Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 621 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people found significant issues with the platform's functionality, including pages not loading and links not working, alongside concerns about the fairness of games. Consumers frequently reported that the games, particularly slots, were perceived as unfair with low return-to-player rates, leading to minimal or no winnings and "dead spins" even after substantial spending. Reviewers also expressed frustration with payment practices, such as best odds guaranteed not being honored, and issues with payouts or account closures affecting access to funds. Customer service was often described as unhelpful and providing generic responses, while the cost of redeeming loyalty points was seen as excessively high. However, some customers also noted that the withdrawal process was often fast and efficient, with funds arriving in bank accounts quickly.

The most egregious con men on the internet in my opinion

I made a huge £50 bet on a greyhound. An earth changing sum that of course required "review". The screen said, it exceeded the limit and was going to a "trader" (an unemployable street huckster, in other words).

The wheel spun and spun...all through the race. The dog won, and AMAZINGLY, the bet was THEN rejected. I'm positive if the dog had lost the small time street huckster to whom they pay minimum wage would have rejected the bet.

If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.

If you have an account with Ladbrokes you are a MUG. They close accounts on anyone with an IQ. If you have an open account, they think you do NOT have an IQ.

These are carnival con men pretending to be "Sporting Men". They will steal from you any chance they get.

I honestly can't say enough negatives…

I honestly can't say enough negatives about this company, absolute cash drainers , the free games are so funny, you have a better chance knitting fog than winning ANYTHING at all,
I have deleted the app , the fun has been taken away from even the free games , you need 3,000 points now to win 3 spins , the free spin wheel lands on no win EVERY SINGLE TIME, EVERY SINGLE DAY
move on it's finished as a fun site

Closing to early and before time.

Twice this week I've been to the burton upon trent shop, and twice they won't allow me to go inside saying they are closing.. I went tonight at around 8.15pm to be told the same, this is the only ladbrokes around here so I'm now unable to collect my winnings, very irritating and closing before time. Same staff member each time. They are not supposed to close until 8.30pm tonight so I was within time..

Robbery

Listen carefully I am a professional sports better I came to Ladbroke 2 weeks ago. I noticed I was not getting wins as usual as I do many bets and don’t really check if they actually really won or lost myself then today to my horror I see a bet saying Pedro never had a shot for Chelsea essentially there saying bets have lost when they have won. Then there are bets that are completely disappearing this is a very dodgy app that’s why no one uses it FAKE SCAMMERS AND THIEVES

Charging absolute thousands to redeem ladbucks

Charging absolute thousands to redeem ladbucks. I thought it must be a mistake so went on the online chat but just kept getting told to read the rules. I play other sites with their equivalent of ladbucks and all cost the same. For example 3 free spins cost 300. Ladbrokes cost 3,000. A £1 bonus costs 1000. Ladbrokes cost 10,000. Others go up to 100,000 and more. Absolutely ridiculous. So once I can redeem I won't be playing there any more.

The "Behind the Curtains" Feeling

Review: A Transparent Look at Modern Day "Digital Mugging"

I am writing this review to warn others about the sheer inconsistency and blatant lack of fairness I have experienced with this app. Recently, I deposited £5, and what followed was nothing short of a joke. We aren't talking about "bad luck" here; we are talking about a technical experience that feels rigged from the moment you hit the spin button.

It has reached a point where it feels like these machines are being manipulated behind a curtain, and the betting companies are simply getting away with daylight robbery.

During my session, the games behaved in a way that defies any logic of fair play.

I managed to trigger a bonus game which usually suggests a higher potential for a return only to walk away with a measly £1. When the "big" features of a game pay out odds that don’t even cover the cost of the spins it took to get there, you know the system is weighted far too heavily against the consumer.

In the other games I tried, the returns were even more insulting. I was being fed back literal pennies while my balance was being drained in seconds.

The most frustrating part isn't just the money; it’s the way the software operates.
One minute, the game seems to be running smoothly, and then suddenly, it’s as if a switch is flipped & screen recordings don't lie proof all in hand.

The mechanics change, the hits stop entirely, and the "glitches" start appearing right when the momentum should be shifting.
This "sudden death" style of gameplay makes it impossible to believe that these results are truly random.

It feels like the software is designed to bait you in and then shut down the moment you have any chance of a decent return.

How do these companies expect customers to keep coming back? The predatory nature of these apps has gone beyond entertainment and into the realm of a total rip-off.

There is zero transparency regarding how these "sudden" changes in game performance occur.
For a company as large as Ladbrokes, the technical standard and the level of fairness should be held to a much higher account. Instead, we get apps that feel like they are programmed to squeeze every last penny out of you without providing even a minute of genuine gameplay.

It is beyond a joke that these betting companies are allowed to operate with such opacity. The regulators need to take a serious look at how these games perform in real-time, especially when they "suddenly" stop working or start returning pathetic amounts during bonus rounds.

I’m done with being treated like a cash cow for a rigged system. Save your money, save your sanity, and stay far away from this app. It isn't a game; it’s a trap designed to look like one.

My account has been closed

My account has been closed . I made £40 profit in the last 6 months . It's sad that they only want people who lose money and not those that dare to actually win which is the whole point of joining them in the first place

Gambling limits ???

I used to enjoy playing slingo I bet 20pence stakes all the time, I use gambling controls too which I think benefits them more than us, I don’t mind losing but they’re greed has taken the fun out of my flutter.
Today the stake was set at £5 (which is a new one on me) and I played it before I realised and lost it in less than a minute . I closed my account right away.

Gave this a proper go recently and came…

Gave this a proper go recently and came away wondering why I bothered.
Started off thinking I’d have a bit of fun, but it quickly turned into long stretches of nothing — spin after spin with barely any returns. On the rare occasion something did hit, it was so small it didn’t even make a dent. Before you know it, your balance is gone and you’ve got nothing to show for it.
I get that gambling isn’t guaranteed wins, but this just feels completely one-sided. There’s no balance to it at all, just constant losses with the odd tiny payout to keep you going.
Takes all the enjoyment out of it when it feels like you’ve got no real chance. Won’t be using it again.
