Lack of support for disability
Signed up and explained I had disability told not a problem tutor would be in touch - got an email approx. 2 weeks later saying tutor is going on leave. Due to disability I missed deadline and asked to leave course - they refused to remove me from course and basically bullied me into deferring for 2 months with promise of no more emails/texts chasing for work. Still received texts and when contacted to restart course I explained I wasn't happy and still wanted to leave as I felt that they had not supported my disability and felt bullied into deferral - was passed through to finance to discuss payment options but told i had to pay in full immediately. Asked to be transferred to customer complaints to be told that that was the dept that passed me through to finance. Now waiting for customer complaints to call me back.

I started a course with them and they only took my money and after a week they realized that I wasn't reasonable, therefore I paid and after I needed to find another course provider. I really had a bad experience and I was lied to at the beginning. Avoid it, please you will definitely regret it!
Learning Curve UK and Learning Curve Group are 2 different companies
I have noticed a lot of people are leaving reviews for Learning Curve Group on here they are two different companies
It was very good I’ve learnt a lots
2 LCG courses completed
I have completed two level 2 course with LCG now and have thoroughly enjoyed both. The course itself is knowledgable and informative. You are assigned a tutor, mine was Maryam Patel, and she was fab, quick communication and very helpful when needed. The only negative I can think of is that the website isn't particularly user friendly and the funding process was a pain, I had nearly completed my 3rd assessment (a lot of time and effort) and they were asking for more proof for my funding. I feel the funding should be confirmed before you start. Other than that I would recommend LCG and would use them again myself.
Not sure what all the negative reviews are about?
I completed a cyber security course last year as I was bored and was looking for something to do. Learning curve seemed very helpful and I completed the course within the three month bracket. I have been reading a lot of the negative reviews and it seems people are annoyed that they didn't finish the course and are being charged. This is what they clearly state when taking the course on. I completed my course and got sent my certificate within a few months.
Awful experience
They asked me to want to attend dementia care course, I thought it will be good for my career as I'm carer. Course wasn't bad but assesment is too hard for me, and I failed and today I told I'll get 125 pound invoice as I failed from assesment. I told in the beginning but I never think assesment will be that difficult . I feel like I scammed.
Still waiting a year for my certificate
I completed a level 3 counselling skills a year ago ! Despite many calls and emails I still do not have my certificate and nobody at Learning Curve seem to want to deal with the problem. I've now gone through official governing bodies to complain and hopefully will have a certificate soon. Avoid this place at all costs. Absolutely not worth the trouble.

I wrote huge answers and was told to resubmit half the assignment. A little dodgy.
Rubbish
One of those - if I could rate it less than one star I would review.
The most rubbish customer service ever, I think all of the people that work there have died as I have been trying to get a response for over 10 days now.
It’s a con really - you are charged if you do not do the course you are given but there is no room for support from the customer service team.
Question for the customer service team: what work are you actually doing?
Really enjoyed doing my online course…
Really enjoyed doing my online course Understanding Nutrition and Health level 2 was very hard work speeded through the first unit no problem the second and third unit was very more in-depth so took longer to complete so needed to extend my course deadline to complete it. Really enjoyed doing this course first time done a course online and was ideal being flexible around me as being disabled I could do the course around my needs in the comfort of my own home and not worry about trying to get to a class room when I am having a bad day . The tutor karen Hallewell was really helpful and kept in contact regularly to help me through any issues i had and also through email , telephone and cant wait to start my new course and expand my learning skills and also was really pleased it was funded so I got the course for free and a certificate came in the post as well to keep for the future.
Pretty Awful Experience
I write as someone who does roughly 2-3 online courses a year ranging from level 2-6.
I have honestly never done a course with a company as disorganised as this one. The staff don't seem to have a clue what they are doing and don't communicate with one another. My tutors average response time is 2 weeks even when I respond to her emails withing minutes of receiving them, so I know she is actively working.
The learning platform is very difficult to navigate and if you are writing your answers on there it will delete everything to ask you if you're still there and using it!
I tried my best to complete a…
I tried my best to complete a challenging behaviour level 2 course. But due to personal reasons and having no access to a laptop 24/7, I had to give up half way through the course. I had one unit left and now I'm being threatened with a fine. Obviously I'm not gonna pay it when I have a baby on the way and my oldest to look after!! Money grabbers!
Thinking about joining learning curve? Don’t bother
First of all this course was massively rushed. I’m glad I am not full time employed or else I would have never completed it. The dead lines added pressure I did not need. The course meant I spent less time with my child during his important developmental years. My tutor took over a week to respond to my emails so thankfully I never actually asked her for any help. Her feedback was atrocious and not remotely helpful telling me my typed work was “neat and well presented” is not useful feedback when it is typed into already provided boxes. Absolutely disgusted by this course. I wanted to learn about mental health and how to support someone with it however I feel I’ve come out of this course with my own mental health problems now. Will not be applying for anymore of your courses and I most certainly will not be recommending them to anyone ever
All I will say is if you are employed in any capacity or have a family you enjoy spending time with then do not do this course. Not worth it. I went into this wanting to learn about mental health instead I’ve come out with mental health issues. Caused by this course. The “tutors” and I use this term very loosely are far from helpful. They take over a week to respond to any enquiries by which point you’ve already missed the hand in date for the assignment.
I wish I read the reviews before I started the course to be honest because by the looks of things this company are terrible
Ignored by Learning Curve
I have now completed Diabetes 2, not very difficult. Since then I have sent several messages using the Contact page and Courses | Enrol Here about taking another course but nobody contacts me. I would expect you would want to contact possible students immediately not ignore them?
Part 2 of this saga. Saturday 18 February 2023. My word some of these people are totally unprofessional.
The lady who I spoke to by phone sounded very angry and spent maybe 1 minute talking to me I emailed her details of courses I was interested in and she replied as follows:
09:41 Wednesday 8 February 2023
_________.______[at]learningcurvegroup.co.uk
Good Morning David
Thank you for your email, I will pass your details over to my colleague who will be in touch with you shortly
Regards
10 days later once again I have not heard anything.
Also when I started Diabetes the standard email I was sent said the lady who enrolled me would contact me again in a few days. Needless to say she did not do so. Your company is very unprofessional in numerous ways.

YOU'LL NEVER GET PAID ON TIME AND THEY WILL DELAY YOUR REFERENCES!!!
I was let go as the pandemic started. I worked quite hard and had good retention rates.
Beware that long term tutors will lie about you and defame you if you are actually more experienced than them.
The office is a complete joke they will haunt you for registers and booklets of learners months after the course ended.
Clarity is non existent.
My credit score had been affected twice because of their constant delays with payments. Not only that, the second time the CEO HIMSELF HELD MY PAYMENT THE DAY BEFORE THE PAYMENT WITHOUT ALERTING ME!!! MEANWHILE, THE REASON FOR HAVING HELD THAT PAYMENT WAS NON EXISTENT.
I resisted with them purely because I study in university and I could work four days a week.
And finally, despite your hard work and punctuality they will delay your references!!! So, not only they make you miss payments for no reason whatsoever other than their disorganized mess but they will make it harder for you to find a new job!!!!

I have completed Level 2 Understanding Autism course 4 months ago. After enquiring several times I am still waiting for my certificate. I am giving one star because of the poor service.
TERRIBLE SERVICE JUST READ ⬇️
I enquired about a course got appt a loan to pay for it, got sent the course work everything going great, sent in unit 1 and nothings been marked. Sent in unit 2 still nothing been marked… finnished all 5 modules and still nothings been marked!!! Spoken to them and they forgot enroll me at the start but remembered to take the loan money!!! Emailed customer services and had no reply… wonder why??
This is just slowing my learning down not helping in anyway. if you can’t keep up with the pace, don’t start the race..
AVOID
did a course last year was brilliant and informative, great customer service and staff however this year the course was dull and long winded, nothing like the one I did before, I genuinely didn't have enough time complete it... Staff were rude and I'm now being threatened with the £125 withdrawal fee. Not paying it.
This morning I received my Certificates…
This morning I received my Certificates in the post in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes ( Level 2 )
I loved learning this course #LearningWithLCG
It gave me such understanding and how I can support people with diabetes.
More to come on those in the near future !
Thank you so much for all your support giving me and a big thank you to my Tutor Nicola O’Rourke.
Kind regards.
