An unexpectedly educational experience in how difficult it can be to obtain a refund for faulty goods.

The original lamp arrived faulty. The replacement then arrived cosmetically marked despite being sold as “new” — apparently this was not considered a problem because it still technically functioned. A rather interesting interpretation of what “new” means.

Following extensive back and forth, I was advised that a refund had been processed and even provided screenshots showing a “successful” refund. Unfortunately, the actual money appears to have missed the memo, as it has never arrived despite waiting well beyond the timeframe advised.

The current solution seems to be for the customer to chase payment providers and investigate the missing refund themselves, despite the retailer being the party that processed it. An innovative approach to customer service.

A disappointing experience overall and certainly not the level of aftercare one might expect when purchasing professional equipment.

When I stumbled across Katie Barnes e-file products, I wondered to myself “what makes this brand any different to my Amazon bits?”. Well I was proven wrong!

All my bits (especially the 5-in-1, and sanding discs) dramatically reduced the time it took for me to debulk my sets. Additionally, I noticed a difference in the retention and cleanliness of my cuticles after using KB’s Curved Cuticle Scissors. I wouldn’t look back.

I can not recommend the brand enough. I have brought so many of my nail prep staples from Katie. Their customer service is incredible. When my parcel was stolen, they have send out another one very quickly.

And £10 Tuesdays are a life saver. You can get great quality E-File bits, manual prep tools and even online courses for £10!!!

And speaking of courses... Do them! They are easy to follow and so informative. You can do it at your own pace and you get lifetime access. I have about 25 left to finish. But I love that I don't have to rush.

And lets not forget about the light. I looooovvveee it. It was expensive, but worth every penny. It's adjustable and dimmable. Also there are 3 light sources rather than 1 which makes doing the sidewalls a breeze.

I can literally go on and on, but just try them. You will not regret it!

I brought a light from Katie Barnes and I ended up losing the power cable for it and only found the US plug or the EU plug on the website. I emailed customer service and they had a spare UK plug which I could purchase from them directly! 5 stars customer service team! Would highly recommend them 🖤

I took a break from being a nail technician and for the past year I’ve decided to restart my business. I done a lot of research into different products and suppliers and when I came across Katie Barnes tool range I instantly fell in love. I purchased the desk light the dust collector the e-file the viral curved cuticle scissors e-file bits and many other tools. This is a collection that I will continue to use and I can honestly say the detail and the quality are 10 out of 10 the customer service is always a five star rating in my opinion and I don’t think I’ve come across any issues with any of the KB to range. I look forward to any other New releases in the Future to add to my collection. From start to finish - top service! Their social media approach focuses so well on how to's and why you need their products without being pushy or salesy. They also respond to every comment which is so refreshing compared to other brands I have bought from.
I had a few more detailed questions as I have moved to them from a different brand so some of their efile bits were unfamiliar. I completed their "contact us" form and received the lovliest email back from someone who had taken the time to read every point and answer so well.
I placed an order for some new bits and 3 masterclasses and got such good value on one of their sale weekends. I absolutely love the efile bits I bought and I cant wait to get stuck into the masterclasses!

Just received another order and the tools were just chucked in a box. No protection or bubble wrap… This is my second order to have this lack of protection so it is obviously the norm now.

Not the cheapest nail tools so I expected a bit more care

I purchased 7 masterclasses from KB Range to refresh my skills. I found the courses very informative, especially in an industry where enhancements and tools change regularly. Once my courses were complete I could claim and print my certificates instantly, which makes the process so much easier.

Omg what can I say about the cuticle tools and nippers, absolutely amazing and total game changer, I just need that viral light now, I'd sell a kidney for 1 of them 🤣🤣🤣

I have around 70 products from this brand and I have nothing bad to say about a single one of them, everything does what it’s supposed to and makes my life 1000x times easier as a nail tech! My clients love the professional look and I love the use! The tools have made me faster, smoother and has given my desk a luxury upgrade! My favourite items have to be the 6 in 1 cross cut in medium grit (I can debulk in just 15 seconds 🫢) and the Ultrasonic cleaner with the disinfectant tray keeps my cleaning process fast and easy! I also loveee the e file it’s so smooth and has really helped with the pain in my hands as I don’t feel any of the vibrations. This brand really is the BEST and i’m so glad I found them at the start of my career 🥰🥰

This company truly deserves 5 stars & more. Their products are amazing the best I’ve used, there’s so much care & attention put it to them. Their customer service is outstanding. And they actually care about their customers always offering advice & tutorials, they give back to their customers too. Their online courses are fantastic.
