Absolutely terrible services

Absolutely terrible services. I had my phone stolen and it took over 8 days for kogan to be able to restore my number to me. They kept asking for information I had already provided and then saying they would take 48hrs to act on that response

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless, I got a mobile plan and the voucher never worked, All they would say was our technical team is looking into it, 7 weeks later, saying same BS story. I got the credit card company involved. Then finally this useless excuse for a business said would you like a refund dam straight. Avoid this company Kogan, all overseas call center

Kogan's terrible customer support

I am sick and tired of the thread responses simply saying "we'll look into your issue". I have received the same cookie cutter response six times now. I just want to stress that my issue has NOT been resolved.
I've gone three weeks without mobile data/cellular service due to constant negligence from your customer support.

Please help me fix the problem by actually prioritizing this case. Your email support take 1-5 business days to reply. I need a fix as soon as possible.

I'm tired of repeating my issue over and over on this thread as well as internal customer support channels.

Ordered a sim and plan

Ordered a sim and plan. Got sim no voucher to activate not in inbox, not in spam not in Dashboard. spent an hour on the phone repeating myself up to 5 times with a customer service person that could not speak English who then said I had to wait for the back end to rectify. Been over a week now. Terrible Terrible service. Regret using this service.

So Easy, So Quick

Just did a quick 360 day recharge on the phone. The Account Sign in wouldn't let me use the recharge and use my voucher and move to a 360 day plan. Quick call to Kogan Customer Service and within a few minutes was able to change my plan and use my voucher. I'm very happy with the phone help service.

Bought the prepaid to use for a short…

Bought the prepaid to use for a short period finding it impossible to cancel the auto recharge which was by default. Misleading information which giving information to turn off the auto recharge through the app which costed us another $25 recharge by mistake and customer service refused to given refund. Very disappointed and will stay away from Kogan Mobile. Note: Auto recharge cancellation is not available from the app. Only by calling the customer service. What a scam!

Customer Care who cares

Had great experiences with Kogan Mobile customer care. Really helpful, with Joseph today, helped with recharging a past expiry voucher code due to a hectic week. Fully recommend, great plans, and lowest cost, and easy contact with issues.

Vodaphone/kogan map is not accurate, terrible speeds

The vodaphone map is not accurate. It's clear you are the lowest priority on every network... No reception in most of suburbia, forget camping... Using the same cell tower as 5 other people, optus gets enough speed to watch YouTube, while I can't even load web-pages or message reliably. I have no connection during low-volume times, forget peak times. Calls work... but jeez that's a low standard.

Purchased a refurbished a Samsung…

Purchased a refurbished a Samsung Smartwatch 4 from Electronic Superstore.
On receipt it wouldn't setup due to not able to operate in the Australia region.
Checked with Samsung CC & confirmed item isn't an Australian native model.
Conveyed this to Kogan CC asking for a 14 day refund.
Why does Kogan sell an item that can't operate in the country they're selling it?
Terrible turnaround times to CC emails for a refund.
Don't buy from Kogan, plenty of other Aussie online watch sellers.

Unable to remove auto-recharge

I have been using a small prepaid 10G plan with monthly subscription and no lock-in contract. However I have found it difficult to cancel my auto-recharge. It says in the Help section that I can cancel auto-recharge by clicking "Remove Schedule" under Payment method section ... but there is no such option to be found under any section. I have tried to contact online help and written emails to Kogan but without any response. Very frustrating and time consuming, not really worth the low fee for first month.

Cannot send International Texts

Went with a 365 day plan. All good, until trying to SMS parents in UK. You can't. How bizarre!!! I purchased a $5 5-country add on (which is a fair deal) and tried to text then to let them know I'd be calling. Just got an obscure error.

Trailed through Kogan Help and, can't be done. You cannot send texts Internationally. Not sure I've even come across that before. Greatly regretting the purchase now :-( Am going to have to ditch the Kogan SIM and go elsewhere, with the added $$$$ wasted. Kicking myself to not checking; but, just never come across this before - cant even buy a SMS add-on. Damn!

Product STILL hasn't arrive.

Bought a simcard from Kogan from their website since April or May 2023 and it hasn't arrived till now (28/1/2024). I don't think that's right. Have tried contacting their customer service but no luck.

Still waiting for my old phone number…

Still waiting for my old phone number to be transferred to a new SIM card. I keep being told that it will happen within two business days but nothing yet after 3 days. It’s infuriating. It’s very hard to get help from this organisation when you need it.

Best mobile service for the price

The price of this service is amazing, my whole family is on this now. It's a fraction of the cost of the big telcos. Uses the Vodafone network which is OK, sure Telstra might have better coverage (not at my home though) but in the major population centres the coverage is great. Customer service is quick and easy to deal with also.

Excellent Customer Serivce

I have been a Kogan mobile customer for several years with My wife, my son and I all using 365-day pre-paid plans. I had recently purchased 2x recharges for my wife and myself. Whilst my wife recharged her plan on-time, I forgot to do so and was charged for the auto-renew amount. I felt really anxious and mad at myself that I had made the mistake. I was genuinely happy when calling the number listed in the SMS and spoke to a delightful man who was happy to refund the auto-billed amount and use my recharge voucher to complete the renewal.

I had been expecting a "too bad, so sad response. However, I'm now certain that I will remain with Kogan mobile for many years more.

I cannot fault the service at all. It integrates perfectly with my iPhone's voicemail system and provides excellent coverage and data speeds for my day to day routines. Kogan Mobile represents excellent value for money in my opinion and I have recommended them to family and friends too.

International Data inaccessible

This is the second time I’ve purchased an international phone data pack and it doesn’t work. There is no possible way to contact Kogan so again I’ve wasted my money. ( America and Japan) Overall the coverage is poor anyway. Time for a change.
