I would like to thank the accessible…

I would like to thank the accessible homes team for the fantastic job they have done for me. After having a life-changing accident which left me as a full-time wheelchair user, I could no longer live in my home: it was totally unsuitable and inaccessible by wheelchair.
I would particularly like to thank Jill Kenny, of the accessible homes team who took me under her wing and guided me through the whole process of getting an accessible council property. Jill even helped me to find the most suitable bungalow for adaptation due to my extensive needs.
Once I had made a successful bid on a property, she then passed me over to Yolande Brook, an occupational therapist on the team. Yolande was also excellent and helped me through what adaptations were available and which would be most suitable for my individual needs. Both ladies worked extremely hard for me and went over and above expectations and I am now living totally independent due to their invaluable help. Thank you, I am so grateful.

Well after reading these reviews it…

Well after reading these reviews it doesn’t surprise me about KNH on the 15/12/23 I had a KNH operative for a repair his attitude from the start was disgusting long story short I noticed some damage to a repair he had done when I questioned him he proceeded to shout at me in my house when asked for him to call his supervisor he refused he then baraged past me back to the damage in question I informed him that I had cctv & he was being recorded his reply was I don’t care I then asked him to leave my property to which he did then decide to force entry I was behind my back door trying to shut it has he was forcing it from the outside I was scared for my life I shouted to him I was calling the police which he then left all of this was captured on cctv. I tried to call KNH on the same day 15 times I was passed from 1 person to another & not 1 of them helped watsoeva they put me though to customer service which was a answer machine wow which I did leave a very upsetting begging for someone to call me I have gone though they so called policy & procedures complians stage 1 & 2 it is now in the hands of a stage 3 which I won’t hold my breath the stage 1 & 2 I was told the operative would not attend my property again & that was it no apology nothing.if the shoe was on the other foot & me as a KNH tenant if I did this to the operative I would of been hung draw & quartered. they lucky they got a 1* from me has doesn’t give the option for 0* because that’s all they ever deserve

I have just tried to get help after…

I have just tried to get help after getting out of a mentally abusive relationship, being diagnosed with an illness and reduced to sofa surfing. Told I'm not a priority. Asked to speak to juniors manager and told Janet Hanley was the one who had said this so there was no point. Thanks. They are referring me to other services which I do appreciate. I just wish that I wasn't treated with such disdain during the call

Corruption at kirklees also widespread

Known as homes and neighbourhoods. Uncovered conspiracy. Moonaf dhabria. 10 Fake repairs. Witnesses paper evidence
Ie to deliberate target vulnerable person to pretend to help. But in essence keep me in the loop. To keep a certain viewpoint. Im a person not a circus act. Even doctors insulted me. Attacked my individual wellbeing. Seem to allow malfeasance to go unpunished. Not accepting hollow insulting appology. Deliberate slow performance. Five years to get things done. In the end paid for jobs to be done private. Health took hammering. I'm independent..
Doing better without the system. If anybody who's vulnerable. You would be wise to watch your back. Here it is for the whole of planet earth to see. Tried to send it to Sun newspaper. Or calendar news. But probably politically correct world. Doesn't want you to know the truth..
Followed up with corruption all I got was sorry well stuff that. Refusing to accept. Do onto others as they would do onto you but do it first. As my dad used to say. Always follow my dad's standards never fails.
Also did review of colne valley family doctors. I have mental capacity. Doctors critise. About above situation. Oh naz parker phoned me up he can't read. I have heart problems stress on phone etc. Cant answer phone. As dictated on a certain plan. Now he name will be infamous for the whole world to see. Also he phoned late in the evening. Putting health at risk. Sent email. Saying being told to avoid organisation by higher authorities it should be the end of the matter. Besides he broke the law now. Using my phone number without consent GDPR 170 paragraph 1. Heh heh. Stopped one crinimal.. shot down another. Soon as they read this. They will be a laughing stock. So the end of the council is at hand. Morally I'm my eyes. I always said the council should be devolved. Give power back to resectful members of the public that have been vilified. If council don't watch their step they will be bankrupt. Probably rueing the day of 18 month waste of resources when they should know better. Even doctors have backed off. Strong minded individual myself stood my ground. To people who are vulnerable to achieve success needs hard work and determination to succeed. Created a new way of living. Even creating new chapters in my life. For the better. How many times do they need to realise they are morally guilty.
Then I get a wall of silence because they can't get the core of their antics of pretend help. I tell em about people near me. To try fo create fake situation of environmental health matter. So they can get me out of the way to do devious activity. As concered by police. I've walked away I'm relaxed. My philosophy is exhaust every angle. Then you can move on. Colne valley family doctors. Phoned me up. When certain plan. Dictated otherwise. Doctors critise me. Other than the fraud at large. Dr crippin is letting crinimals get away. Catch 22 he cannot win. I'm happy on my own two feet. Away from the situation. Especially when national fraud intelligence bearau. Get involved of what is happening down town. It's called avoid homes and neighbourhoods. Also standing up for people on my road. Certain negative influences will not succeed. The people have been abandoned and probably better luck with me. I am finding a new light myself. All the proffesionals are not fit to lead. I'm am on the way up. I should have taken the lead over 25 years ago. One last try to put the world to rights. No such luck. Well if they are reading this. Now the police confer my suspicions of a cover up. I'm really shaken but relived I can live my life for the better. Congrats. Oh update indemnity fraud departmentin council. Grandma passes away large sum of money non existant. Talked to officials nothing. Enough said. Prety sure destablistion tactic same as before. Too wise. All proffesionals know. Impeccable quiet. But this time the cats out of the bag. Once and for all.

Got me little flat ASAP due to my poor…

Got me little flat ASAP due to my poor health. One bad thing was i had to use all my PIP back payment to move in as it was uninhabitable but it was a worthwhile investment. Repairs have been done quickly and on the day they said they would be done. All the tradesmen have been polite and a pleasure to deal with. My housing manager has been twice to see me which is good. So as far as Homes and Neighborhoods go i have had a very positive experience and i am grateful for all their help.

I have no problem with the council…

I have no problem with the council generally as it does a good job. However my issue is with it's so called Wellness service. I'm overweight with visceral fat around my upper body. My GP suggested I contact this service. However when I rang them they checked my BMI and as it was lower than 30 I did not qualify to be on the service. BMI is a poor way of determining whether someone is eating healthily. Far better to use waist measurement for men and hip measurement for women. My personal trainer for example would qualify for the course as his BMI is over 30 yet he is slim but muscular. I am quite angry at this to be honest.

Would give 0 stars if i could

Would give 0 stars if i could. Absolutely appalling council. Think its acceptable to allow a vulnerable disabled person to be give and absolute s**t tip of a house with walls falling down, mould, rubbish everywhere, broken windows, no flooring, leaks in roofs and they have also gotten rid of the decorating grant so you get Absolutely no help and they say tough its not our problem. Even if i had the money to pay for it all sorting im physically unable to do so myself due to being disabled heavily relying on a friend to do all the decorating.

Other councils have alot of grants and support in place for disabled people in this situation but kirklees say tough luck.

Also staff are rude and make flippant and accusing comments about disabilities because if you dont look crippled for the 5 minutes they see you then clearly you aren't disabled so rude comments can be made 🙄 what they dont know is you were on 4 different Painkillers just to even sit and have a 5 minute conversation with them and are left crippled for days after.

KNH/Kirklees Council, Zero stars.

KNH/Kirklees Council are nothing more than trash masquerading as a housing association. They deserve to be shut down. Their attitude towards tenants is absolutely appalling, unless of course you are one of their favourites (They claim they don't show favouritism, all evidence collected against a neighbour proves otherwise).

Had a couple of major issues for the past couple of years with them that have never been dealt with, when a complaint was submitted, they magically turned it around on my family and blamed us for them.

Their attitude to repairs is no better, so what if your property is falling down, they don't have any available slots for a few weeks at best (Unless it is such a minor repair, then they can book you in the next day)..Got no hot water due to a boiler issue, the best they can do is three weeks. Shower not turning on due to an electrical issue, they will see you in a couple of months. Kitchen cupboard door a little loose, they will be round tomorrow.

Thank you KNH for one thing, showing me that homelessness or severe debt from private renting is a much better option than ever renting one of your properties.

New era. My own council.

My Faith in Homes and neighbourhoods is 0 stars and abysmal. My housing manager has abandoned me and I am a vulnerable tenant. Constantly fobbed off. They never get back to me. I have rebuilt my own affairs. I Have decided to be independent of council in all things. Best thing I could have ever done. In my opinion the organisation needs sacking.

Kirkless Neighbourhood Housing worst corrupt disgusting housing…

The worst corrupt disgusting housing provider by far
They only care about money not their tenants
Read the heartbreaking shocking story of the latest family's future they have destroyed on Google reviews.
They give houses with child size toilets and sinks then refuse to change them to adult size.
They even have their medical accessible homes team manipulate and deny you have any medical health issues when the reason you were given a house was for the same issues. It's Disgusting the only people they are scared of are real Surveyors and Solicitors. Otherwise they are a law to themselves.
They train their surveyor's to manipulate and blantly falsify reports so they can blame your furniture and belongings.
On their website it says put your furniture against the walls but then their surveyor says to move it away from the wall.
BEWARE A WARNING TO ANYONE ONE THINKING OF APPLYING FOR A HOUSE WITH THESE LANDLORDS, get a good tough solicitor first your gona need it.
Just Google KNH and Kirklees council and damp housing you will find many stories of how they trick and fob people off.

If there was any justice their management should be put in prison for putting families or anyone into properties that are in despair, full of damp and unfit for Human Habitation
Housing law needs to change these managers should be treated the same way as criminals because they put so many peoples lives at risk everyday and will do anything but fix the problems.

I have seen yellow green phelm and blood spat out everyday from the damp and choking ,coughing everynight.
Even when you show them the damp black patches they deny its damp.
Then you learn from a proper Surveyor that there is even a wall at risk if collapsing.
Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing should be renamed Kirklees NEGATIVE Housing.
It's about time the government held them accountable to all those people whose health and lives they have destroyed.

Disgusted

If I could put no stars I would.
Knh don't help any tenants only the ones that don't pay and seem to forget the ones that do pay.
My home is way tok small for me and 2 children and I'm getting g no help.
My kitchen and bathroom is over 25 years old and they aren't listening about I need a new one and my front door let's water in and still no new front door.
I've been on choose and move for 4 years and getting no where and I just get so many excuses and lies.
I've spoken to my local mp and emailed so many people for the last 6 months and still not getting anywhere.
No one actually helps or does anything or I get told they will chase jobs up and never hear from them again.
Knh are a joke don't expect miracles because they give you nothing.
They forget their good tenants.

There’s something seriously wrong when…

There’s something seriously wrong when an organisation refuses, yes refuses, to liaise in writing or email. If your lucky and really push it they might contact you to discuss the issue, but I of course that way nothing is recorded.
KNH have shown us, residents adjacent to one of their squalor’s, nothing but disrespect. We are still waiting for them to clear, or force tenants to clear, the disgusting filth that we have to endure every day. Shame on your tenants and shame on you for allowing it.

Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing going downhill rapidly!!

Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing, This is a social housing management company in West Yorkshire, Kirklees, which used to be great but over the last few years the standards have dropped quite noticeably, if you phone to request repairs you can be on the phone waiting for 20-30 minutes before someone answers and the website seems to ‘lose’ requests as I put a request in last week for a replacement smoke alarm and this request has mysteriously disappeared from the system (the original request was witnessed by my partner) so a new request has been made today! Their own website states this is classed as an emergency repair and will be done in 24 hours so maybe that’s why last weeks request disappeared to make it look as though they are within their timescale. This used to be a really good housing management but has deteriorated to an appalling level for some reason (usually a change in management causes things like this!) I am disabled and the need for a smoke alarm is crucial as it would take me longer to escape in the event of fire but KNH no longer seem to care about the vulnerable in society!
