Keen advertised the Targhee 2 as being waterproof. It never showed signs of even being water resistant. The manmade portion of the lower outer surface failed within 3 1/2 weeks. Sole shows separation... See more

Success on Made in "USA"
Okay here is the deal: I was seeking to find my boyfriend a nice pair of boots for Christmas. I did NOT realize how difficult it would be to find made in USA. Most products say made in USA or imported. I could not chance ordering a boot & when it came say made in _____ (other than USA) Well I finally found this manufacturer who still makes some of their styles here in USA. So, after searching for days finall found a pair of boots made in USA. TY to Keen Boot co. Plus, I was able to find a boot within my price range. That is huge & great. So, thank you to Keen boot company. I hope he likes the boots as much as I was to finally get American made!
These shoes used to be great..now…stop buying keens
These shoes used to be great..now there're complete garbage..I've hardly worn them and the soles ate falling off..I'm done spending the money on these shoes.
I purchased footwear
I purchased footwear, it never arrived, customer service is absolutely terrible, I just a series of poorly written bizarre messages. I had shoes from Keen before and loved them so it was v disappointing. I got mailed a tiny pair of sunglasses instead, I feel perhaps a scam company might be piggybacking on the actual website but I tried contacting the original company website also, they did not respond at all. My advice is don't buy online from them without communicating with them first.
No item after almost a month of ordering
Purchased a pair of boots on 16/11/23 for. The keen uk factory outlet online and still haven’t received the item.
Have emailed customer service a week ago and still heard nothing, terrible service no phone number and no tracking so for all I know the boots haven’t even been dispatched yet???
Won’t be purchasing from this site again, shame as I have some of their boots and they are great !
Just Starting on My Third Pair
I am just starting on my third pair of Keen work boots. I wear them 365 days a year and work in an industrial environment among all kinds of foot hazards and chemical filth. All 3 felt light and active like a trusty old pair of cross-trainers, right out of the box. I am only replacing my Cincinnatis with Camdens because they're cosmetically beat to hell. Both prior pairs are completely serviceable and held in reserve. There was a minor defect on my most recent purchase and they express-shipped a replacement pair ahead of the defective return. Customer service was immediately responsive and completely met my expectations. I too am baffled by negative reviews of this company. The value for the money is just incredible accounting for the high quality and durability of their shoes. I am particularly pleased to support American manufacturing. Thanks, Keen team!
I trust the Keen brand!
I am baffled by the 1.5 rating. Have been using Keen for nearly 20 years - just bought some more this past Cyber Monday. They have always been excellent in every way. I have been using Newport H2 sandals since 2004 and various models of Targhee hiking shoes for 10+ years - with great success and no problems worth speaking of - the only one I can think of was laces being too long on one Targhee pair. I can only guess that people have been buying from fake “Keen” websites?
Keen hiking boots
I’m an avid hiker and I recently purchased a pair of Keen hiking boots. Fit okay in store and just assumed they’d need a bit of breaking in. They are the most uncomfortable pair of boots I’ve ever owned. The ankle is so stiff that I ended up with blisters and bruises and could barely finish my hike. So disappointing.
My new Keen Rose sandals broke after…
My new Keen Rose sandals broke after four weeks. Not as good quality as my older pairs Don’t know if they where made in USA or somewhere in Europe but I did not recognise the shoes nor the quality
Comfortable but not durable
Purchased a pair of boots while we were on holiday in Wales. Very comfortable to wear. But after a year and very occasional use, the soles started to seperate and let water in. These were returned to the retailer and a replacement pair returned. Unfortunately they haven't learned from their manufacturing defects and the replacement boots again seperated from the soles a year later. Its a real shame as they were very comfortable but even with light use, not in the slightest bit durable. Wouldn't recommend and certainly wouldn't buy again.
BE AWARE OF SCAMS.
BE AWARE OF SCAMS.
I have previously purchased a pair of Keen shoes online and was very happy with my purchase. In need of a new pair of hiking boots, I again turned to Keen. Having attempted to purchase a pair from what appeared to be a genuine Keen outlet site, my bank stopped the payment. This was a fake company who attempted to take a payment much higher than the agreed price. There would appear to be a number of similar fake online sites.
The site I used was 'keenshoesfactoryoutletsuk.com' I would recommend that you stay away from this site and be wary of any other with a similar name.
Bad, just bad
I bought a pair of keen Cincinnati boots, the first pair, the sole completley wore through and tore within 3 months, the second pair the heel ripped off within one week, for $200 you think there would be a little quality control.
Poor quality shoe
Poor quality shoe, sole worn down at the heel after only 3 months, sent them back to Keen who took 4 weeks to return them to me saying nothing was wrong, not what they used to be, a Premium price but no longer a Premium product or customer service, would not risk buying again.
Have worn keens for well over a decade… They are not the same shoe they once were.
Have worn keens for well over a decade and never had any problems, even with heavy use they would last at least 24 months. Bought a pair around October of 2022 and with light use the soles separated. Got a new pair under their one year warranty and the exact same thing happened. Why bother anymore.
Item ordered and paid for and then…
Item ordered and paid for and then simply not delivered. Casio watch bought and paid for but did not arrive. Absolute scandal - who do I go to to complain about this company?
I thought I was buying good sandals
I thought I was buying good sandals. I live in the Jungles/ Mountains of the Philippines. Keens couldn’t even hang for 3 months. I have a pair of Hokas and Merrill’s that are tough as nails. I believe their factory is in Thailand perhaps they should put them thru the rigors there to see if they hold up. Totally poor quality shoe/sandal
A polo hat is not safety boots
I bought a pair of safety boots from keenshoenewzealand.com. Their customer service email is goodserviceforcusomer.com and credit card bill showed theworldgoods.com. I smelled scammers. Low and behold they sent me a $10 polo hat. Refused to give 100% refund. They offered 40%, then 38.5%, then 52%, mucked me around. I'm in the process of getting my bank to charge them back. I saw they have same website with different name keenfootwearnz.co.nz. Avoid Avoid avoid.
Keen websites are scams…
There are various Keen branded websites I think. I used one that claimed to be Irish. Like previous reviewers I have not received my order but a pair of sunglasses with the tracking number they had sent for the sandals that I had ordered. Also, although the price of the sandals were advertised in Euro, they charged me more of the advertised price claiming exchange variation which is rediculous. They now claim that the sandals are lost and now out of stock. They are refusing to send me a full refund. As yet I have not managed to get any refund. Do not order Keen sandals online unless you can verify the legitimacy of the website.
I have to agree with other people on…
I have to agree with other people on here l have bought Targhee boots over the years and these are the worst ever. They have fallen apart with very little wear on the soles. Such a shame as there the most comfortable of boots but I expect more at the price they are. Oh well back to searching for something more durable.
Keen sandals used to be great but...
Keen sandals used to be great. The quality has gone way downhill and they are falling apart quickly. Funny the price hasn't gone down!
Customer service was useless. I will not be buying any more Keens!
Bought a pair of mens Keen ridge flex…
Bought a pair of mens Keen ridge flex walking shoes, 2 years later the rubber flexy bit Infront of the lace is starting to split got in touch with Keen and they refuse to do anything about it so be aware when dealing with this company, very shabby service.
