Professionalism from start to Finish. We are delighted
In January we popped in to Kettle Co Gover Retail Park and met Jodie, we need a new kitchen installed in 2 phases over a 5 month period. The following day Jodie arrives at our house and helps us with the many possibilities we hadn’t even considered. 3 days later we go back and choose our kitchen, we want several changes to what we see in the showroom, everything was possible, from our colour choice to our design and a few things that maybe we thought didn’t exist but would have liked, Jodie made it work, a week later she was back at our house with drawings plans colours fittings and the next day we paid our deposit, having seen our dream kitchen in the showroom in rough draft with the magic of technology moving our appliances around in the blink of an eye as we were amazed at how Jodie had put this all together overnight for us to get a real view of how it could look on the big screen in the showroom. Throughout this time we received calls emails and updates almost daily, phase one was started and completed by Dave within a week. This kitchen was a mouldy old damp challenge with tiles, cupboards and appliances that were falling off the walls. Neither Jodie or Dave were phased by the task ahead. While phase 2 hasn’t begun yet, we know we are receiving simply the best advice, help and support and our time lines are a bit hit and miss and nothing is beyond their expertise. We wrote a review when we first met Jodie but it seems to have disappeared, but the things that we were so impressed by is the attention to detail we were given, every item checked on install and then checked after, when the kitchen arrived there were so many different parts “how do we check them all off”to check that they are “all” here, the answer is we don’t, once again Jodie came out ticked everything off while Dave checked everything was perfect. We really couldn’t have wished for better customer service, We have recommended Jodie at Kettle Co to several friends, notwithstanding her eye for design and her friendly approach her customer service skills are exemplary, her advice and guidance on what was realistically possible was a real eye opener, we didn’t think it could work how it has, we are so impressed. Being within HBH Woollcott’s is a real bonus as Jodie liaised with them (Victoria) also a wonderful friendly helpful lady who also gave us the best customer service about the appliances we had chosen from them to ensure fitting and delivery worked in harmony and we weren’t left without any appliances, We wish there was an above 5 Stars as this company has so got it right in every aspect. Excited for phase 2 in September is an understatement. The quality is fabulous, the fittings are solid the draws glide and the Belfast sink is a dream. Dave the fitter was the utmost in professionalism, clean ,tidy, helpful and maintained communication with us throughout the whole install, such a nice genuine guy to have in your home. We are the happiest couple to have found Kettle Co Jodie and Dave. We will update on phase 2 start to Finish and hope this review gets posted.
Fantastic to have a real design service
Wonderful service from Lily who showed us all the options in the showroom and then came out to our house, inspiring us with some new ideas as to how to make the best of awkwardly placed windows etc, to create a real dream kitchen. It was great to be dealing with someone who really knows her stuff and has a passion for great design.
Appalling Customer Service
We popped down to the Plymouth showroom and loved the kitchens on display and decided to proceed with a design and install of a new kitchen and utility room.
This design was actioned quickly and we went ahead with a start date booked for the October 2022……..
From the start we had issues, the list is endless.
Dates were changed at very short notice.
Lots of items had not been delivered.
Wrong items received.
A date had been booked for our worktops to be measured by an independent company that kettle use, I’d taken a day off work and waited all day for them to arrive only to find out that the company had cancelled the appointment and had sent an email to the designer and manager at Kettle advising them of this and neither of them had bothered let us know.
We were due a removal refund, we kept being told they would action this, 6 weeks later after me constantly badgering them we got our refund.
The list goes on……..
The customer service we received from Kettle was absolutely appalling, we constantly had to chase them for info/dates on when we were likely to receive the missing/correct items, I was popping into the showroom on a daily basis asking for them to chase the missing items only to be told “we will chase and call you back“ they never did……
The kitchen was eventually completed in February this year, we were originally told this would be a two week install and it actually took four months.
After taking legal advice and advising them of this we eventually got a completion date.
Their customer service is absolutely appalling and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
Excellent in all aspects.
Great all round, from designing, to products and knowledge, customer service and great quality products. Would go no where else and would definitely recommend them. Price is also very good and competitive. Always on the end of the telephone and any queries/questions get dealt with swiftly.
We have had a few new kitchens fitted and Kettle Kitchens certainly come out top.

From the first meeting (with Simon), nothing was too much trouble. The entire team (Inc. fitters) were incredibly helpful & professional. Choosing Kettle Co.’s fitters was the right choice, and we couldn’t praise them enough, especially Mark. We looked around at other kitchen showrooms, but when we walked into Kettle Co., we knew we would find our kitchen there, and we’re so happy with it!! Highly recommended. Thank you!!

I cannot see how they could have improved on the service we received.
We had approached several companies for a quote. Kettle Co were probably higher than average but not the most expensive. I liked their partnership with HBH Woolacotts (kitchen appliance sales). The service we received on each and every visit was perfect. Our designer was amazing. She listened to what we wanted and came up with a few very wise ideas herself. We changed or tweeked her design several times. This she did with enthusiasm and patience every time. We had to delay the start date many times as the kitchen fit was at the end of a building project which was delayed many times. Again this did not faze our designer who was always assuring and very obliging. The second element was the installation. I think I am correct on saying they will only install themselves. Our installer was excellent. Clean, quick and only settled for perfection.
It is a frightening amount of money but I cannot see how they could have improved on the service we received.

Had a really good experience. Esme our designer was great and sorted the couple of issues that arose efficiently. The kitchen is looking great and we are very happy with it. Tim Wells our kitchen fitter was brilliant and went out of his way to help.

A Fairytale Kitchen for our Cottage
Having moved to a cottage this year, we have just had a beautiful kitchen fitted by Kettle Co. and cannot fault the excellent help we received from the start. Tyler, the designer was so knowledgeable and made sure everything I wanted in the kitchen was included. She then managed the entire project and made sure everything arrived exactly when it should. We cannot fault the entire Kettle Co team and felt they did a great job. We had spent several months getting quotes and designs from all of the major companies, but none could compare with Kettle Co. Don't waste time looking around - go straight to Kettle Co. and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Poor service
Few minor issues with our kitchen which we are waiting repair on as part of the snagging list with our new build. We also paid for a built in wardrobe to be supplied and installed, at ‘only’ £2.5k I know this is small fry to them, but months later we still only have 3 out of 4 handles on it. This is aside from the fact that all of my correspondence requests a built in wardrobe, and I’ve been supplied with a fitted wardrobe. According to the St Austell manager I was supposed to know it was fitted and not built in, as 6 weeks after paying a 50% deposit they finally confirmed my order and sent a document, with an image of a plinth along the bottom. I should have known then apparently.
Pretty terrible service with delays from start to finish if I’m honest and I’m a disappointed customer who wouldn’t use them again. A family member was due to use them for a big kitchen job, but due to my experiences they went elsewhere at the last minute as didn’t want to risk it.
I’ve just updated this to a one star review, still no resolution to these issues despite the owner contacting me after seeing this.

We are still waiting..…
We are still waiting for a reply to our emails/ text messages ref our last two kitchen requirements… hob to be looked at as not sitting flush and one door to replace.
There are also a few screw heads not covered which look unsightly and the kitchen needs a good clean for various reasons.
Desperate to speak to Paul Mills who promises to call as we have our electrician coming to wire in appliances.
We do not want to waste time and money fitting appliances in units that may have to be removed, our patience is getting thin.
We would like our kitchen finished please as it’s been ongoing since June 2022.
If Dan and Simon would like to come and take a look they are more than welcome as we are not sure if the owners fully appreciate how frustrating it is having a kitchen programmed and fitted by their team.
Maybe we have just been unlucky ???
We’ve called and visited the showroom for a response, Hannah promised to email an update .. still waiting for this ??

Good Quality Kitchens and Excellent Design
We’ve given this review 5 stars for the quality of the kitchen, the design, fitting and flexibility of the Kitchen Designer at the Kettle showroom in Plymouth.
From the beginning Simon, the Kitchen Designer, took the time to listen to our preferences and make suggestions for improvements. He produced a brilliant design with great attention to detail and was very flexible throughout the process, even after the final sign-off.
We were also very pleased with the installation process. Attention to detail was excellent. As this is very specific to the fitter, we were really lucky to have Mark, who takes great care and pride in his work.
The whole process was carried out on schedule and we are very pleased with the quality and layout of the new kitchen.
It’s important to bear in mind that Kettle use contractors to rip out the old kitchen, carry out preparation work and install the new kitchen. With the exception of the installation, the cost of this work is extra and the contractors are paid directly. As a result we didn’t know how much the ripping out and disposal of the old kitchen, and electrical and plumbing preparation would cost when we were making decisions about the final design.
The use of contractors is supposed to keep costs down but it can lead to lack of control and poor communication. As the contractors will often be dealing with multiple customers, appointments can slip (as we found out).
In our experience this is the main area which could be improved. Rather than expecting customers to contact contractors, better project management by Kettle would help the process run more smoothly from the customer’s perspective.
Overall, however, we are really pleased that we chose Kettle and highly recommend them.

Great Job !
We went into the showroom looking for ideas, but came out with a kitchen ! We were initially impressed with the simple, contemporary, good quality kitchen furniture that we saw, then by the very helpful and professional designer who came to talk to us while we were there. Jodie listened more than she talked, didn't try to ram her ideas down our throats, and interpreted what we expressed into the design of a kitchen that met all of our requirements. The company employs expert fitters, and ours, (Dave) worked alone and built the kitchen to a very high standard. There were a couple of small hiccups along the way, mainly in the arrival of certain items that were out of the hands of the Kettle Team ( which is why i've given 4 stars) - but Jodie and the Team immediately got involved to resolve the issues creatively. We are really delighted with the result - its such a transformation in design and quality from our old one.. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Kettle at all.

Would definitely use Kettle Kitchens again
After visiting 4 different companies for our new Kitchen, we decided to go with Kettle Kitchens. After them being recommended to us, and meeting with them it was a no brainier. From start to finish we were more then happy with them. Simon gave us exceptional service, sorting out any problems straight away. Our kitchen looks amazing we’re so pleased with it, the design is brilliant and I love the fact the units are bespoke made.
Couldn’t of been happier, we would definitely use them again.
My new kitchen
I had a small, square, dark kitchen and I have waited 20 years for this moment!
From start to finish my new kitchen installation has been so smooth and efficient. Kettle work with the fitter, liaise with the appliance suppliers and worktop fitters and basically provide a complete service. The whole project has taken just under three weeks from removing the old to installing the new and I am so thrilled with the result.
