Love my Kobo. This is my second Kobo. The battery on my Bus died after 9 years but I use the Kobo almost every day. So easy to use and love I can get books from the library as well

Dont bother
It’s great
I love my Kobo. This is my first eReader and so far I’m pretty pleased with it. Before using one, I’d read on my tablet. A big reason why I decided to get a Kobo is because I noticed I would get frequent headaches and my eyes would hurt after reading on my tablet. Another important reason is because I do read fanfics and those can only be read digitally. So I did some research, found out how ereaders would be a nice alternative and help with the eye strain + headaches, many ppl recommended Kobo and this ereader, and then I went ahead and got myself one. It’s been a positive experience so far. Also, I appreciate how you can access your library from the device itself.
I had issues immediately trying to set up the eReader. After 4 hours of back and forth with the help services fighting software issues, I decided to return the eReader. If my initial experience with the Clara BW was any indication of what was to come, I wanted none of it. I hope others have a better experience than I did.
Love the ability to adjust font size
Great reader. Very light to carry and easy to download books.
10's across the board. I have been waiting for over 6 years to get an e-reader. I REALLY did not want to get lock into that other billionaire's plantation-based ecosystem. I know Rakuten is a corporation with it's own flaws, too, but politics aside, the Kobo is the more superior e-reader with the more superior OS. It's charming, has side-loading, and is ready to use right out of the box. I just wish more of the amazon indie authors would make their way over to the Kobo store so I can buy/read here. I do hope Kobo will consider incentivizing reviews on the actual Kobo store. And I hope that they will somehow update the new Storygraph integration so that it doesn't just track books bought directly from Kobo, but books that are sideloaded as well. Thank you Rakuten
easy to carry, good quality, showing good reading
I love it and can’t put it down!
I purchased this Clara BW during a promotion and I encourage Kobo to feature more of them. This eReader is very light in the hand but feels solid. Text is crisp and the fonts can be adjusted easily. I really like the Comfort Light Pro which is so essential when ready at night in bed. The Overdrive integration was a key feature that I was looking for so I could sign out books from my local library. Battery life is very good. Turning off the wifi (not needed except when downloading and syncing) really extends battery life. I would order this product again.
works well. could be a touch more responsive
Amazing ereader, can easily bring anywhere I want!
great value for the money
Excellent device. Text is crisp clear. Battery lasts for very long time even with the light on.
Amazing battery life along with offline file support is all that I wanted in a product.
Simply amzing e-reader! I never owned a Kindle but I watched multiple reviews and did my research on them, and in my opinion Kobo by far surpasses it. Its so easy to work with, battery life is awesomely lenghty (didn’t charge it for weeks), very qualitative crisp text and its the perfect size to hold for when reading. Cool statics and a lot of costumizable fonts and reading asthetics. Also the power on button?? Best decision ever to whoever decided to place it in the back AND indented so you don’t accidentally turn it on and drain the battery whereas Kindle is on the bottom 😭 like its so easy to mistakenly press that thing. And the costumizeable screen saver? Whereas Kindle just shows you some ads (and sometimes inappropriate ones)AND you have to pay $20 to get them removed. Like bruh, I bought something of my OWN, and you going to make me spend more to alter something like this of a device I OWN?? but Kobo? No, its all about you and I love that. Also, i found it super duper easy to work with my laptop in costumizing the screen saver and adding books from my library. I have saved a lot of money! Also, Kobo focuses on the reader, whereas Kindle focuses on advertising you more books. In the home page the biggest section is about your books and your stuff and can even make categories for your books. Kindle? 2/3 is them trying to get you to buy your next book. Im comparing these two because thats what I was debating on personally FIY and hopefully it comes in handy for yourself if you are in the same spot as I was. Idk to me these small details speak and mean a lot. So in conclusion, although slightly pricer than Kindle, I would buy it thousands times again because its simply ideal for me and my reading needs. And also, it came in like 3 days upon ordering which aided in my overwhelming excitement of awaiting the product. Kobo you are awesome, thank you for focusing on the costumer rather than ways to take more of people’s money. It shows you care about the reader’s experience and if you don’t hear that enough, let this review be loud and clear! People need to hear about your products more so invest in some advertising because in my experience, I didn’t hear about your brand until my 3-4th day of considering an e-reader, thanks to TikTok. You guys are awesome and Thank You for all you do. Me and the Kobo community appreciate you!
It was becoming impossible to read digital arcs on my phone. I’m a bookseller at a busy independent bookstore and have more books than time to read them! Kobo has been a perfect choice for me!
Lovely little reader. Easy to use and comfortable to hold with arthritic wrists.
The quality of the screen and device is fantastic but the built in connection to our library is a killer app.
