Logs in good condition and excellent uniform size. Excellent work by Rachel sorting out the delivery at short notice, and by John for delivering the logs exactly where we needed them,. Duncan McLellan

What I received I would imagine was left over from the offcuts.
I can offer photos if req'd.

Firstly recommended by good friend. Logs mainly 9 inch with odd rogue long one and a few shorter. I find that reasonable with a natural product. Last time ordered kiln dried which were much better previous load had been bit mouldy. Not good for my lungs. Always found delivery very good to Rottingdean. They burn ok too.

The dumpy bags used to be 1m cubes, now much smaller 0.85m bags, this is less than 2/3rds of the old bags, and yet the price has gone up. Logs were poorer than previous years, many small pieces.

Very poor customer service . Came when I specifically asked them not to . The logs have been dumped at the end of my drive and now I cannot get to my back door .

Half of the "kiln dried" logs I received contain over 30% moisture, the other half over 20%. Scam.

When my order arrived the delivery driver refused to reverse in to the driveway so he could lower the logs on to my patio, claiming that he could not deliver to a gravel driveway (he didnt need to). The office called me and said I was to blame as I hadnt follwed the guidelines on the website (which I had). Said they would speak to the driver and get back to me. The driver left I never heard back from the office. Now 2 days (and 3 emails) later I have neither logs or the £170 I paid for them, and have heard nothing.

I paid £170 for kiln dried logs. When they arrived the moisture readings are anywhere between 20-30%. This isn’t kiln dried and not even seasoned properly. Also same as other readers, bag is .8 x .8 so not 1 cubic metre.
I have been trying to deal with their office but they are being elusive. They say they are suffering the impact of storm Isha and all comms are down. I fail to believe that they can’t use a phone.
Apparently they can’t operate because of lack of power. However, they are still taking orders through their website.
They display the Ready To Burn logo. Which means by law they must sell logs with fleas than 20% moisture. Kiln dried logs which I pad a premium for should be far less that, their website claims 18%.
So, I paid £170 for less than 1 cubic metre of wet logs by a company that claims to abide by the Ready to Burn certification requirements. An so far has failed to deal with my query.
I feel ripped off and fobbed off.

2 bags not full so was not 1 square meter. also not one log was nine inches more like eleven to twelve and would not fit my log burner without cutting down, will not purchase again.

The 'kiln-dried' logs I received were too wet to burn efficiently. I built my usual fire, (firelighter, kindling, logs around and on top), and they smouldered, turned black and eventually went out. Of course, I checked that my air vents were set as normal etc. I built another fire in the same way using logs from my normal supplier and had a roaring fire in a few minutes.
I have a moisture meter, they measured between 30% and 40%, the legal limit for supply of firewood in quantities less than 2m3 is less than 20%.
Customer service was reasonable, upon complaining, the initial email was ignored. A second email with pictures resulted in an offer of a refund (although the chap did try to 'explain' how kiln-dried logs could measure 40% moisture), so one extra star for that.
My advice would be to avoid this company, unless you need the physical exercise of unloading, stacking and then re-loading a couple of hundred kilos of logs into your woodstore from a bulk bag.

What a great company. I had problems with the ordering and contacted them they called straight away and resolved it. Had a delivery last year and was very happy with everything so definitely recommend this company
Amazing quality Good customer service, would recommend to anyone!!
Review would have been 5 stars however having had a phone ref delivery and told Friday morning, they turned up at 16:45!
Logs themselves neatly packaged on a pallet, logs feel very heavy all cut roughly the same size and when I tried out my moisture tester the average reading was 9%. Would I use this company again, yes!
Very happy with Lakeland Logs. Ordered on Friday logs arrived Wednesday. 4 bags of seasoned hard wood. The wood is dry and cut into manageable sizes. I will use them again.
Ordered a few times from this company. Generally ok but when the seasoned kiln dried logs came they were not seasoned or kiln dried they were damp I can excuse the mud. I have had a log burner for years and know my logs! They tried to tell me they were a different type of log which I agree they are as they are not what I ordered. Interesting to note they have 65% 1 star ratings on here. I used a few neighbours logs to prove my point which were kiln dried and seasoned they burned very well. I have asked for an exchange or refund on the unopened bag ...watch this space for an update...
UPDATE THEY JUST IGNORE EMAILS. A DISGRACE OF A COMPANY HOPE THEY GO UNDER TERRIBLE OR NON EXISTANT SERVICE
We bought 2 bulk bags of kiln dried oak last year and it was fine. Ordered another bag last month and it is not kiln dried, it's not even seasoned. I have a moisture meter and the readings are mid to high 30's %. Kiln dried is usually under 20%. This won't burn properly and in order to get any sort of fire going, I have to run my wood burner on high otherwise, it won't light, stay alight. I have emailed the company, left messages with them and they do not respond.
We ordered kiln dried logs in the autumn that were of good quality although the person that we communicated with on the phone has pretty poor customer service skills. We ordered more kiln dried logs about two weeks ago that are nowhere near as good as the first lot. They are damp, don't burn, they produce loads of smoke and sizzle due to the amount of moisture. We emailed over 10 days ago and still haven't heard anything from them. Very frustrating and disappointing..and a waste of £110!
Ordered Tuesday delivered Friday great job guys Thanks.
