I never got a bill from Lands End and yet was given a poor credit rating and received several calls every day from Comenity Bank (marked as spam) for an $87 late payment. I just found out that LE had... See more

Lost a long time customer
I've been shopping at Land's End since my kids were babies. Some of their products have been great quality and some not so much. Between myself and my mom's household we have spent thousands of dollars.
I recently had a pretty bad experience with customer service being really harsh about an adjustment refund. For me a huge price difference of almost $100 for items I received just days ago. For a multi-million dollar corporation this is a drop in the bucket to keep or lose a long time customer. They don't care, none of these companies care, which is a lesson learned. Customer loyalty doesn't matter.
I haven't ever contacted them previously for adjustments.
They were so set on proving their point almost to the point of super harsh, and we're talking about I received items on Tuesday and contacted within less than 2 business days after.
I would return the items if they were for me, however, it's for a family member that needs them for immediate use and we do not have time to find new items.
WASTE OF TIME
dont order online 5 days after order still not shipped. called in to cancel, since it shows processing, they cant. In other words only buy from them if you dont want it for a month trash trash trash
Tank suit is NOT chlorine resistant. Size is not true.
I like the color of my tank swimsuit. It is NOT chlorine-resistant. Even thought I wet it prior to getting in the pool and rinsing it immediately after. Other women in my water aerobics class agree. It fades in a way that is odd. It's not attractive! It's embarrassing. I wear a size 16 pant but have to order a size 20 swimsuit. That makes no sense. I have bought suits from Lands End for years. I will not be buying any more.
I placed an order with the wrong…
I placed an order with the wrong shipping address. Their customer service policy says that you are able to edit an order for whatever reason within 30 minutes of placing the order. I immediately called to change the address and was told they were doing a warehouse update on their software and they could not change the address. Nor could they cancel the order. This was not at all helpful.
Poor and Confusing Experience
Very poor customer service. The website is improperly working, was trying to order a uniform sweater for my son's school. I added a logo, paid for it, but the logo was not included. Giving me a hard time instead of fixing the issue, called 30 mins after ordering, item has not even been shipped, but they are claiming there is nothing they could do. Now I will have to pay the shipping fee for an item I know I will be returning.
I requested a refund for my items…
I requested a refund for my items MONTHS ago. In early September 2025 I processed the return. It’s been over half a year and yet I still have not received my refund for the item I returned (which was returned quickly by myself). The returned item was received 1/9/26, but they still haven’t processed the refund. How does it take so long to process a return and then get a refund to me? Frustrated with this company. Add to that the fact that I get inundated with texts and emails about their products and discounts. I have blocked them, but still they persist.
The quality has been going down and now…
The quality has been going down and now the ordering the returning process are cumbersome and expensive. I order four items from their website and got free shipping. Two of those do not fit and I had to return them. They charged me $8.95 for the return even though I am dropping off the items at a drop-off location. Then they deduct another $6.95 for the shipping.
Sierra.com and Amazon both carry Lands End products and both have free shipping and return. Does not make sense to buy Lands End from their own website anymore.
Quality, cut, sizing and service are terrible. I won’t shop here again
The quality and fit of their men’s clothing and their customer service has really gone downhill over the past few years. I ordered several gifts only to be sorely disappointed by the sizing of their men’s clothing. A large in Lands End men’s flannel is easily the size of an XL in other popular clothing brands. Also the cut is pretty terrible. It’s not slim cut or standard cut, it’s extra wide cut, which makes the sizing issues even worse. So rather than go to the trouble of exchanging for a medium and running the risk of still being too wide I retuned it all for a refund, but they don’t have free returns, so I opted for what I thought was going to be store credit but what turned out to be a bunch of separate virtual gift cards I have to keep track of. After this experience, I won’t ever shop there again, but it was an expensive lesson to learn.
Wow. So many bad reviews.
Wow. I am shocked to see how many bad reviews match mine. I ordered a shirt two weeks ago and it arrived no problem. I ordered the same product again in a different color right away. It did not arrive on the date it said it was. When I tracked it down it said it was not delivered due to “insufficient address”. Again same exact address as two weeks ago. Land’s End offered me no explanation nor assurance that it wouldn’t happen again. Only”order it again and if you want to make sure it doesn’t happen again, pay for expedited shipping”.
So comfortable, modest and well fitting.
I've purchased 3 swimsuits off this company in the past. They are sooo comfortable, they cover you up well when you just want to swim rather than sunbathe. I like the modest styles, the fabric is so soft and comfortable. I've lost some weight so I've ordered a couple more. I wouldn't buy anywhere else. They also have pretty styles for when you sunbathe!
25 years a customer
I ordered my first product from Lands End from their new website for Christmas 2000. I have popped in and out over the years buying staples, and for a time my wife used them for long body swimsuits. Everything used to be competitively priced and good quality, with a great returns policy. These days not so much. I don't know if Lands End have stayed still and other companies have got better or they are just not as good as they were. Price, unless bought in a sale is not great, quality on some items, is also not great and returns which used to be straightforward is now also not great. I bought a pair of slippers in January which by March were in very poor condition. I actually think the sole is too thin causing me to lean out of the slippers which is uncomfortable and dangerous. Obviously I want to return them; to do so I need to have the Lands End proof of purchase, which of course two months later I don't have and as I used the website as a guest, can' find online. Also they want to charge me £2.70 to return a defective item and their is nothing on the Returns portal that states that this will be returned if my claim is valid. Which means if you are buying Land's End stuff, make sure you retain your proof of purchase or create an account and never buy as a guest. Also be prepared to loose money if you have goods that are not to standard as they are returned using your money. Or buy the clothing on Amazon or just not bother.

I had the wrong address entered for shipment. I immediately sent an email to correct the mistake. I received an email the next morning that it was too late to change the address. I called customer service to speak my piece, and the item was shipped to the correct address, no problem 👍
Great customer service and absolutely…
Great customer service and absolutely love the merchandise especially the hundred percent cotton clothes
Very disappointed.
I bought backpacks for my two grandchildren based on The Wirecutter's (unwarranted) strong recommendation. They used them one school year. The next fall, the zipper broke on one of the bags. I trusted the result of an AI search that told me "Lands' End famously operates under an unconditional satisfaction guarantee known as "Guaranteed. Period.®" This policy essentially acts as a lifetime warranty, stating that if you are not satisfied with any item, you can return it at any time for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price." I contacted LandsEnd and they simply replied that the product cannot be returned after 90 days. No warranty. I will never purchase anything from them again, and I will also contact The Wirecutter.
Unable to return as same method of receipt.
Received 2 orders. All came in 1 pkg. Items needed returned. Was charged 2x because they were 2 different orders. ALL went back in same envelope. Will not purchase LE again.
Order from Lands End
Order from Lands End. They don’t send out your items. They claim you have tracking but I haven’t been notified and they denied a refund. Done shopping this way with them.
Private equity destroys everything it…
Private equity destroys everything it touches that includes a once legendary retail mail-order house

Lands' End was deep into debt and is now half-owned by private equity. As all other products from private-equity, quality and service goes to shit. Don't even think about getting a refund. They won't let you. Go somewhere else.
Dishonest - Terrible Customer Service
I believe Land's End uses dishonest and misleading "promotions" to lure customers into plugging in your credit card. Terrible customer service, and Land's End will not honor price reduction promotions that they advertise. I suspect the barrage of emails (as many as 6 per day) are also offering bogus sales and incentives. One of their "tricks" is to say "that item is out of stock and we can't honor the current promotion". I suggest you contact the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Consumer Fraud Division.
Awful Quality and Poor Customer Service
I ordered some dress pants from Lands' End. I have been a customer for many years and generally had a good experience with their quality. However, these pants ripped entirely on just the third or fourth wearing.
This has NEVER happened with Lands' End or any other pants.
When I contacted Lands' End customer service, I was treated brusquely and told that the pants were not eligible for any refund due to the 90 days being passed.
I feel that I should be more valued as a customer but clearly Lands' End does not value my business. Never buying from them again.
