Purchased a potential wedding dress
Purchased a potential wedding dress. The turn around time was not made clear and I waited nearly three weeks for delivery. Despite the website address being a UK address the dress was shipped from China. Hence the long delivery time. When it arrived it looked NOTHING like the image and was really poor quality.
I contacted customer services after reading reviews explicitly stating what I wanted to happen regarding a refund. To be offered £10 to keep the dress followed by £38 to keep the dress was rather insulting.
Eventually after paying £40 to return the dress to the states I received a full refund however I was asked to leave a 5 star review - gobsmacked.
Do not use this company.
Very disappointing first experience with Leely
I returned a dress that I had purchased from Leely, but it didn't suit me.
The dress cost £105.00, the cost of the return was £32.00 and I have just received an email from Leely stating that I will get a refund of £91.80, so £13.20 deduction for shipping apparently.
So in actual fact the refund I will receive is £59.80.
Very disappointing will not be using Leely again.
Bad experience
Website says .co.uk, the dress is delivered from china and if you return it, you need to send it to the USA. They also provide a china address.
I bought a dress for £72.80 and paid £10 extra for delivery. It took 19 days for me to receive the dress. When i received it, wasn't the dress they had advertised. It looked similar though. The quality was appalling and it looked tacky. It also didnt fit me.
Their website doesnt say where or how to return an item so i contacted customer service. Melody told me that i can keep the dress and they will give me £20 in coupon. So i get to keep a dress that doesn't fit me and then have a coupon to buy more crap from them. I told them i want a refund and dont want their dress. She asked me to return it to a USA address and said that i should keep the dress cost low when posting because of custom or something. I paid £25 for postage to return the dress.
After they received the item, they refunded me 72.80. So basically i spent £108 on the dress and got £72.80 back. They didnt refund me delivery but atleast i got some money back. I would stay away from this website. Getting married is already stressful and going through this to find a good dress is even worse.
AWFUL products and customer service
If I could give negative stars I would. Ordered two dresses that looked nothing like the website photos - cheap fabric and completely wrong sizing. When I asked to return them, Leely refused to refund and demanded I ship at my own cost to a warehouse in Texas, despite their UK-facing site and prices in GBP. They insisted on a 7-day return window, which violates the UK’s legal 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases, and refused to cover international postage even though the items were mis-described. Customer service was unhelpful, ignored UK consumer law, and stalled on providing a refund. They have now ignored all my emails and the issue is still not resolved.
If you value your money and peace of mind, steer clear of Leely. Absolutely AWFUL customer service.

I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a dress from Leely! My daughter ordered a dress for a wedding. It took a long time to arrive and unfortunately arrived while we were away on holiday. She opened and tried on as soon as we were back. The quality was poor, beads on the bodice were loose and many of them fell off while trying it on! The red lining shows over the top of the dress, very poor. It cost £90 over £100 with delivery.
When I contacted them they would not refund as faulty because it was more than 7 days after delivery. I tried to explain situation but all I got was an offer of a replacement which was no good as it wouldn’t arrive in time for wedding or a coupon which I said I wouldn’t use due to not wanting to order anything else from them. Stick to UK based stores and companies with a decent customer service.

If there's no star I would put for them, it's so unprofessional. They are taking so long—it's been 18 working days and it's still in the process. There is no information about the shipping date. When I told them I would write a review, they told me it was delayed. Why not from the beginning?! And I still don't know the quality of the item I ordered, if the service is miserable I expect nothing of the quality. Huge mistake to order from them
misleading product delivery and refusal to refund
When this organisation says expedited delivery it means that it’s a 7 to 10 day processing time plus a seven day delivery time so please don’t believe them. The product arrived significantly later than the event and although I notified them two days before the actual parcel arrived that I would need an immediate refund as would be returning the item, they are now refusing to provide a refund as I only chased up seven days later.
Customer service only responded after I chased them several times and at that point they said I was too late! Really disgraceful and misleading advert and customer service.

The dress I ordered took very long to arrive. This is not a UK based company in spite of their name. When the item did arrive it was nothing like the picture in my opinion. I chose to return, the company offered me insulting amount to keep dress which I declined. Eventually after several emails they accepted my return but the shipping address was USA. I’ve spent almost a third returning the dress and to add insult to injury they are deducting further costs from my refund amount for some insurance! Awaiting my refund…

AWFUL!! Do not buy!! Ordered a dress for my daughter’s prom. Took forever to arrive and when it did it Looked nothing like the one on the website. It was of very poor quality and fit and had no tags or protective packaging. Just shoved into a cheap bag. Please, please, please for the love of God, DO NOT order from this company!! They are scam artists and a disgrace. I received a dress that was way to small to be a size 12. They make it impossible to return, I was also offered a £12 refund if I was willing to keep the dress....why would I keep something that is to small!? I paid £120 for the dress, and refused their ridiculous offers. I sent the dress back using Evri to an address in Texas, probably not even a real address. I have received emails from Evri to say they aren't responding to their emails regarding customs charges..I got in touch with them and they said they don't pay customs charges, and they recommended I put the value of the dress as £20 on the postage. There was no way I was going to do that, as I wanted to be insured in case something went wrong. They also mentioned AFTER I posted it there would be restocking fees and handling fees once they receive it, then they will refund the difference. Absolute disgusting company, and I won't ever shop there again. I just hope people read the negative reviews so they don't make the same mistake I did. I have currently raised a case with PayPal, so we shall see what happens! Lastly, you can also tell some of the positive reviews are fake, fake accounts and fake reviews! Just read them carefully.

I would never, ever use this company again..the dress I ordered was no way the size I ordered, the whole return process was so stressful, I did eventually get a refund but not without numerous emails sent, it was not straightforward and the company tried very hard to persuade me to keep the dress and accept a small refund of £10.

Do not buy from this company, its a scam. Dresses arrived and were way too small, even though I checked the measurements. I was offered a £20 refund despite the dresses being over £200. Eventually they agreed to a full refund if I returned them. Have done so but the dresses have been stuck in Chinese customs for months so I'm unlikely to receive anything.

I ordered 2 bridemaids dresses that came wrapped in a bundle all creased not an issue but they were poor quality didn’t fit and one had twisted straps . They will not refund me as they say their policy is that because I chose a specific colour it was classed as a custom item and so non returnable . I found their customer service bad I cannot use the dresses they weren’t just a bit small they were way off the mark . I would accept a partial refund but they refused. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Leely UK has been nothing short of disgraceful.
I placed an order that never arrived. After waiting far beyond a reasonable timeframe, I requested a refund – only to be met with delay after delay and excuse after excuse. Every time I contacted them, the goalposts were moved. First, they needed more a hand written declaration it wasn’t delivered. Then, they needed more "investigation." Eventually, they just stopped making sense altogether asking for a police report on an undelivered dress.
I asked to log a formal complaint, expecting at least a basic level of professionalism. Unsurprisingly, that request was completely ignored. No acknowledgment, no follow-up – just silence.
After exhausting all reasonable avenues, I had no choice but to raise a dispute with my bank. Now Leely UK is actively challenging that dispute, despite having provided no item and no meaningful communication. The audacity is astonishing.
In short: Leely UK has taken my money, failed to deliver the product, refused a refund, dodged accountability, and is now attempting to block a legitimate chargeback. This company operates with zero integrity. Save yourself the time, stress, and financial loss – do not order from them under any circumstances

Purchase was a month late, despite this, the shipping fee was not refunded. The dress wasn’t amazing quality and customer service was difficult when trying to initiate a return.
Returns are next to impossible
Read all the negative reviews, they are correct. Impossible to return anything. Customer service will run you in circles. Make sure you read independent reviews, not the ones on the selling websites. I'm out £135, thank goodness it's not more.
