Item took longer than expected and packaging was excessive.
I’ve used Kirton many times and this is the only time I’ve been disappointed - but it’s primarily a fault of Royal Mail rather than the store.
I ordered a single pot of Citadel Paint and it was dispatched by Kirton using Royal Mail’s tracked 48 a service I paid £4.99 for. I was happy to pay the postage as the paint in particular was out of stock in Plymouth.
The order was dispatched on 31st May and didn’t arrive until 5th June! This was a failure on Royal Mail’s part.
The only other gripe was the parcel was dispatched in a huge padded envelope which seemed unnecessary and could have been smaller.
Still I got my paint so I’m happy with the purchase overall.
