the item was advertised as in stock…
the item was advertised as in stock when purchased but informed after payment they did not have stock still awaiting for the items i have paid for a week later

Good customer service but packaging and courier poor…
Great prices and good customer service when things go wrong but order was poorly packed and then shipped via DPD so arrived battered and bashed and with 20% of the order smashed. Light Bulb World customer service were very proactive and arranged prompt replacements but considering the delicate nature of the goods they need to pay better attention to their shipment packaging and find a different courier.

Check if in actually in stock
Delivered with 4 days. The only concern was when I purchased the astro palermo lights the website said that they were in stock. The next day I received an email from Jason Gross saying that the lights were on order as they were not in stock. I checked the website and it still shows that the where in stock. I strongly suggest that you ring to check if they actually have any item in stock before you purchase.

Many thanks for your review. The website shows these items in stock with a 3-5 working day lead time as they come direct from stock held by Astro. They are in stock with the manufacturer and arrived to you within the stated lead time on the website.
Astro have hundreds of lines and therefore we are unable to hold stock of the lines simply due to the space that would be needed to house them. This is why many decorative lighting companies such as Astro offer a fast despatch as well as access for sellers such as ourselves to be able to see their live stock numbers.

At first disappointed as I ordered for next day delivery and not in stock. I received an email advising me of this and offer deliver in 3-5 days or a refund. I gave a date when I wanted delivery. Delivered when I requested, well packaged and fully informed of delivery times.
The light itself is great, put up straight away and looks great, just as described and saved £59 from price in local shop. Would certainly but from here again.

Excellent responsiveness
After placing the order I received a prompt email saying it was not on stock hence delivery would take 5-7 days. Although it took longer than that, I am satisfied with the experience overall as when I sent a follow up email I again received a prompt response and I received the lamp within 3 days.
