This is the second time I've used Lakelovers and the service and value for money is the best I've found in the Lake District. The properties are great and well maintained and the service is excellent.

Excellent property, spacious rooms and plent of parking with great views. had a small problem with lights in the living room but Lakelovers sorted the issue very promptly, great service. Enjoyed so much we have booked again for June.

this is the 2nd property we have stayed in booked through LL. I have found them pleasant, helpful and efficient. Have checked out other companies and they also seem the have the best properties. Mere View is a lovely house with fabulous views. Extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything you could possible need. Wold definitely recommend Lakelovers.

Only our second stay with Lakelovers, but so impressed with the level of service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, but very professional. We had a problem with the heating on our last stay, but the way Lakelovers dealt with it was fantastic and we feel very loyal to them.

Our first visit to The Old Chapel and what a special place it is. Warm, comfortable, spacious and so welcoming after yet another rainy day on the fells. Superbly comfortable beds, piping hot water on demand and a sensational kitchen make this one of the best properties we have stayed in. Only ten minutes drive from either Bowness or Kendal yet perfectly secluded along a country lane so peaceful and quiet at all times.

As always, Lakelovers provided their professional and courteous service and without question offer the finest selection of Cumbrian rental properties. No other company can match their website for both property images and descriptions and we look forward to returning in 2016 when hopefully the rain will have stopped!

Our 2nd visit to Brunton lodge and once again did not disappoint,new mattresses in both double rooms which give the best night sleep,our girls loved the Bunk beds,plenty of toys and games to keep them occupied.
We love the conservatory for its tranquility and outlook over the garden.
Perfect location to walk into Bowness or down to the lake
Can't wait for our next visit.

We stayed in The Loft, Ambleside. Excellent property. Lovely surprise from the owner - left us a bottle of Cava for x-mas! Christmas tree up. Our Christmas has been special. Lovely accommodation - would recommend.
Lakelovers kept in contact with us during our stay with updates and contact details whilst closed for x-mas day in case of any emergency.
Booked with Lakelovers now for the past 3 years and already booked next years holiday through them. The properties are very clean and are very good value. It's certainly the only one I look at now and I know I will always find an exceptional property to suit our needs and budget. thank you

Our seventh visit, over the years, to this property. As ever the experience was superb, even down to the large Christmas tree and decorations that adorned the living room.
Unfortunately, I left a spare set of car keys at the property, and the team have made every effort to attempt to locate them. Very courteous and professional in their approach, and great overall service!

We loved this property. It is situated on a quiet lane but just a mile from Windermere and the views from the house are beautiful. The house is very spacious, with nice decor and is well equipped and very warm. The boot room was great and kept our coats and boots warm and dry throughout our stay. The lane was very quiet with lovely scenery all around and we really enjoyed the walks along it. There are also other walks close by such as Orrest Head and there was no need to use the car for these. We were here during storm Desmond and although the lane took a beating (but remained passable) the property was unaffected. Lakelovers provided a good efficient service throughout and they also provided excellent communications and contact details in the event of any problems in the aftermath of the storm. We will definitely be returning to this property- it ticked all the boxes. Highly recommended

This cottage is superb if you are looking for a classic Lakes experience, with a quintessential historical property, beautifully furnished, well equipped and in a superb location. The mattresses are to die for!
Lakelovers offer an excellent service with staff who are always available and helpful. Even for a long weekend, the little touches were there for when we arrived - Xmas tree, mince pies and wine.
All in all - a superb stay!

We had a fantastic time staying at Applebeck it was everything we wanted.it was very well equipped and very clean we will certainly be returning next year!!!! As for Lakelovers, we have booked with them many times both direct and online and found them very helpful and all the properties that we have stayed in have been excellent !!!

Lakelovers clearly pride themselves on customer service, from the booking process right through to the end of our stay they kept in touch and were on hand with questions we had. The cottage we stayed in was the perfect location away from the main areas and tucked away in a small village with a great pub around the corner, The Mortal Man. We will use Lakelovers again and have recommended to friends and family.

This. was the third holiday in Tilly's cottage, very clean and warm. Tv and wifi worked well. We have had 5 cottage holidays with lakelovers and would recommend them.

Lakelovers offer beautiful holiday homes at excellent value for money. This is the second time I have used the company and it will not be the last.

Our stay at the Applebeck property in Bowness on Windermere has been a pleasurable experience, we found the bungalow to be ideally located for a slow meander into the main eating and shopping area a mere 10 min leisurely stroll. The property is roomy ( I consider I've done most of the walking from room to room more than I've walked outside).
there is parking for 3 cars, the house itself was clean on arrival, heated adequately and has enough toilets and areas to sit and relax if you were a party of six, the kitchen was equipped with all mod cons and we even made use of some of the extras we didn't expect to find like salt and pepper and kitchen foil which we used on one occasion, the property may be slightly more dated decoratively speaking than some of the more expensive properties which were available but this did not detract from the time we spent there, nor did it spoil our stay,
This was the first time I have used lake lovers but will defiantly not hesitate to use them again, from navigating their website to booking over the phone the process was a breeze, I visited the main office on Windermere during our stay and found the staff to be extremely pleasant and interested in how I was finding my stay, I would highly recommend them to others.

We recently returned from the most fantastic stay at Rosewood by the river near Ambleside. The house exceeded all of our expectations and is in the most stunning setting. Everything in Rosewood was of extremely high standard and spec and the house was spotless and beautifully decorated. The 2 main bedrooms were outstanding with the most comfy beds and pillows and really nice features. The kitchen and living rooms were equally perfect.Non of us in our party wanted to leave. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and wouldnt hesitate to return. It was amazing.
