A note about our Trustpilot reviews... Because Languagenut is widely used for school homework, many of the reviews here are written by students immediately after being asked to complete a language assignment. Understandably, not everyone is thrilled about homework! You'll therefore see plenty of tongue-in-cheek, humorous, and occasionally exaggerated reviews that reflect students' feelings about homework rather than the platform itself. Want to see what teachers and schools think? Visit Languagenut.com to learn more about how Languagenut supports language learning in classrooms around the world.

hank you for providing an engaging and interactive language learning platform. The variety of activities, pronunciation practice, and gamified approach help keep learners motivated and make language learning enjoyable.
As a French teacher, I would appreciate the following improvements:
Include more advanced content for learners preparing for higher-level examinations such as DELF B2 and DALF C1/C2.
Provide additional authentic reading and listening materials that reflect real-life situations and contemporary Francophone culture.
Expand grammar explanations with more detailed examples and opportunities for guided practice.
Offer more teacher customization options, allowing educators to create or edit assignments that align with their curriculum.
Include comprehensive progress analytics that identify specific strengths and areas requiring improvement for each learner.
Add more speaking activities with AI-powered feedback on pronunciation, fluency, and grammatical accuracy.
Overall, LanguageNut is a valuable resource that supports both teachers and students. With these enhancements, it could become an even more effective platform for developing communicative competence in French and other languages.

Overall, the experience has been good. However, clearer guidance on assignment differences and avoiding jokes in the chat would be helpful.

There are many resources and useful ways to engage the class while having fun. My classes have loved the site. I particularly like the variety of levels and content.

Language Nut is great both at KS3 and KS4. Great for vocabulary and grammar exercises and is easy to use with a leaderboard for your school. Would highly recommend.

A Really helpful "go to" when teaching Spanish in my Year 2 classroom!

Languagenut is a great addition to a department's bank of online resources. It's very helpful for setting homework and independent self-marking cover work. Great integration with new GCSE exam board vocab lists and a huge variety of activities to practise a range of different skills. The competitions and points are also really motivating for our students.

I think the platform is a great way to learn. It is more interactive and consistent with the topics covered in the curriculum. The only downfall is that some students rush through to the quiz, largely guessing the answers, and get their score through power of elimination more than learning the content.

Languagenut is a fantastic languages learning platform, which is really practical and easy to navigate for teachers and students alike. Their customer support is excellent and extremely efficient. Highly recommended.

As a primary school teacher with very limited French subject knowledge, I used to dread our weekly language lessons. Language Nut has completely transformed that.
The platform is incredibly intuitive and takes all the stress out of planning. The audio examples are perfect for ensuring the children hear accurate pronunciation (which was my biggest worry!), and the interactive games keep my class completely engaged from start to finish. I’ve noticed a massive boost in the children's confidence, and honestly, my own French has improved alongside theirs!
If you are a non-specialist teacher tasked with delivering primary languages, I cannot recommend Language Nut enough. It’s given me my confidence back. 5 stars!

I enjoy the flexibility using Languagenut affords me with my classes. For example with exam classes, I often set up regular revision sprints for them. Or I choose to do flip learning so my students are ready to engage with a topic more readily or easily. Most of all I like the accountability Languagenut places on students to pay attention to their spelling or the grammatical nuances which aren’t reflected in their mother tongue. Overall, a worthwhile investment. One addition which would make it 5 stars, would be pushing the content to a B2.2/C1 level.

Great range of vocabulary, grammar and exam-style questions. Easy to keep check of pupils' progress and to set work for homework/cover.

Languagenut is a really useful homework tool that not only allows students to practice, but is also really time efficient for teachers, as the website already shows marks and success rate,

Great for the students to practise vocabulary as well as grammar and exam skills. You can adapt it to your students, set homework for a whole class, small group of your choice or individuals. The activities encompass all 4 skills fully. The speaking skills are a bit and go for some students but usually great practice. It has simplified my need for homework and students really enjoy revising on it. I have also been known to integrate activities such as the dictations in my lessons. We love it so much this is the second year of using it and will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.

Languagenut is a great way for students to enhance their language acquisition independently. We use the programme for our EAL students to improve their English skills. Students say they like the interactive quizzes that are available to check their understanding.

Any questions I had were answered by the next day if not sooner. I love that I can choose what the kids are learning for the week. From vocab., exam skills, sentence building, phonics, grammar, and verbs that are already in the program to my own materials, this language aide is absolutely amazing. I know my kids love the different activities. You set the tasks and the program will tell you the amount of time it should take to complete. I really cannot say enough good things about the program and the people that work there.

From a teacher's perspective Languagenut is an absolutely brilliant resource to use as a tool to reinforce learning in the classrooom. There's a huge variety of materials to help drill vocabulary, grammar, phonics etc, which encourages students to practice all 4 key skills across the curricula of several examboards from KS3 to KS5. Additionally, you can track students' progress through the exercises, and their level achievement, which gives you great visibility into their engagement. It's such a useful and homework/cover lesson resource too.
