London Camera Exchange - Southampton Reviews 

I have recently moved to an apartment overlooking the sea at Milford on Sea. I had a pair of binoculars but wanted to view sailing boats, ships and wild life with greater magnification. The London camera exchange, Southampton - particularly Paul, were exceedingly helpful in advising me of what equipment was availavble within budget, with excellent hands on demonstrations. I purchased a Hawke angled spotting scope with tripod which far exceeds my expectations... very well done LCE and thank you.

Placed my order on line on the Friday. Notified that afternoon it had been dispatched and arrived first working day thereafter. Very efficient service.

Their wisdom can only be the result of experience, understanding and passion. I wouldn’t buy my camera kit from anywhere else.

Purchased a 3k Camera online from the Southampton branch. Easy to purchase and lots of communication, and a call from the shop to confirm address, all good. However one small fly in the soup. They use Evri, perhaps the worst of the worst courier companies. It says, must be handed to customer, as you'd expect with such a valuable item. We live on Dartmoor, a remote area and their track record with delivering is even worse than usual. So, I was not at all happy with that. I did recieve tracking details, then the customary message, we missed you today will try again Monday. As it happens they did deliver it without email or text confirmation, but, get this, they left it in the parcel box at the end of the driveway. A three grand camera in an unlocked box!!. If we didn't live in a remote area where we know our neighbours it would probably go missing. So my message to the LCE, great shops, great staff, but jack in Evri. They may be cheap, but sooner or later something will go wrong.

I ordered a Camera online, and had it the very next day!

Terrific, quick service - the secondhand equipment was delivered within a couple of days and was in great condition, just as described. The fact I have a local LCE store I can go to in the event of any problem with my purchase is a big bonus, as is the 6 month warranty.
