Lidl needs to be investigated for what…

Lidl needs to be investigated for what is in the products they sell.
I queried their coconut milk and later their desiccated coconut some time ago.
They vanished off the shelves both here and in england and was off the shelves for over six months.
I eventually received manufacturers documentation on both replacement items.
Since then I have queried several items but they choose to muddy the waters or lately plain ignore my emails as opposed to giving a customer details which by law they are supposed to do.
Further to that I brought rotten fruit to the managers attention many times and went back into two stores later that day and it was still on the shelves contaminating other fruits.
If staff are going to throw fruits onto a shelf from a distance what do they expect.
Horrible people to deal with.

Worst Customer Service In Ireland..

Worst Customer Service In Ireland...
Won't Answer The Phone, When They Do, lift The Receiver And Then Disconnect You.
Rang 4 Times To Experience This....
Then You Contacted Them By Email And It Takes Days For A Response.
I Really Don't Think They Care About Customers In Customer service?.
Most Of The Staff Are Helpful In The Stores Thankfully.
Anyway I Went To Lidl Sligo Today To Purchase A Set Of Kettle & Toaster On Offer As A Set And Present.
No Toasters Only Kettles Arrived Into Stock, So The Manger Informed Me The Toasters Won't Come Now.
So What's The Point In Fooling People With Fake Advertisements.
So I was Told To Contact Customer And Maybe Then Can Track Down A Toaster?.
It's Sad To See A Company Like Lidl Who Where A Good Company When They Entered The Irish Market, But Are Now Gone One Of The Worst When It Comes To Customer Service. They Have Forgotten That It's Us The Customers Who Are Keeping Their Doors Open?.
Get Your Act Together Lidl, It's Not Rocket science... All It Takes Is A Bit Of Manners And Respect.

I was in Lidl tonight and couldn't believe that they were charging €3.99 plus deposit for a bottle of coke. I walked across the road to Centra and got one for €3.00

Lidl Robot Grass Mower - Broken 💔

Let me start by saying that this matter has still not been resolved and Lidl customer service, their complaints dept and the useless service provider have broken every promise they have made to resolve and refund our money.

I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere if contemplating purchasing electrical items from Lidl as they just don't care.

Do not buy e vouchers

I recently purchased an e-voucher from the Lidl Ireland website, but it still hasn’t arrived over 24 hours after purchase. I expected a quick delivery, especially for an electronic voucher, but nothing has been sent to my email.

I tried to contact customer support by calling the dedicated number 1800 201 080, but the call cuts off immediately every time. I’ve also sent an email to giftcardsatlidl.ie
, yet I’ve received no response.

Overall, this experience has been very frustrating. I made a purchase and have received no voucher, no explanation, and no customer service support. I hope Lidl improves their communication and follow-up for customers buying e-vouchers.

PS, I have just been informed on WhatsApp that Lidl do not accept calls. Why list a dedicated customer service number ??

Arrogance personified

I am a regular shopper in Lidl Ballybofey. I must say that in general the staff are most helpful, courteous and friendly. I am sorry to say that I had a very annoying experience at checkout number 1 in the forenoon today. A male person on the checkout there was by no way suited to meeting the requirements of a so called shop assistant to a Lidl customer. He was sullen, discourteous, arrogant and had to be advised that I was overcharged for an item I purchased. He ignorantly brushed the checkout counter in front of me as I moved away as if to infer that I had some type of bacterium discarded behind me as I left the shop. The usual gentleman on till number 1 is courteous, helpful, friendly and a professional throughout. I would advise management to move this clown I had the misfortune of interacting with today to the back store. I am 81 years old and don’t expect to be treated like this by any buffoon who is a servant to the shopping public. Would the management and training personnel please read those shocking reviews and comments and endeavour to improve service, PLEASE.

Rotten vegetables and fruit

Last Friday I bought oranges in the Lidl store in portlaoise and I had to throw out 4 oranges out of 6 and the week before that I bought a bag of potatoes I had to throw them all out they were completely rotten
Groceries are expensive enough without having to throw food you just spent your hard earned money on in the bin
This is shocking and not good enough
Two weeks in a row rotten vegetables and fruit
