I purchased a sample order through…
I purchased a sample order through their site of the tech backpack. A standard size laptop doesn't fit in there, it's not wide enough. They said i should have checked the measurements. I didn't think I had to check measurements for something called TECH backpack which is usually for laptops. It's awkwardly long, so too long for Ipads or Tablets, I don't know what the purpose of this thing is, and I can't return it or anything because it was my fault. Second issue I had, I asked them if when I order a sample order there will be any prices or anything that shows it's them sending me, and they said no. When I received the product, there are Kincustom tags and their website on one of the tags, so good thing I didn't order a sample with the customer's address. The only good thing was the shipping being fast , but other than that I didn't have a good experience.
**I can't respond to your reply so I'm editing this to add that the order did NOT ship from Ohio, the tracking number shows CHINA so the customer WILL KNOW the product is from China. I don't understand why you're saying the final product comes from Ohio...?

So I am a shop owner (jfos design) I have been ordering samples from my space on kincustom.com an have been happy with the products created. However I just found out something was ordered from my shop on kin custom, yet I have no record of it in my orders! I have now reached out to kin custom and have gotten no response it has been 4 business days(follow up 5 days later) when they responded they were ambiguous. The third response made sense. I have a situation where someone is lying. A. Item was purchased an kin custom did not give me my percentage of the sale! And B. Item was never ordered an person that told me they had made order got the product an everything was cool was lying? Either way order today my situation will sort itself out one way or the other and you could have something delivered that is pretty neat!

I order a custom purse for my shop
I ordered a custom purse for my shop. I had a customer order said purse. Placed the order 6 weeks ago. No confirmation or anything. So I had to email them. First time it was a delay. Second time was returned from customs. Third time I demanded a refund! I haven’t gotten that yet either!!! I say scam!! Be ware. I’ve used other custom sites with no problem. All they do is take your money and lie! Better off elsewhere. 👎

DISHONEST POD COMPANY, PLACE YOUR ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK
I understand that delays are unavoidable but this one is full of lies and empty promises in their announcements and customer service. It seems like they are scamming customers by accepting orders but in reality, they cannot fulfill it at promised time. They just want to accept more orders. They always promise date of "getting back to normal" but when you placed your order, you will just get more than 2 weeks of delay (or maybe one month? forever? I don't know. As of this moment, my order is not yet shipped.
Here are series of Kincustom announcement published in their website and they just constantly change it to accept new customers even though they cannot fulfill on-time:
Kincustom Announcement:
"With all the added custom hoodies and shoes we are now creating on a daily basis, we are slowly outgrowing our britches. It is because of this, that our production time has slowed from under 3 days to more realistically 3-5 business days BUT don’t worry! We are actively adding to our production team to get your merch delivered faster. "
"Orders submitted from 7/10/2020-7/20/2020 will experience production delays."
- this was the latest announcement I saw when I submitted an order last 7/27 - date which is clearly after 7/20. I thought it will go smoothly and will be shipped after 3 - 5 business days.
August 3rd: I followed up and this was the response I got from their customer service named "Echo" via email
"I had a checking with fulfill center and we will try best send your package out on 08/07."
August 7th came and still they haven't shipped the product.
I continue to follow up and though they offer a discount for next order, which is a nice gesture to compensate the delays, but with this experience, I just badly want to have my product shipped and I don't think I will use them again.
August 10th, I got this response from Echo:
" I am sincerely sorry that your order KCXXXXXXXX can't be shipped until on 08/13.
I totally very frustrated on this issue, but I still hope you can check our explanation a little.
"As you know, you placed this order on 07/27, plus the 7 business days production, this order can be shipped on/before 08/06.
However, because of production delay, your order have to shipped one week later of 08/13.
Because of this delay, we will ship your order on 08/13 by Express shipping of DHL but refund you Express shipping cost, is it workable?
Kindly please believe Kin Custom is trying best to working through, and we will resume production back to 3 business days(normal orders) on orders placed after 08/13. "
(thank you for the sweet gesture of refunding the shipping cost lol to compensate but I really just want to have it shipped!)
Today is already August 14 and it is still not being shipped and I am no longer receiving response.
They should avoid publishing dates if it will not be followed and should stop accepting orders in the first place if it is really not possible with their current capacity at the moment. They thought by just offering next order discount and refunding shipping fee will compensate it all but NO. Their business model is B2B, so regardless of next-order discount offers and shipping fee refund, if customers like me will be out of business because of their false promises and terrible delays, then discount offers are useless as we already lose face to our customers! Absolutely there will be NO next order!
In their latest announcement
"Orders placed 8/13 should be back to normal, under our up to 3 business day production schedule"
