I have been a customer of Lewington Heating for over 5 years and have always been impressed by them. BUT the company has changed and it appears their new structure and customer service is a shadow of its former self. My last experience was a total disaster - the first engineer came out to quote, provided a spec which didn't match what I asked for and then ignored all phone calls and emails (to the engineer and office) which meant another engineer had to be sent out. This time a correct spec was produced and the work was, at best, of acceptable quality (new hot water tank with no feeding pipework insulated even though the checklist on the side of the tank indicates this should be performed) and in some places quite simply shoddy (pipework rerouted under floor boards but performed so poorly that the pipes bulged above the joists so the floorboards couldn't be re-laid). To top it all off, the office then sent out a request for the already paid invoice to be paid again, claiming it had never been paid (it had and in person at their office!). This was then followed by a bill to rectify their poor quality work so the floorboards could be relaid (no mention that they would charge and appeared to accept that the work was in need of rectification). Needless to say, what I expected to be a straightforward piece of work has turned into a nightmare and a series of harassing emails to pay for work already paid for. Unsurprisingly, after being happy with their work in the past, I shan't be returning.

I was massively impressed with the work Dan and Dylan did on replacing (and moving) my old boiler with a new combi. This involved removing all the old tank etc and amending the location of the boiler from the kitchen to an upstairs bedroom (on a different wall of the house so involved additional external pipework).

They were knowledgeable, polite, extremely hard working, very respectful of property, cleaned up after themselves (at the end of each day as well as at the end of the job), and kept me informed of what they were doing and when. There was also an overwhelming feeling that they took pride in what they were doing, which is a fantastic quality to have.

The original quote was very reasonable and they did everything they said they would do within the timeframe set.

It gives great peace of mind to have a company that you trust will do a great job every time - Lewingtons are that company.

We had a faulty toilet fill valve on an ideal flush to wall cistern and had booked an engineer to repair this.
The engineer turned up very promptly and was very courteous and professional. He discussed the problem and resolution and had the parts fitted and toilet ready for use within two hours. He also removed old sealant around the pan and resealed it.
We were very happy with the job and would highly recommend Lewingtons for any plumbing needs. We have also previously used them for servicing and central heating repairs.

Engineer arrived on time, carried out service and explained what he had done and what I needed to note in the future if we had any problem with boiler pressure.
Engineer was very pleasant, thorough and efficient.

We can’t thank Dan enough for a brilliant service and getting us back on track so quickly - he really went above and beyond. No question was too much trouble and he explained everything thoroughly! Had annual maintenance for my Worcester Boiler 15.1. 25. Suberb Service! As expected I wouldntgo anywhere else!

Very efficient and friendly staff at the office sorted an appointment for me within 3 days. First time using Lewingtons and I’m very pleased. In the past I’ve had to explain we have a split system; part conventional heating radiators and part under floor. The latter usually sends engineers I’ve called in the past running for the hills! Engineers arrived and sourced the problem within 15 minutes and repaired within another 15 minutes and left us with everything working as it should. Can’t fault service like that all.

Lewingtons are brilliant, I've been using them for 20 years. With several properties to keep tabs on they remind me and arrange upcoming services as well as using for my own home. They are always there when you need them. Highly recommended.

Ben arrived on time and from the outset could not do enough. He answered all of our many questions and went out of his way to show us how things operated. He was friendly, efficient and professional throughout.

Had made the decision to get an Air Source Heat Pump fitted to replace the 30 year old Gas Boiler. Shopped around for quotes. After detailed discussion and various calculations re heat loss/insulation etc (by Lewingtons), decided to give them the go-ahead. Lewingtons applied for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant of £7500 and installed the 'Grant' Heat Pump over five days. This included the replacement of all the radiators, water tank and much of the pipework. Darren and Toby were excellent throughout the process. Warm house, hot water and no more relying on gas. I'd highly recommend Lewingtons Heating Specialists to fit a heat pump.

Contact and appointment was easy. Arrived when promised. Repair carried out quickly. Engineer was polite and efficient.

Oil boiler service performed promptly and efficiently and subsequent query handled quickly.
