Lavender World uncontactable. No delivery of order since Apr 2023
Ordered lavender in spring 2023. Repeated emails from lavender world until recently stated that they were chasing it up. Then silence. Same postcode as Yorkshire Lavender which went into liquidation in 2022. No telephone number. Only option would be to travel there to buy lavender but would be a costly wasted journey if the business has been taken over by another company.

Ordered lavender plants totalling £81.98 on the 10th march. I’ve not received my order, I’ve sent approximately 20 emails as there is no contact phone number. Only once I got a reply from Rebecca asking if I had received them which I haven’t . I have had no response to further emails, I have now asked for a refund as I have not received my plants. Ordered 32 Hidcote lavender plants in 1litre pots. Plants were on an offer and I found a £20 discount code too. After reading reviews I started to worry I had bought from an unreliable company. I did not need to worry. The plants arrived on time by DPD. Plants were excellent quality lots of new growth and securely and safely packaged. I did not need to contact the company so cannot comment on communication but I’m very happy with my purchase.

No customer service as sent 2 emails requesting order be cancelled and got no response. Order arrived 10 days from ordering and thought postage of £6.99 for 2 small bottles of essential oil too expensive. Essential oil is of average quality. Will not use them again

Absolutely Dreadful - Steer Clear
Absolutely Dreadful. Ordered lavender plants in October 2023 and money was taken immediately. After following up on the delivery date I was told they were unable to deliver to my location and a refund would be issued immediately. Despite numerous emails and promises to refund o received nothing. I asked my bank to do a charge back (paid on a debit card) and have received a refund. Don’t bother trying to talk to them - go straight to your bank. They are a dishonest and disgusting company who seem happy to steal money from unsuspecting customers.
Do not buy from them
Ordered a selection of plants for two customers, while the plants did arrive within a reasonable time, they were not labelled so it was impossible to distinguish between lavender varieties.
On contact I was asked to supply a picture so they could identify.
They failed to do this.
They promised on a number of occasions replacements, they failed to do this.
They promised full refund, they failed to do this even though they ‘stated’ the refund had been done.
They fail to answer emails, and fail to respond to tickets.
It wasn’t until I informed them I would instigate legal action against the company and also personally against the person who sporadically responded did I actually receive a refund.
The two clients were let down as they never received their plants, however I did rectify this personally.
I would recommend that you do not purchase from this, I was going to say business or company, but it in my opinion is neither, it probably is run out of someones spare room while growing plants in their garden.
Rubbish
Rubbish, as most others have said also! Ordered a box of pink lavender, all but one arrived moribund and dead, they said they'd send out replacements and never did and now aren't replying to my follow-up emails. Awful service, would never recommend and never will order from them again.

Ordered lavender plants for delivery in October, still waiting, chased and chased them, they told me dispatch was 20th November, nothing has turned up, now they won’t reply to my emails. Luckily my bank has refunded me. Do you buy, it is a scam.
Shocking customer service-
Shocking customer service- when goods finally arrived they were damaged so refused to accept them. The replacement box was the same as the 1st, ripped, squashed and plants damaged so refused to accept and cancelled order- despite many emails and being lied to I have not received a refund from them and this has been going on for 3 months- appalling service.
Poor, poor, poor!
Obviously my fault for not reading the reviews first! Placed an order but half of what I received were the wrong plants. They asked for photos to prove this, which I sent. Was promised replacement six weeks ago. Still nit received despite chasing. No longer replying to email. No telephone number listed. Found one via google but it is disconnected. Avoid!
Failure to supply
Failure to supply. Placed order 27th October with 3-5 delivery quoted. As of the 18th November nothing. One email from Sam Goodwill (director) to say he would check with despatch then nothing.
On further research find I am not alone.

What a rollercoaster
I ordered 10 boxes of logs at the beginning of August which were supposed to be delivered in September but they never showed up, after chasing the order they told be they would arrive the following week, that week came and went and I chased again, this time I was told rest assured they would be with me by the end of October. They weren't, the company stopped replying to my e-mails and ignored my request for a refund. I was left thinking I'd been scammed.
Update: Out of the blue on Friday I get an e-mail saying my logs would be arriving on Monday, they did and the quality of the logs is fine. If I'd been kept updated about the logs without me chasing and being ignored this would still be a 4 star review even taking into account the huge delay... This company needs better customer service.

This company are such con artists. I've waited months for my credit card to be refunded and now they are asking for my bank details. Not a chance would I supply them my bank details!
Nice lavender plants. Terrible customer service. No logs received
In August I ordered lavender plants plus a group of “Mediterranean plants” plus pre ordered logs.
The lavender plants were really nice and I would have been interested in buying more. But the other plants were poor quality and dried up. The company agreed to refund and kept promising to do so but the money has never appeared in my account. The company has stopped responding to emails enquiring about the delivery of the logs. I will be seeking a refund through my credit card company.

Placed a pre order for lavender plants in August which were due for delivery in September. Plants had still not arrived by the 12th October so I contacted the company to cancel the order.
After being told they had been delivered and supplying proof of delivery - to an address 60 miles away back in August they then stated they had looked at the wrong order and mine was, conveniently enough due to be dispatched within a few days. Person I was speaking with agreed to cancel the order and issue a refund.
This has not been received and now they are not replying to my emails. I have notified my bank and will claim the refund that way.

I have been chasing since May for a refund on lavender plants which arrived dried up and dead having been delivered to the wrong address. I asked for a refund on the dead plants, but they said they would send replacements which I did not want as I was away for two weeks and the moment of planting for our project had past. They ignored this request and sent them anyway. So obviously they were dead too by the time we returned. I have since been chasing for the refund which they promised me. I've had two emails saying they are chasing their accounts department and then there is NOTHING!
This company is not interested in you or your experience and certainly are not interested in listening to you and following through on a promised refund. This has been going on since JUNE, I am no closer to getting the refund due.
I just get the same response each time from BECKY saying she will find out where it is.
DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS WITH THEM - BUY ELSEWHERE!
