I was pleased to find the second-hand camera that I had been looking for, at London Camera Exchange. I traded in my previous one, plus two older cameras, and was very pleased with the deal. I have taken delivery of the second-hand camera and I am impressed with its condition and with the helpfulness of the staff to whom I have spoken.

Disappointment in actual condition of item received.
Purchased a Canon 5d from Southampton Civic Centre marked as 5 stars and boxed with all original accessories . I got a call from the shop to inform me there wasn’t a box included but the camera was in very good condition, so I still decided to continue with the purchase. I received the camera and it clearly wasn’t 5 stars, there was shining around the edges and the mode dial rubber was degrading and sticky leaving black marks when using it. It was also provided with a 3rd party battery which should have been mentioned. I did send back and get a full refund easy enough though. I noticed it is advertised again with 4 stars now but still listed as boxed when it isn’t. I have had another camera before from Civic Centre which didn’t quite match up to the condition report but I kept that one as the price was reasonable for the condition it was in. I have only left this review as I feel they are advertising it again without the full and correct description. I have never had a problem with any of the other branches of London Camera Exchange for whom I have purchased many cameras and lenses and would still recommend shopping with them, I would just suggest if buying from Southampton Civic Centre, you go and check the condition in person.
