It was becoming impossible to read digital arcs on my phone. I’m a bookseller at a busy independent bookstore and have more books than time to read them! Kobo has been a perfect choice for me!

Lovely little reader. Easy to use and comfortable to hold with arthritic wrists.
The quality of the screen and device is fantastic but the built in connection to our library is a killer app.
Love reading on my Kobo!
Great bit of kit.
Another amazing Canadian product
Easy to set up & use. Light in weight. Just a great way to read!
Froze up, couldn’t turn off, wouldn’t highlight or would highlight entire book —all within 2 weeks of receipt. Absolute nightmare trying to,first, use website and app, and then trying to contact company via phone or email or chat to initiate a return. When they finally sent me a return authorization, it was for an exchange not a return! Would NEVER buy another device from them! Kindle user for years but was so excited to find kobo—what a mistake. Don’t believe the reviews.
I have this product, my BFF has this product and now my husband has it too. Loves the backlighting so he can read without disturbing me.
Page turn is really something you need to look at. Tapping doesn't work properly. Swapping seems the only option and sometimes it needs to be repeated to work.
Excellent ebook
I love that it has lots of storage space and battery life and is very easy to use. However, it does occasionally have problems syncing with Libby/OneDrive to view ebooks that are available after placing a hold.
is easy to set up and use
Brand new, already glitching. Connection to library system is tricky
It is fantastic. Sturdy and small enough to hold in one hand. I have only had to charge it once since getting it a few weeks ago! It is so easy to transfer my books from my phone to ereader. I am so pleased with this purchase! Now I am trying to convince my wife to get one. I have only had it a short while so cannot talk to longevity!
It’s very clear and easy to use.
The Clara BW is my first Kobo e-reader. I made the jump from a paperwhite and I love the Kobo. A lot of configurable options for page turning, fonts and font sizes, custom screensavers, and more. I love that it's made from recycled and ocean-bound plastics and is designed to be repairable. Battery life is fantastic- I read for an average of an hour a day and a single charge can take me through two weeks! Highlighting a word gives you the options to look it up in a dictionary, Wikipedia, or on the regular internet right inside of the book.
I made the switch to this from a Kindle Paperwhite after Amazon discontinued the ability to load books onto the generation I owned for 14+ years. I absolutely love how simple and streamlined the user interface is, love that the sleep screen is the cover of the book I am currently reading instead of a random ad, love how much more customization is offered in the settings, and most especially - as an avid Libby user - I cannot stress enough how amazing it is that this connects directly to Overdrive. I was very loyal to my Kindle for over a decade but I am really happy with this switch and hope it can last me a long time.
I bought my Kobo to replace a Kindle that Amazon has chosen to no longer support, and I am really pleased with it. It's the perfect size for me to hold wherever I read, it has a lovely clear screen that is easy to adapt to your chosen brightness, and I like the clear user interface. It's brilliant that I can borrow digital books from my local library straight onto it too. It's pretty good value for money but unfortunately they chose to raise the price just as I had decided to buy it after a lot of research and thought (and admitting to myself that no, I really do not need a colour e-reader because nothing I choose to read has colour!)
Great to have library books on an e-reader.
