Love the: 8" screen (perfect size); wide side bezel around the buttons (with up-kicked edge); paging buttons; user interface; ability to read library books. Don't love the battery life, though it's not a deal breaker for me. Don't love the dodgy buttons that sometimes stop working. Don't love the price. Don't love the fact that the technology hasn't been updated in years. Having been without an e-Reader for a while since my Kindle Paperwhite battery died, I've really grown quite fond of this little device. It has encouraged me to read more, and that's all I can expect, really.

I like the device so far. It’s lightweight and comfortable to read on. Unfortunately the Overdrive integration for reading library books is buggy and doesn’t seem to support borrowing from multiple libraries without constantly logging in and out. I mostly read library books, so I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known about the issue.

Love the size, design, how it fits in my hands, the option to turn pages with buttons or screen, and the intuitive settings and navigation. I think the weak battery life and occasional power button and touch input misses are not what I would have expected for this price and brand reputation. That being said, I’d buy this e-reader again over others I’ve used in the past.

I really love the Kobo Sage, the size and weight are good (not too bulky, not too heavy), and it's so easy to use. I create Collections to make it easier to find the books I've decided to read, and I love being able to take all my books with me wherever I go, so that if I finish a book, I have the next book with me, but it doesn't take up any totebag/luggage space! I also love that the ereaders now use USB-C charging cables so that I only need one cable instead of two (mobile and ereader).

I wanted a home based reader & upgraded to Sage when my Nook died. For reading its great. On Nook I could send highlighted text via email Not on Sage. Drat. I bought a pen, had a couple of tries, went back to use finger to highlight but in this and any other change requiring processing its not very responsive - so underpowered. Not unusual to get stuck. BUT its not a Kindle! √√√ Thouygh it is expensive. I have a lot of epubs and don't want to tie into amazon. I bought another for my partner - so my ••• is not a warning, but a call for improvement and to temper expectations. My battery experience is fine, I haven't 'tested it' but a get a few eve's reading before seeing it needs a charge. I bought a longer lead for reading while charging in bed if need be. The backlight can fade v low for night reads.

Horrible battery life even with no stylus and WiFi turned only to download books. Battery lasts 3 or 4 days. I set the light at 4%, sleep mode at 5 minutes, turn off at 10 minutes.
