Absolutely lovely rucksack that I get compliments on regularly, I also bought the wash bags which are great for travelling. Very roomy for an over packer like me!

I wrote to the Kind Bag team to say that I was disappointed that my large backpack had started to fray after less than a year of use. I had no expectations but the team immediately offered a replacement free of charge. I admire the ethos and like the product selection and with service like this you can be confident in making a purchase. Fingers crossed the quality is a bit more robust this time.

I just love the variety and vibrant colours of the bags!!! Very different and constantly get asked where I purchased these from! Great at communicating and postage is very quick

I have two of their bags.
I love my medium backpack. The materials feel really sturdy and reliable. I also love that it’s still sustainable resources! My only moan is that the bottle holders are too small/tight for my water bottle.
My weekender bag I like a little less. The material is different than the other bag I have and feels flimsier. The straps also feel a bit small for the largeness of the bag. But it can hold loads of stuff and the pattern is super cute.
Everyone I’ve interacted with at Kind Bags has been so lovely.

Love theses kind bags, I got quite a few now I have some to do all my food shopping and some I save just for clothes shopping etc, they wash well and dry quick, easy to fold and store away, I'm doing my bit for the environment also nice to give or receive as a gift, always have one in my handbag and you be surprise how much you can get in them.

I brought 4 bags from kind bag in one order. Kept three and returned one. No acknowledgement of return and no response to to emails sent on 6th and 13th August. Appreciate a small company but very disappointing customer service

I like to support sustainable brands, and so coming across Kind Bag, I was really excited by their product offering. I purchased a Hackney backpack to use for work (I commute a couple of days a week)- within a month it was clearly falling apart.
For the price of the backpack, I didn’t anticipate having to continually mend and tinker with it myself- I expected a quality product which I could keep for life. Instead, I have had to make my own mends to the zips and the straps as they have worn down. If I had this experience with a different bag, I might have just given up and binned it- but I did this bag wasn’t cheap, and seeing as I’ve invested in it, I didn’t give up so easily. Also, in my efforts to be more sustainable, I don’t want to throw away things which have some life in them. But ultimately, without repairs, I don’t think this bag would last about 4-6 months of constant use.
Things which I wasn’t impressed by;
- the bag wasn’t water resistant in the slightest! I have a few minutes walk from the train station to my office, and almost ruined my laptop and devices walking there in the rain. The bag was soaked through by the time I opened it (no more than about 10/15 minutes in the rain). I honestly found this the most frustrating part, as trusting this bag could have genuinely destroyed my devices. Now I only use the bag in the Summer / dry weather.
- the zips are poorly sewn into the bag, particularly the zip for the main compartment. Within about two weeks of use, it broke and became partially unstitched, so the zip could be pulled off the bag.
- the side pockets, where you keep water bottles, began to fray within about a month
Customer service was really helpful when I contacted them (it did take a couple of days for a response, but they were friendly and replaced my bag). The Hackney Backpack has a warranty / guarantee so you can reach out to them if you have any issues- however upon receiving the replacement bag, I noticed the same issues arising. So unfortunately, the warranty hasn’t really helped me, and it won’t help when the actual issue is with initial quality of the products that they make at Kind Bag.
All this to say, it was a disappointing purchase for me, and I won’t be purchasing from Kind Bag again, as I need a low maintenance, high quality product. I think that the Kind Bag Team should rethink their manufacturing methods for the Hackney Backpack, as it really doesn’t align with being sustainable to have a backpack that doesn’t last longer than a few weeks without showing significant wear and tear.

Badly stitched so not impressed.
Was very disappointed to find out after I bought a bag that they are made in China. I don't buy ANYTHING made in China. It never occured to me they would be made in China. Binned it !!!!!

I bought a Kindbag about a year ago, loved the look of them, and also loved the sustainability side of things. A year on, the zip broke, making the bag unuseable. I would have expected a bag of this price to last more than a year, especially as I have made light use of it, it is not a daily bag. I tried to interact with the company to see how they could help me with it. I sent an image of it and how it had broken. They were not willing to replace it without proof of purchase -- which of course I no longer have, this was over a year ago. If they were concerned about a scam, I would have expected them to ask me to send them the bag, which I would have done. Once received, they could have sent me a replacement. But they didn't do that. The point is not whether I bought the bag -- I could have had it as a gift. The point is whether there is one of their bags out there, which has broken and is unuseable. Surely better customer service would have been to ensure that if one of their customers has a broken bag, it would be replaced. They think they're being hard-nosed rational, but they aren't, it's just bad customer service

Such good quality bags that fit a load of shopping in the medium size shopper. I also purchased a mystery box recently for £30 which included a mini rucksack, a tote, 2 medium shoppers and 1 small shopper. Such good value for what you get and the quality is brilliant making them good gifts for yourself or other people.
The products are nice but, in my opinion, just the wrong side of too pricey. There are plenty of sustainable brands selling similar products for less - the only real difference is that Kind Bag have really lovely designs. I ordered a set of pouches and a weekend bag. The bag wasn’t big enough so have returned. Their returns process is a little obstructive (you have to email, just to get a reply with the address to send to, and a request to pop a note in with the order number). This could just be on the website, rather than unnecessarily taking time from both the customer and customer service reps. I wouldn’t have returned the bag if it was £10-£15 cheaper, I’d have kept it as a general overnight bag.
I’ve been buying Kind Bag as my go-to gifts for a while now. Great designs, great ethics from this all female team.
Absolutely love it❤️❤️! Bought 2 for my sister and she is so in love with them.
I recently purchased a set of reusable bags from Kind Bag, and I'm absolutely thrilled with them! Not only are these bags stylish and sturdy, but they also represent a step forward in making our daily routines more eco-friendly. The quality is top-notch, ensuring that they can handle a good amount of weight without any issues. It feels great to reduce plastic use and support a company that aligns with my values of sustainability. Highly recommend these bags!
Bought one of the backpacks for commuting and it doesn’t last - very poor quality. For the price I expected to be able to use this for a few years but it started falling apart after around 7-8 months. The zips wouldn’t stay closed so I couldn’t use some pockets, and areas where the straps and bottle holder pockets joined were frayed with the seams showing holes. I carry water, headphones, a book and sometimes a 13’ laptop so not heavy loads.
I complained and they sent me a replacement promptly but 4 months on with this replacement there’s a huge hole in the strap fabric.
The bag also doesn’t hold the structure as advertised, it’s very shapeless so you can’t actually fit much in. The magnets are a good idea but being at the top they don’t stay closed once picked up by the straps.
I would not purchase a backpack from here unless you only need to carry very light loads (ie no laptop regularly). It’s annoying as they’re marketed as sustainable but I’ve had to throw away 2 backpacks in just over a year. Very wasteful.

Great customer service and communication. I’m also very impressed with the bags. Happy.
Spent £25 on a laptop bag that didn’t fit (despite me measuring my laptop beforehand). I asked about exchanging and they said that the only way is to return my current one and pay for tracked postage and then order a new one. Tracked postage was over £8 and they refused to reimburse me. Was excited to purchase from this company but never would again, bad vibes, avoid x

Received a medium bag, absolutely love it. I always use recycled bags but this one holds a lot and feels sturdy. Nice pattern, I got the galaxy.
Would definitely recommend will be buying more.
