all the notification settings set to OFF, yesterday, I was reminded, yet again about using VPN. And today, how to clean up my computer. It's trash info. Totally unasked for. When I have notifications set to OFF, I expect exactly that. This software will be going in the bin. I see Zonealarm are doing big discounts, I'll be paying the extra for a quiet uninterrupted life.
The Russian-owned company has been…
The Russian-owned company has been reported to be in communication with Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) and is responsible for providing them with real-time intelligence and identifying data of customers’ computers. Yet another security firm that is embelished in IRONY.
Charged £49.99 after deleting the account
Deleted the account on 12th of December, the email said "Your devices and subscriptions are disconnected, personal security settings are reset. Discount offerings are cancelled". Two weeks later I received an attempted charge of £49.99 on my bank account. Avoid at all costs.
Kaspersky is still renewing my…
Kaspersky is still renewing my membership by auto-renewal for the past 2 years, despite my written requests for them to cancel my membership. I haven't used their services or their products for the past 18-24 months.
Kaspersky still take your money after your account has been deleted...
I decided this year to cancel my subscription to Kaspersky yet they made it exceptionally difficult to do so. I finally managed to delete my account and all associated subscriptions. However, one month later, 89.99£ was been taken from my account from Kaspersky. I have requested a full refund. I will keep this updated if I actually get the refund...
UPDATED: I got the refund sent to me by contacting customer support.
Awful treatment of existing customers, impossible to amend subscriptions
I've been a Kaspersky customer for 11 years. I now have two separate subscriptions because it is so difficult to amend them to add more users and devices. I now want to add my wife and they've asked me to start a 3rd subscription instead of allowing me to combine them all into one. A new customer could get this for about £20 per year. Because I'm an existing customer, I would have to pay £120.
I asked to speak to their team and received no callback so will cancel all my subscriptions and move to BitDefender as soon as they run out.
It should be so easy to expand your subscription, especially as a long-time customer, but unfortunately Kaspersky aren't interested in rewarding loyalty. Really disasppointing.
Impossible to cancel subscription
Great product but when Russia went a bit mad, I decided to cancel my subscription. I closed my account and was promised that all auto renewals would be cancelled. They were not. Money has been taken from my PayPal account for a product I no longer use. This has happened to several of my friends who also cancelled at the same time.
Charged without signing up
I didn't want this product but was automatically signed up with my broadband with minimal warning. They charged me for a full year's subscription before I noticed. Deceptive practices, I wouldn't trust them.
Hello
Hello, Kaspersky is an excellent product regardless of the product, the problem is that I cannot use this product bought from the UK in Romania, thank you
New version Kaspersky antivirus…
New version Kaspersky antivirus standart and premium, blocking KeyScrambler app. Old Kaspersky Internet security work well. No more trust to this antivirus, they lost loyal customer. Start looking another solution.
p.s. customer service good, but useless.
