Keen advertised the Targhee 2 as being waterproof. It never showed signs of even being water resistant. The manmade portion of the lower outer surface failed within 3 1/2 weeks. Sole shows separation... See more

Atomic Footbed Will boil up your feet.
I have bought 3-4 pairs of the Newport Sandal over a period of 6-7 years all geat stuff, the last time I went into the same outdoor shop I have used for years i thought i would try a slightly non leather model, ( can't rember the exact model but it looked just the same as the Newport but with an Anatomic Footsole and manmade fabric straps, the sandal i have to say our brilliantly comfortable and are fine for Winter use ( who wares sandals in the winter ?!! ) as soon as the temperature rises your feet just boil up !! the sole must be the most unbreathable type of material i have ever come across in the shoe, You might as well ware a pair of wellies instead, dreaful design MR Keen !!

Terrible footwear...approximately 2 years old...and the rubber bottom separated from the shoe. It was supposed to be a waterproof shoe...
Getting them repaired (hopefully) at a shoe repair shop....he said he sees this ALL the time.
DONT BUY KEEN!
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I KNOW OF
Customer service hours are banking hours, so if you have a hiccup or glitch "after hours," you are very stuck. When you call DURING their hours, you are placed on hold for a very, very, very, very long time with no answer whatsoever. In the meantime, you wander over to the chat link. "Chat" leads you to a notice that they are going to call you back in 24 hours (?!) about your $500 order. Do they not make enough income to pay even five people to man the phones? Cannot speak to the current quality of the product itself, as I placed an order that shows "paid" but never actually shipped. When you do reach someone by phone, it is basically a "I'd have to reach out to someone on that and get back to you..." This company is not what it once was. :(
AVOID
AVOID Paid over $100 (on sale!) for a pair of Keen Targhee II waterproof shoes. In six month they are nolonger waterproof. Bot them last November from Keen.com
The soles are delaminating, cracks on the sides and the toe bumber has separated.
Not worth it !
My wife has a keen “waterproof “ sandal that Was barely used over the years so i would consider them in excellent condition and on our retirement trip she put them on and the complete sole fell off …. Keen said if they are a certain age they don’t cover this …So they are not waterproof ! I wish i could show you photos because they look brand new …. We buy from other outdoor stores and were never dismissed like this ! Lands End, LLBean! Disappointed Customer!!!
Will only last about 12 months
I bought a pair of Targhee walking shoes. After using 3-4 times the sole basically fell off rendering them un-usable. I took to a shoe repairer who informed me that he had seen several people with the same problem and that the sole is glued in two pieces, rather than moulded in one piece, and as such is impossible to repair. They are expensive but extremely poor quality.
I used to drink the Kool-aid
I have bought over 20 pairs of keen shoes throughout the years. They fit my feet as a wide footed person and I can wear them all day without any discomfort. That was until about 6 or 8 years ago. The quality and workmanship has steadily declined and I should have known better. This last pair of Targhee 3 oxfords passed my initial inspection when I first got them, so I put them away and waited until I needed them. I recently had to go overseas for a month on a combination business and holiday. I only brought these keens as they would be great for business casual and walking around European cities after work everyday. Not a week in and I noticed this evening the sole has almost completely delaminated from the upper. Totally inconvenient and now I must find a replacement somehow. Keen really let me down this time and I'm here to warn others not to make the same mistake I did. Toss them and find a better show before you're stuck with this garbage somewhere. I will never buy another pair of Keen shoes again.
KEEN - The Art of Falling Apart
I purchased a pair of Keen
Men's Targhee II Waterproof Mid Wide (KTH 010423) at considerable cost to me with the hope that I would have years use. Bought in November of 2023 the fabric near the toe began to fray 4 months after purchase, and at the time of writing is now fully torn through. I use these for walking the dog, not for Special Forces maneuvers. I will never buy footwear from Keen again - this level of poor workmanship is outrageous considering the cost of their products. Keen gave me credit without a receipt for less than the amount I paid, but it did nothing to warm me to this company.
Terrible customer service with a very wasteful policy!!
I put in an online order yesterday and came back to cancel the order. The order has not been shipped and was still in processing. There is no option to cancel or modify an order. I spoke with someone named Julia and she informed me that they do not allow a person to cancel or modify their order, once you have hit the submit button. The purchaser has to wait for them to package and ship the order to you, then you have to package and ship it back. I am very shocked to see a company that claims to have a positive impact on the worlds resources, chose this as a policy. I would understand if the item was already shipped but the order wasn't even ready. This is a waste of resources and very disappointing. I would expect this from a shady company oversees but an Oregon company that claims to be environmentally conscientious?? Clearly they are not. Once I ship the items back, I will not be modifying my order I will go somewhere else. I advise anyone who is believing that they are buying a better shoe/experience just because of their advertising to really consider other options.
Mixed Bag Newport H2 YES but Caci III ???
All shoes purchased from a local brick&mortar store... First pair of KEENs in 2022, Newport H2 ... best, most comfortable pair of summer walking shoes I've ever owned. Went back for a second pair (spring sale 2023), got a pair of Newport H2 and a pair of Caci III slip-ons that were and still ARE just wonderful.
Noted that Caci III was not available at official KEEN website, local store ordered for me and I received two pairs of Caci III within two weeks.
Silly me - I did not open the boxes right away and missed the return window :(
The two new pairs of Caci III do not have the WALK insoles that my first pair did - they have thin, flat inserts that provide no support. They are also far larger and more roomy than the first pair, despite bearing IDENTICAL origin/manufacturer labels on the boxes. The soles (new Caci III) are rock hard and hurt my feet, even with brand new WALK insoles. UNWEARABLE :(
(Note: KEEN does not sell the WALK insoles from their website, and my local store does not stock insoles of any kind... I had to search far and wide...)
Lesson learned, KEEN.

I had two pairs of keen boots and the sole came off both I tried to make contact with the company unsuccessful very poor I would never buy keen boots ever again or recommend them.
The most uncomfortable boots I have EVER…
The most uncomfortable boots I have EVER put on my feet. If you walk on a blade of grass you can feel it through the soles. They offer no comfort or protection to the foot. Avoid this brand at all costs
Its a fake website
Its a fake website, I realised after I had put in my bank details so I got my bank to cancel my card. There is a real Keen shoe website which seems fine, but expensive. It has paypal at checkout.
product has changed in the quality not the support they use to give heel of shoe is soft now which gives no support .
Seacamp 2 kids shoes
Awesome Boots.
May 3rd 2022 I purchased my 1st pair of Keen Pittsburgh Waterproof Work Boots.
Hands Down The Best Boots I Have Ever Owned. Comfortable & Tough, I have beaten these boots hard on a daily basis for nearly 2 years and they have just started showing signs of wear, truly awesome boots !!!
I am currently shopping their website for my next pair.
Since my first pair of Keens in 2010
Since my first pair of Keens in 2010, I appreciated the fit, the feel, and the wear. In 2015, a nylon eye tore; the rest of the boot was still great, so I wrote to see if they could help. They did, offering a prorated coupon for my next pair. So glad. I've walked/hiked hundreds of miles in NY, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, and ME. Just ordered my next two pair in 2024. I know that Keen stands behind those who stand in their boots.
I was scammed
I was scammed. Everyone please take care when ordering Keens shoes/sandals. A while ago I ordered a pair of Keen sandals . Initially I thought that everything was going to plan. I was given a tracking number and was able to track my sandals. The company looked as if it was genuine, however, all was not what it seemed and yes I was scammed. Please do not risk it and go directly to the shops to purchase.
I purchased a pair of Keen boots less…
I purchased a pair of Keen boots less than a year ago and they have quite simply fell apart, the upper has almost entirely seperated from the sole. They are not a cheaper boot but I have had far cheaper boots that have lasted more than twice as long, needless to say I will never purchase another pair.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam
They neither send you your order nor give you your money back.
For a few days it seems that everything is going well because they send you a tracking number for the shipment and there are movements in it, but after a few days it stops and although at first they answer you when you complain, asking for patience, then they stop doing so.
Is a scam
Amazing Warranty Claim Experience
I have owned many pairs of Keen's, but my latest pair of hiking boots began separating causing a breech in the waterproofing after 4 months. I filled out the online replacement form and, as instructed, replied to the claim confirmation email with the requested product photos. Within 5 days I received a credit for the replacement cost of the boots to use on their website. I ordered the replacement product, and it was delivered 3 days later. I have never had an easier experience with this type of claim.
