Lidl Ireland defy Consumer Rights Act 2022
Lidl Ireland proactively and openly defy The Consumers Rights Act 2022 in respect of the return of faulty goods, denying the right of customers to return faulty goods in store after six months for a refund in the maner originally paid for in store, typically cash or card. Forcing customers to engage with head office Quality Assurance department, who actually have no interest in QA of faulty product reported, customers are forced to hand over sensative date ie. Bank details, to obtain a refund which taking 6 weeks and endless follow up.

Damien store manager at doughiska lidl store was very rude he even doesn't know how to speak with customer . How Lidl teach them to be a manager even they don't know how to speak with people. Really annoyed and stressed because of lidl service they should take action against his behaviours to people as i had with with staff they weren't happy either with him in the store
Lidl strabane.
Now this might be termed first world problems but I paid 8 pound for a bottle of red wine which turned out to be rancid, so I took it back and found an employee who simply said go to the tills which we're about ten deep, Absolutely no customer service, next time I'll buy my wine in Asda.
Products are good but some employees…
Products are good but some employees are terrible. Just encounters straight racism today (Balcurris Rd, Ballymun, Dublin 11) and the franchise does not even want to acknowledge it.
Complaint ref :113756891, Lidl, bad practices
Had a problem for a second time, they don't seem to be able to manage there offers.
Overcharged €10+, manager without name tag, offered me €3.50 at first, said to refund items & redo would take too long ? Ended up doing this then was offering a refund of €6+, of which I can only believe he failed to add my bottle return voucher of €3.25. Ended up after a big incedent of having a refund of €33.49, forgot to get my bottle refund voucher of €3.25, ongoing terrible store & now noreply from customer service.
Will consult Agri-Food Regulator in 10 days. Emailed Agri food regulator & no reply as yet ? not sure if this is a true regulator as stated on the w.w.web.
Just advised Agri food regulator is not a consumer regulator ? Needs updating online, was informed by Colin to take the complaint to CCPC, so now will contact them while I wait for reply to complaint by lidl Ireland.
Lidl Grange Road
Lidl Grange Road, Rathfarnham.
Great value and range in wines. Superb rib of beef on the bone. Delicious legs and half legs of lamb. Fresh fruit and veg in good condition. I rarely shop anywhere else.
And the staff, pleasant, friendly and helpful. Five stars from me.
Lidl Gulliver's park
People have to walk all the way from the entrance to the checkout to pick-up a trolley 🤦
Garden Products
Don't Buy Any Garden Products.
If you have a problem you can't return to store . I purchased a chain saw last year got onto customer service was promised my money back , 5 months later still waiting to get money back . A Joke Customer Service.
Upse
I helped people who moved to this country 20 years ago, even helped with computer and collage for sara . herself and her mother scammed thousands from me and wouldn't give it back when I was sick. I see her at the checkout and she started roaring abuse and I got barred . Very distressing especially as too sick to get out much . Tried to explain to all staff she called I only said hello. No wonder people are racist. Horrible experience being used , robbed and then getting abused when you manage a small trip to shop . Shame on you.

Lidl - East Wall
Yesterday I was in Lidl, Baldoyle. Dreadful store, you can see my review. Today I was in Lidl East Wall. In the interest of balance I have to comment on it. Lovely store, fully stocked, wide aisles, not cluttered in any way. Plenty of staff on the tills and several self service check outs. Overall a very pleasant experience. I cant comment on the staff as I had no interaction with them. I shall return.
Lidl Shackleton Warehouse Clearance Refusal.
Lidl Shackleton Warehouse Clearance Refusal.
I tried to buy some items from the warehouse clearance but checkout staff refused to sell it to me! They basically accused me of trying to steal by grouping items together in a pack. The pack was put together by Lidl! Very embarrassing to be treated like that at the tills and as a customer of theirs since the store opened I wont be returning.
Staff need training in customer care…
Staff need training in customer care skills. I was in the lidl retail park in drogheda. Putting my groceries on the belt. There was a woman in front of me with no groceries. She was waiting for her partner to give her the basket of groceries which he kicked up past me. Hight of bad manners. The worst part was when I asked the shop assistant what's going on and she shouted at me this woman is first. It's the way she shouted it. Never came across the like of it. How do these people get employed in these places? I feel perhaps management need to do a refresher course on customer care skills and seek out the right people to work in lidl for a start. It seems Every other super market in Ireland value their customers but not lidl.
Not bad but not good
Not bad but not good, to start off the lines are MASSIVE and some of the items expire in less than three weeks after I buy them.
Very bad service by Peter manger Talbot Street
After being a customer for past 8 years.

Disappointing Customer Service at Lidl…
Disappointing Customer Service at Lidl in Shackleton /Adamstown
I recently visited Lidl in Shelkton to return a faulty children’s garment (a hoodie for a 10-year-old boy) that was poorly stitched. My son noticed the issue when he tried it on, as the garment appeared to be improperly made.
Unfortunately, the staff member Adrian refused to issue a refund, claiming there was nothing wrong with the item. However, it is impossible to judge the fit and stitching without actually trying the garment on, which Adrian did not allow. The item is brand new, with tags still attached, and was returned in its original packaging.
Adrian’s attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. He kept consulting a colleague, and both of them were observing me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. His approach was unprofessional and lacked empathy for a genuine customer concern.
I am disappointed with the level of service I received and would appreciate better handling of such situations in the future.
Christmas food shopping
23rd December 2024 . I visited their store Ballincollig Cork. The store was extremely busy at the time. I did my full Christmas food shopping .I have to say I was not disappointed by the range of products and the floor staff were so helpful nothing was a problem when I asked a member of staff had they got a product I couldn't find ! The guy went and got me the product brought it back to me ask me was there anything else he could help me with even though he was under pressure restocking the freezers . At this stage I was loaded down as I had only a small trolley not big enough for my Christmas food shop . Next guy I met was also extremely helpful I needed to get fire logs he re arranged my trolley to put them in with a smile on his face . I was walking up towards the till a young lady with a lidl wareing a Christmas jumper came to my aid offered to help me as my trolley was very heavy at this stage and hard to push she went and got me a bigger trolley helped me of load my shopping at the till 1 think I checked out at till 6/7 she processed to stay with me and reload my shopping with me . The guy that was on the check out was excellent in helping me pack my food into the right bags eg frozen food together, veg , bread, cleaning products ect . BRILLIANT SERVICE. the lady them went above and beyond and helped me to my car and packed my products into my car . I only got her name it is Kim . I do hope the guys that helped me on the shop floor remember me as I didn't get there names . I write this review from my heart as I dreaded doing my Christmas food shopping as I fill up with anxiety when I get to the payment point because I can be slow at packing my shopping when I see a long queue behind me I feel I am holding everyone up. My anxiety slows me down. My experience shopping in Lidl for Christmas was stress free, the knock on effect for the rest of that day and Christmas it has been stress free thank you to the Lidl staff I met on the 23rd of December 2024 Ballincollig Cork. Time 11am /12.45pm .

If I could choose no star I would
If I could choose no star I would . Got my Christmas turkey opened it today Xmas eve to cook and it was gone off . Date was 27th December . Rang customer service and asked if I could change it for a new one they said I would have to buy a new one . And then sent me 25€ money off voucher with my next shop which did not cover the price of the original turkey . I don’t shop in Lidl just got the turkey so voucher is useless to me . Really bad service
